I'm tempted to buy some second hand from eBay this Time. Although gonna wait til boxing day sales and see if I get anything then

TwittleBee · 19/11/2018 12:12

ReginaPhalange89 I never bloody found much in sales last time! Its like they know us pregnant ladies need it!

I am an emotional wreck atm, cried on way to work (happy tears btw) over a song! But now crying sad tears because a women in our ante-natal group (from DS) so doesn't like me and it is becoming more and more obvious in the group chats.

I ordered some from ASOS, but they're quite short in the leg, and I don't have long legs! I ordered some from gap in the end (with a 30% off code as they expensive!) And they're cut big, I ordered a size 8 and can't believe I'd need smaller!

I tried next, but most of the sizes are on a 3-4 week delivery, which is annoying because I like next jeans generally.

I also tried Mothercare, but they didn't have anything smaller than a 10 in stock.

H&M they only did over bump and I wanted under bump, but had some last time and they were great!

Onestep2 · 19/11/2018 12:20

Most days im in a long t-shirts / shift dress / skater style dress so i pretty much LIVE in leggings. Im hoping that Leggings will give me a bit of grace..... at least up until Christmas!!

for those on here who already have kids.... when did your bump start showing?

ratherbeshowjumping · 19/11/2018 12:21

Ah I definitely won't discount h&m then.
I live miles away from any h&m so can't pop in and try on either. It is really frustrating that they don't have any maternity sections in any shops.
I'm quite short @Laburna so they may be ideal for me.... I can't believe I'm 7+3 but already looking at these types of things... is it normal to need mat clothes so early?

@TwittleBee - poor you - what's her issue? She sounds horrid.

TwittleBee · 19/11/2018 12:22

Onestep2 at 17 weeks I could still fit into my normal clothes but there was certainly something there beyond bloat. But I didnt pop out properly till about 20 weeks

ratherbeshowjumping not sure, I only first noticed it when she removed me from her social media. I assumed her previous sarky comments were just jokey. But she has become more blunt in the group's whatsapp and is like Ice when we meet up now. She also arranges a lot of meet ups without me. I havent the guts to ask her outright. I have such shit anxiety anyway, this is just making it worse. Today she tried to rearrange our Christmas drinks to a date I have previously said I couldnt do, i am sure it isnt coincidence.

@onestep2 with my first I didn't show really til 19/20 weeks and even then it could have been mistaken for too much xmas dinner lol. With my second I was in my mat jeans pretty early, had a proper bump at 14 weeks!
#3 I'm probably gonna end up a whale by 12 week 🙈😂

BettySwoll0cks · 19/11/2018 12:28

I loved Seraphine ones last time, they're not cheap but they are comfy and a really flattering fit on the leg. I'm going to dig mine out of retirement shortly ... I've already gone into bamboo pregnancy leggings over the weekend!!

Oh TwittleBee that's rotten. A big hug from all of us here, who love you already x

ReginaPhalange89 · 19/11/2018 12:29

@twittlebee she sounds like a right witch. I just wouldn't acknowledge her when you all meet up. Don't even say hi ! Probably piss her off 😂

ratherbeshowjumping · 19/11/2018 12:30

That's awful @TwittleBee -it doesn't sound like you need a friend like her anyway....!x

Thanks @bettyswoll0cks I will check them out :)

SnailorSwift · 19/11/2018 12:33

@TwittleBee says more about her than it does you lovely 💕

I'm fed up in work today so tired/nauseous and just want to go home and sleep.

TwittleBee · 19/11/2018 12:40

Thank you ladies, means a lot to hear that all. DH just keeps telling me she is jealous but people arent really driven by that are they? I think I must have annoyed her somehow, not sure how though.

SnailorSwift oh bless you, long left at work? Any chances you could head off early?

Sorry @ratherbeshowjumping I was typing quickly. None of the normal trousers I own were comfy this morning, so I've ordered some from h&m!

ReginaPhalange89 · 19/11/2018 12:50

Boohoo have 25% off everything today (not sure if it's just today) if anyone is interested, they have a decent amount of maternity stuff ! Haven't tried it yet but I do quite like their normal range

MyloC · 19/11/2018 12:53

So sorry to hear of more loses. Looking after yourselves Flowers

I have been quiet but still following. Find it hard to keep up with all the messages! I am definitely in the few symptoms club and find I can’t relax at all!! I have sensitive boobs and a bit more tired but that’s all really.

MyloC · 19/11/2018 12:53

Sorry that should say look after yourselves. Typing on phone!

5fivestar · 19/11/2018 13:19

Massively clutching at straws here but does anyone know if the bleeding stops, is that a glimmer of hope ?

DartmoorDoughnut · 19/11/2018 13:21

Hope all those suffering with losses are doing ok Sad thinking of you all Flowers

DartmoorDoughnut · 19/11/2018 13:23

@5fivestar I had an early miscarriage in August (I was about 5 and a bit weeks) and once the bleeding started it didn’t stop for 5/6 days so based purely on my experience I’d say that stopping bleeding should be a positive ((hugs)) fingers crossed

DartmoorDoughnut · 19/11/2018 13:25

I need maternity clothes too! I’m so bloated and I’m so short that both previous pregnancies I’ve looked full term at 6months! Never really found any maternity clothes I like hence why I need more Grin

TwittleBee · 19/11/2018 13:27

5fivestar how many weeks are you again? Could it be implantation bleeding? I had bleeding at 5 weeks which lasted a couple days. When i had my scan to check all was okay I was told that implantation bleeding can occur as late as 7 weeks. My sister even had it that late with her 1st pregnancy actually, she was really freaking out about how much she bled.

OP posts:
5fivestar · 19/11/2018 13:34

I’m 6 weeks, it’s definitely subsiding

5fivestar · 19/11/2018 13:36

Am seriously considering going to bed with my legs clamped shut. I hadn’t considered for a moment there was a chance if survival but the midwife phoned and said she’d test again in a week and I thought what for and she said it’s not out the question even with clots 😣
My head is frazzled now

ReginaPhalange89 · 19/11/2018 13:36

Fingers crossed for you fivestar!
