Oh @5fivestar hopeful for you. Go easy on yourself 💕💕💕

5fivestar · 19/11/2018 13:40

I feel like an idiot even hoping - DH will think I’ve lost the plot even more than normal

TwittleBee · 19/11/2018 13:42

i really really really am wishing you all the best 5fivestar ! so many FX for you that it isn't anything worrying

silverrose56 · 19/11/2018 13:43

Fingers crossed @5fivestar

I'm only 5"2 and I found Next the best for petite maternity clothing last time. I've been desperately avoiding going into maternity clothing so far but even my bigger pairs of jeans are now becoming too tight. I have started wearing my maternity pyjama bottoms which are under bump and absolute heaven as they don't dig in at all.

HchyScott · 19/11/2018 13:47

@5fivestar got everything crossed for you lovely.
Well I’m almost over the bug, had a few stitchey sort of pains which of course, when anxiety at night is worse, convince me that it means it’s an ectopic. During the day I can have a word with myself and calm down! I’ve had a cough so I’m sure I’ve pulled muscles abit and now veg tastes like metal to me, I’m constipated. Luckily orange juice and a ham salad wrap has sorted that out today.
With so few symptoms I just can’t believe I’m pregant so every tiny pain makes my mind work overtime. I’ve got the midwife next Wednesday so I’m hoping I can hold it together until I see her but it’s so hard. I’m too scared to even POAS just incase it’s a week line when I should be 7 nearly 8 weeks. Just living in some weird state of denial but waiting for it all to go wrong. Sorry for the long post but I’m just not sure what to do with myself!

HchyScott · 19/11/2018 13:48

Excuse the typos, can barely form sentences lol

SnailorSwift · 19/11/2018 14:00

@TwittleBee I'm here till half 4 so not too much longer thankfully. No chance of getting away though 😩 have meetings from 3 onwards which is the main reason I came in today.

Only Monday and I'm dreaming of the weekend already!

Laburna · 19/11/2018 14:21

There is a chance it's a lot of things that aren't a MC @5fivestar! If it's subsiding, it would sound unlike the MCs I've had. It's definitely worth resting and relaxing for a while if you can!

TwittleBee · 19/11/2018 14:35

Just realised, those who are due 31st July might not even be seeing BFPs yet as they will be only roughly 4 weeks (I've worked that out right yeah?!)

So strange how a few days in early days in pregnancy make such a massive difference!

SnailorSwift that is same time I am off. Hope it goes super quick for you!

ReginaPhalange89 · 19/11/2018 14:58

Yeah that's rihjt @twittlebee, I'm 4 weeks today and due date 29/7! I found out at 9dpo though so super early

ohmybaby · 19/11/2018 15:00

So sorry for the ladies who’ve MC, try and take time for you to process everything. Wishing you all the best Flowers

My nausea has well and truly hit. Felt great last week so here’s my penance!! Haha. Started off just afternoon now all day nausea. Can’t stomach anything that isn’t total junk (breakfast PB&J on toast, lunch chicken and chips). I’m usually a veggie & grains type, all about wholesome healthy food. Now I’m just like 🤢🤢 hell no. 7+1 today. Haven’t posted much as I find some messages a bit anxiety inducing (esp. as this is my first pregnancy and I have a tendency to overthink...! Boob soreness slightly abated but tiredness, indigestion, constipation and nausea raging 😂🥳 No actual sickness but I would’nt be surprised if it happens this week.

Any remedies out there!? Please don’t say ginger biscuits xx

TwittleBee · 19/11/2018 15:00

ReginaPhalange89 its so strange to think they are all waiting to POAS and see a BFP!

Hi all, can anyone start to feel there tummy getting harder ? I can when I’m stood up under my flabby bits lol, I’m a size 14/16 and carry most my weight round my tummy so still squeezing into a couple of pairs and trousers, jammies and tights.. still not had my first midwife appointment so still seems a bit unreal 8 plus 2 xx

ratherbeshowjumping · 19/11/2018 15:24

@ohmybaby sorry you're feeling so rough. I'm exactly the same - usually lovely and healthy, now I'm eating rubbish. I had pickled onions and edam for lunch Blush

Kentishgal · 19/11/2018 15:38

Got an assessment and scan booked for tomorrow morning. Eek. Absolutely hate that hospital so feel v nervous. More pink spotting this morning.

Stargazydrifter how did your scan go?

blueeyedviking · 19/11/2018 15:40

Hi everyone

I'm 7+6 based on my LMP and would love to join you guys? I'm due 2nd July and this is my first pregnancy.

I've been reading your thread for the last week, but not posted as still taking it all in. We haven't tried for that long so feel very lucky, but also quite guilty... In addition, the hubby is considering a job offer abroad so a lot is going on in our world at the moment.

Very sad to see the news from a few of you the last few days. I can't imagine what you are all going through. Sad

I'm having a mix of most symptoms, but very up and down. I'll put my details in the Google doc.

Nice to meet you all :)

BettySwoll0cks · 19/11/2018 15:49

Welcome @blueeyedviking and congrats on your pregnancy Smile

I've been given an appointment at the EPU on Friday morning for reassurance. I still feel really positive about this pregnancy so praying for some good news

Holty99 · 19/11/2018 16:06

Hi all,

5Fivestar - in my last (successful) pregnancy I had several major (i.e. bed flooding) bleeds, with clots. The first was after 6 weeks with more up to around 13 weeks. Sudden gushes which soaked a pad in minutes. Scans showed a clot behind the sac which was the cause.

I felt really sick at the back end of last week but feel mostly ok today so am now paranoid that that's a bad sign. 7 wk scan booked for Saturday so pretty nervous about that as the last 2 times have been bad news.

allthegoodnamesalreadytaken · 19/11/2018 16:38

@twinkleday I’m 8 weeks at the mo and can definitely feel hardening, I can no longer suck my tummy in either. Baby is the size of a raspberry but apparently we get two teaspoons of amniotic fluid per week so no doubt that’s all adding to the increase in size that's 16 tsps at the moment

I identify with the guilt everyone is feeling about the elder sibling being left out once newborn arrives. I also feel the opposite though in that I know i’m giving her the greatest gift possible. We went on holiday during the summer and all I could see everywhere were siblings playing together and I felt so bad for DD that she didn’t have that she was just stuck with us boring adults so I can’t wait to give that to her. I’m not planning to BF this time round (controversial decision I know) so that should hopefully free up some more time as I spent the first months physically attached to DD it felt like!

@holty I have first scan booked for saturday too. Fingers crossed for some good .

Good luck @kentishgal with your scan tomorrow

allthegoodnamesalreadytaken · 19/11/2018 16:39

Not sure why it's all bold i'm rubbish with technology 🙈

allthegoodnamesalreadytaken · 19/11/2018 16:45

This is lovely to read and will hopefully lift our spirits on a gloomy day

July 2019 Part 3 - Still in the 1st Trimester!
AIDE2424 · 19/11/2018 16:48

Hi can I jump on?

First Baby, found out Sunday and based on LMP I’m 4 weeks 5 days and due on the 24/07!

Exciting ❤️

Pickupthephone · 19/11/2018 16:49

Hi everybody, may I join? Congratulations and best of luck to all of you!

I’m 5+1 and due on 21 July 2019. It’s my first time - very excited but also terrifying. Got my booking appointment with midwife on 13 December when I’ll hopefully be a bit over 8 weeks.

It just feels like there’s sooo long to wait before I can tell people and properly let myself get excited!

Apologies if this has already been discussed but what are people planning to do with regards to telling work? It’s going to be tricky - I don’t really want to tell before the 12 week mark but its going to be so tricky, especially at this time of year - I’m going to have to skip all the Xmas parties and lunches because not drinking will out me in a second!

ratherbeshowjumping · 19/11/2018 16:56

Hi & Congrats to the newbies 🎉🎉🎉

@allthegoodnamesalreadytaken that's just made me cry, at work 🤣 absolutely incredible, thanks for sharing that 😍

blueeyedviking · 19/11/2018 16:58

Thank you @BettySwoll0cks 😁

@Holty99 I know its easy to worry, but im under the impsession that symptoms come and go all the time. Try and take it one day at the time. I'm noticing that my nausea is full on one day and then the next it's much less. But yeah, it's really hard to not stress about it.

Welcome and congrats @aide2424 & @pickupthephone
