Christmas part 2 for us today - off to my sister's with all my family so really looking forward to it. Had a lovely day yesterday, my son loved it!

Anyone else suffering with really sore / uncomfortable hips? Feel like I toss and turn all night! Xx

AliceRR · 26/12/2018 09:11

@Yakadee I get sore hips and legs at night. I lay on one side then after a while my hips and legs hurt so I turn to the other side and then that side starts hurting too... and then it hurts to turn due to the PGP... I’ve read sleeping on something soft like a duvet can help so I’m going to try that.

Yakadee · 26/12/2018 10:00

@AliceRR - interesting! I'll certainly look into that then! I've started snoring too so between my shuffling and snoring hubby isn't sleep either Haha x

powkin · 26/12/2018 10:54

@emalady a bit better thanks, I often find not being at home or out of routine doesn’t help, waking up disorientated can make me more panicky.

@Yakadee - my right hip is especially painful so hurts to turn over in the night but it made a very alarming cracking sound yesterday and actually feels better!

Struggling today, back is very sore. Wish I could manage longer walks.

emalady · 26/12/2018 12:46

@powkin glad it's a bit better. I'm finding it a frustrating cycle where it gets worse if I'm over tired and stops me sleeping so makes the tiredness worse!!! Grr! 😴

My pelvic pain has been a bit better until the last couple of days. Quite excited about fitting in a swim tomorrow, need to do some exercise that isn't going to put too much pressure on my joints.

AliceRR · 26/12/2018 15:20

@emalady have you found swimming helps?

Rowse · 26/12/2018 15:30

Thought I'd come on and share my bargain of the day. Snuzpod website have 20% off everything today so we just bought one with £40 off, it was the last big purchase on the list, so feeling nicely prepared now.
They are low on stock with some colour ways sold out, of anyone's interested here's the link and the code is BOX20 www.snuz.co.uk/

emalady · 26/12/2018 17:38

@Alicerr I haven't done enough yet to really know but think at least it should not make things worse while allowing me some cardio. Worried about being fit enough for labour if I can't up my exercise a bit.

AliceRR · 26/12/2018 19:29

@Rowse Thank you for that, I’m after a snuzpod or the Cozee but haven’t quite decided...

@emalady That’s exactly how I feel but there doesn’t seem to be much I can do that doesn’t make the PGP worse. I think I might have read that we shouldn’t do breastroke but can’t 100% remember 🤔

LookingAtTheStars89 · 26/12/2018 22:42

powkin · 26/12/2018 23:09

Congratulations @LookingAtTheStars89 ! I’m sorry you are so unwell too. I hope you both make a speedy exit from the hospital.

I still don’t have a clue what goes in a hospital bag so really must get that sorted!

Lulabell1 · 26/12/2018 23:33

@lookingatthestars89 congratulations hes beautiful! Thats it now they are all going too start coming i remember in my last group from 32 weeks onwards it just picked up very quickly! Im 33+1 today and due 12th feb so some of you must be nearly 35 weeks scary how quickly it has gone!

Eyedontknow · 26/12/2018 23:41

Congrats @LookingAtTheStars89 ! So exciting! I really need to sort out my hospital bag tomorrow...I'm 35w already.

@Rowse which Snuzpod did you get?

Wames90 · 26/12/2018 23:58

Congratulations @lookingatthestars89 😍💐. I hope you’re not apart for too long x

sickmumma · 27/12/2018 01:05

Congratulations @LookingAtTheStars89 hope you and baby make a speedy recovery and are back together soon! Must be really hard and I bet that was a shock! ❤️

Scary to think one by one all the babies will be arriving within the next few weeks! I still have 9 weeks to go (not due until the 28th!!) crazy to think some of you are 35 weeks already!!

I haven't packed a hospital bag either and haven't even got all the stuff to go in it so I must get into gear! Can't wait to get these Xmas decorations down and have a proper clean! Nesting has officially kicked in!!

I am a bit worried about my maternity, I have to claim maternity allowance however I am still waiting for payslips from sept onwards (when my pay increased by quite a lot!!) from my boss and also a smp form to say why your not entitled! It says you need to leave 28 days for it to process but I am due to start on the 23rd!! I think I may need to push it back otherwise I will miss out but can I do that?!?

bubblybrit · 27/12/2018 06:06

@LookingAtTheStars89. Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy. Hopefully you aren’t apart too long! Xx

Can’t wait to hear about all other babies being born over the next few weeks.....I feel as if I have ages to go as not due until the 16th Feb.....sure it will fly in though.

Who will be next I wonder? Xx

2019Mama · 27/12/2018 06:45

@lookingatthestars89 Congratulations he’s beautiful ♥️ Hopefully you’re both reunited soon..

Think I best get a move on and finish packing the final bits in my hospital bag...

32 +4 seems like I have ages left but we have so much to sort out in terms of house stuff i reckon time will fly 😬🙊
