Yes my nausea hits in the afternoon mainly and sometimes in the night. I feel hungover today and it's horrible. Keeping hydrated with ginger ale xoxo

Kescilly · 03/11/2018 09:20

I’m sure it’s different for everyone, try not to worry until you get there!

All being well, I’d love to take the baby back to visit family. But I don’t know if we’d be into flu season by then and if it would be a bad idea.

Good luck with your scan today, @MadeInCornwallx3!

fee1234 · 03/11/2018 09:22

@Mrsssmith11 yes!! Mine is so bad by evening I have to force myself to sleep. Feel bad as last night my boyfriend wanted me to sit up and chat while he had some wine but I just couldn't. Hope it passes in a few weeks

Napssavelives · 03/11/2018 09:29

@Reastiepeace I haven’t done any exercise for about a wel either. Pre pregnancy I ran 3-4 days a week, around 20 miles a week.
I feel so ill st the moment I can’t even comprehend getting out the door

coastergirl · 03/11/2018 11:33

My scan this morning was fairly inconclusive. Should be 7+3 by lmp but I wasn't sure because I wasn't back to normal after the miscarriage. She could see the gestational sac and yolk sac, but not much else. Have to go back in a week.

MadeInCornwallx3 · 03/11/2018 12:50

Just back from scan. Measuring bang on 9 weeks (I reckoned 8+6) and a strong heartbeat.

Little legs and arms twitching away!

Very happy

Naps I really miss workouts and being able to. I’m looking forward to feeling less nauseous so I can do some exercise.

Reastiepeace · 03/11/2018 12:56

Madeincornwall that’s fantastic news :)

Coaster thatmust be a worry but you weren’t sure of dates and they can’t always see hb early on so hopefully you’ll have a lovely hb next week. Must feel like an age to wait in the mean time though.

toasterstrudle · 03/11/2018 13:32

@coastergirl I'm sure it'll just be that your dates are wrong, I know it'll feel like a long week but fingers crossed all is well at the next scan.

@MadeInCornwallx3 lovely scan!

MadeInCornwallx3 · 03/11/2018 13:34

@coastergirl Also hoping you get to see a heartbeat next week. If you are unsure of dates I'm sure that's the case! Good news to see the sac and yolk though!

Fabuluce · 03/11/2018 15:25

Great news Cornwall, what a relief!

Coaster, how are you feeling? A week will feel like an absolute age but am keeping everything crossed it's a dating issue rather than anything more serious. X

fee1234 · 03/11/2018 16:19

Crazy scan lady strikes again... promising myself that will be me until I get my 12 week one in a few weeks.

Measuring bang on around 9+2 and saw it wiggling away which freaked me out a bit! Crazy to see it moving.

Love these scan pics! I'm back at EPU on Monday at 7&6, hoping to see something after just seeing a yolk sack at 5&6 and the sonographer being very pessimistic. Had a bit more brown spotting since but no more pain and symptoms are all still there. The sickness has kicked in a treat after I was thinking how lucky I was to not have any! Hmm

jacquejacque · 03/11/2018 17:51

Need to catch up properly but lovely to see those scan pics! My 12 week scan letter came through today, I haven't even had my booking in appointment yet! I'm 8+2 today and ventured out to mothercare with my mum to get a couple of bits to tide us over until we feel brave enough to really go for it. Felt very real!

LivingOnAPear · 03/11/2018 18:46

I’m still feeling really sick too and really want to be well enough to function again and go back to exercising. Feeling rubbish.

Someone asked about the harmony test. I’m only having it because I’m 40 so I was worried that my age would push up the probability on the combined test. I’m quite anxious so would rather just get confirmation that everything is ok by 12 weeks (hopefully) rather than it dragging out.

Also thinking of a holiday but have had to rule out loads of places due to Zika virus so might be heading to canaries too.

CollyWombles · 03/11/2018 23:32

Evening all, lovely to see so many scan pictures!

I have been wearing travel bands for two days now, non stop and my nausea is definitely more manageable! So relieved!

I did another clear blue digital and got 3+ still, it's taking ages to my next scan on the 13th, ten more days. Feels like a lifetime.

coastergirl · 04/11/2018 01:54

Sorry I can't remember who asked and it's not that easy going back on my phone, but I'm ok. Feeling a bit deflated after the scan. I really felt like things were different this time with the tiredness, boobs being agony and ligament pains. So an inconclusive scan was disappointing.

It must be really nice to be thinking about holidays, even with the worry of Zika. I couldn't afford a weekend in Blackpool right now

Napssavelives · 04/11/2018 05:39

I should be thankful reallt that the sickness isn’t as intense last night and this morning. I’ve felt so rotten all week. Instead in worried!

Peanut1980 · 04/11/2018 06:39

Hi everyone. I’m new to this group. Hope to stay on here for a while. I’m 6 weeks 5. I have a 5 year old son conceived easily naturally. We’re trying for baby number 2. I’m pregnant through IVF. I had a scan at 6 weeks 3 days. They could see a fetal pole and what she thought was the start of a heartbeat but she wasn’t sure. I measured at 6 weeks but we’re pretty sure I implanted late. I’m booked in for another scan on Friday of next week. I’ve cried A LOT fearing the worst. I’ve booked myself in for a private scan somewhere else on Tuesday just to see if they can find a heartbeat. I’ll be 7 weeks then 🤞🤞🤞🙏🙏🙏

Peanut1980 · 04/11/2018 06:51

@coastergirl good luck to you. We’re in the same boat although we’re confident of my dates as it was IVF x

coastergirl · 04/11/2018 06:55

@Peanut1980 good luck to you too x

Fabuluce · 04/11/2018 07:57

Peanut, my clinic has always said under 7 weeks is too early to scan as you run the risk of not seeing a heartbeat and all the associated horrible stress involved. Keeping everything crossed for you. I'm also an IVFer. Well done for getting this far. It's not easy is it. X

Stormwhale · 04/11/2018 08:05

Hey has anyone been told they have a uti at all? I'm wondering if I might have one. I have been having some weird pains over the last couple of days, almost like an irritated scraped feeling in my lower abdomen. It seems to be worse when I need to pee and I sometimes still feel like I need to go Once I have peed. Sorry tmi. It's not burning when I go or anything, but the uncomfortable feeling is bad enough it is stopping me getting to sleep. Does this sound like a uti or water infection of some sort? I'm not sure if I should just wait and drop a sample in to the gp tomorrow or call for an out of hours appointment.

I would speak to my midwife but I still haven't got one at 9+5!

gimmeadoughnut123 · 04/11/2018 08:11

Checking in - I'm 7+1 :) currently feeling very nauseous a lot but haven't actually thrown up (hooray). Experiencing a lot of food aversions, and my boobs have shot up to a 38F ALREADY (god help me).

gimmeadoughnut123 · 04/11/2018 08:13

@Stormwhale have you had your booking appt yet? You can have them from 8 weeks to get yourself a midwife. I used to get UTIs a lot and would experience a dull ache in my abdomen and pain when weeing. I would also wee a lot but you do this in pregnancy anyway. I'd give your GP a ring.
