Just starting a new one folks. Thread 2 was nearing its max 😊😊

Ive also been in bed all weekend with constant nausea and exhaustion. I too often feel dizzy when I stand up at the moment.
I've stocked up on ginger ale and I've ordered some travel bands to try.
Can't face work tomorrow feeling this awful! Xoxo

Just catching up on the thread now. Boy does it move fast!?

I'm joining the big boob brigade. But as a 32J in normal times, I'm finding myself reaching for my old maternity bras already as nothing else quite cuts the mustard!

We had a weekend away to celebrate dh's 40th this weekend. Had a full weekend of babysitting so was just lovely to have some quality us time. Although (as men do when you've got a weekend away...) dh got rather randy and I just did not want to do anything. I'm still to scared. I remember in previous pregnancies I'd always have spotting but now there's been too many losses so I'm being ultra cautious. Am I being crazy?

Added into that, I huffed cos I couldn't go in the hot tub at the hotel, I wanted to go to bed at 4pm, I couldn't get the pate starter and I couldn't chuck back the prosecco....

Anyone else drinking loads at the moment? I never usually get thirsty but I am knocking back the pints of squash this weekend!

7 + 4 today and struggling big time with nausea and vomiting!

We're still on honeymoon (me boking morning, noon and night has been so romantic...) I seem to get 2/3 good hours mid morning and the same again in the afternoon so I'm feeling happy about that!

We have a 5 hour flight tomorrow then 2 nights in San Francisco before a 10.5 hour flight home, which I am absolutely dreading because it's a night time flight and I feel horrendous in the evenings.

Really don't have much appetite at all but I am busting for homemade mashed potato, baked beans and Cookstown sausages (this is a very specific desire, has to be Cookstown, grilled and patted down with kitchen roll before I eat them so they're juicy on the inside but a bit dry and wrinkly on the outside) I realise I sound a bit mad but you have no idea what I'd do for that meal right now.

I'm hoping all this means baby is doing well in there!

Hope everyone else is doing ok today and those with UTIs get sorted quickly!!

7+5 today and somebody really needs to sew my mouth up. I'm constantly eating to combat nausea all day then about 6pm it turns extreme and eating doesn't even help so I throw up until about 8pm and then I'm starving again. I need help I'm going to be huge😒.
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

Am 8+2 today and I feel so sick sick sick and DIZZY! Never had this with DC1&2.

Taking Spatone, Folic Acid, Vit C and still feel bollocks. It’s starting to affect how I’m being with the other DCs and it’s getting me down.

Gonna book in for a private scan this week locally as I want to make sure that if everything is ok in there there’s only one...and to know early doors if it’s not ok as I’ve been there before.

@Littleray84 I'm in the same boat. Did the same with DS and weirdly didn't actually put on much weight as it levelled off in the second trimester. (Came back again in the final week but let's not worry about that yet).

@PaulHollywoodsSexGut how funny you didn't have it with your first two! Are they the same sex? Maybe this one is different! I'm having a near-identical pregnancy so I'm suspecting another boy.

@paulhollywoodssexgut @ toasterstrudle is weird isn't it. I didn't have this with my 2 either, although my youngest is 11 so I'm putting it down to being older.

I've got my first midwife appointment this morning so I'll see if she has any pearls of wisdom to depart.

After my inconclusive scan on Saturday, I've had a bit of pain and a tiny tiny amount of bleeding. Going to call the EPU today.

Your trust will likely send the 12w appointment to you at the same time as they send you the details for the booking in. If not, check at the booking in you actually have a 12w appointment!

Hello all. I thought I'd join in now I feel slightly less in shock. I'm pregnant with my first. 9 weeks today. Symptoms pretty minimal - hungry, ridiculous bloat, bit windy, growing pains, very very mild nausea when I'm overly hungry. I guess not so minimal - but the lack of serious soreness in my boobs and the lack of serious nausea are a blessing I think. As long as they're not a sign of any problems.

I live overseas so all healthcare is private. Have had 3 scans - because we were travelling long haul and worried there may have been a problem and wanted to check there wasn't. Scans all feel a bit OTT but nice to have put my mind to rest. Now it's just our usual scans - they do them every month here. Otherwise all is well so far.

OMG. Should have said, DD June 10th at the moment. Doh.

@coastergirl Oh no, how worrying that must be. Fingers crossed that it's nothing serious and you get seen at epu ASAP.

Those having similar/diff pregnancy symptoms- I have one of each and their pregnancies were v.similar. This one also similar but feel more exhausted (probably because I'm running around after two this time!)

Had gender scans previously- aiming to hold out for a surprise this time around! Hopefully I can have the discipline to do it!

Just back from a trip to Sainsbury's to buy salt and vinegar crisps and full fat coke to try and combat the nausea. Had to bite my lip really hard to stop myself from vomiting. The walk home was also a challenge. I was carrying a huge Tu order which I stupidly forgot to get hubby to collect on the weekend, so couldn't walk very fast. It's rubbish day and all I could smell was the rubbish trucks, even though I only ever passed one.

I need to add myself to the list but not sure how to to that on my phone (I don't use the app). If anyone could kindly do it for me I'd be most grateful.

Madeincornwall that’s a good point about finding out the sex. So, to distract us from feeling so awful who is going to find out the sex and who is going to wait? With dd I was desperate to know and couldn’t imagine waiting to find out but this time I’m not sure as I like the idea of looking forward to finding out when they’re born. But then it’s so much easier to know for buying stuff in preparation but now we’ve had dd we’ll just be using all her stuff initially anyway so I’m not sure that’ll make a difference this time.

Today I’ve acrually been able to eat cornflakes and chips with ketchup. It feels so nice to have something I can actually stomach atm.

Thanks @MadeInCornwallx3 I've got a scan on Wednesday morning. Hopefully they'll be able to see more with it probably being internal. Just have to keep my fingers crossed until then I guess.

Re finding out the sex (if I get that far). With my little boy I really wanted to wait, partly because that's what I've always said I would do. The thing is I had horrendous antenatal depression and really thought I didn't want him 😢 I was also desperate for him to be a boy. We had a 4D scan at 30 weeks and the lady let slip that she knew the sex, and we caved. With hindsight it was the best thing we did. It made so much difference to how I felt. I got excited from that point. Whether it's because he was a boy or I just felt more able to bond once knowing the sex, I don't know. But this time I can't wait to find out.
