It is nearly December and I am sure all we want for Xmas are healthy pregnancies and babies

Good luck to everyone still here and so sorry for how many we have already lost on the way

@TwittleBee I'm feeling really guilty because I've hated almost every moment of being pregnant. Really struggled with being constipated for 2 weeks and now the nausea is making my life hell.

When I spoke to my epu they said I couldn't self refer.

Just had a call from my gp and he's booked me a scan for 9am tomorrow. Hopefully everything will be okay. Just got to get through today.

@Twistering @TwittleBee he is indeed! Thanks Hun, thing is whenever anyone's sick he doesn't seem to deduct it, even if we've said we don't need to be paid for it.... so I'll let my HR lady know I don't wanna be paid for pregnancy sick pay.

@Onestep2 it is a shame. They were very supportive with miscarriage. However he also suggested then that I take days off out of my holiday or unpaid which my HR lady did not like or stand for!

@Frazzlerock see but I can work from home to as I have a laptop but it's not even been discussed. I've been at work yesterday and threw up loads and it wasn't even mentioned about working from home!! Keep positive for scan tomorrow!! I'm only one day behind for my scan as it's Thursday!!!

@Kentishgal Trying to think that way. Just don't get why men feel morning sickness is nothing. Or it does just happen in the morning and once?! 😂 x

@ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts sorry to hear this, hope you aren’t panicking too much. In my pregnancy last year I had some spotting at 10pm one night - I was seen the next morning by the EPU. Sadly for me it wasn’t good news but I’m sure that won’t be the case for you. However I was 10-11 weeks at the time so if you’re quite early on they might leave it a bit. Seems like a lot of women have some spotting or bleeding and everything turns out fine. Hope you get seen soon and get some good news x

@Giraffe888 if you were straining then it could definitely be from that. I’m glad you’re having bloods done, even if nothing is wrong then it will give you peace of mind. Hope you get good news. Fingers crossed 🤞

@ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts when I had a bleed 2.5 years ago I went straight to the EPU and all I had to do was sit and wait my turn.

That was in SW London though. My local EPU (I've moved out of London) won't allow self referrals . I had to waste GP time instead

Oh it was just spam, one of those "you can make eleventy billion pounds in a day with this work from home venture"

Wow wish I'd known - eleventy billion pound would have been great 😉.

The nausea has started today - I've eaten four slices of white toast - I only ever eat brown but I just can't fancy anything other than white toast and peanut butter. I swore it would just be fruit and veg smoothies this time!!

@Kentishgal I've just tried to eat a bit of toast with jam as normally that was fine. Nope. Finished eating it and it's come straight back up 😭

All this talk of eating and then throwing up has made me hungry... Think I'll go for a jacket potato, beans and cheese

@Kentishgal yes it would! I have just been updating my wish list on the John Lewis website and a few thousand quid would come in handy

@Delilah7 - they defo should not be making you take days out of your annual leave or unpaid after your MC, how inconsiderate! i hope the HR lady told them where to go!

Morning (almost afternoon!) guys,

Feel like utter shite today. Had a major day planned at work with meetings, interviews, and the like, but had to call in sick as I've emptied the contents of my stomach into the loo several times over. Just dry heaving now :(

So sorry, I can see loads of updates above but can't seem to focus on exactly who and what. Hope everyone is ok x

I don't blame you not being able to focus atm, the thread has also been moving v v v fast today!

Nope I am off the noodles now Onestep2 they make me heave. No clue what I will eat, I am so hungry but gone off everything it seems now (well everything apart from chocolate...)
