Just starting a new one folks. Thread 2 was nearing its max 😊😊

Good news on all the scans! Hope those unlucky with the nausea start feeling better soon.

Still haven’t heard anything re: nuchal testing so hoping for good results in the mail.

Re "announcing" we waited until I was 37 weeks last time to put anything in social media, though of course those we saw and were actual IRL friends with knew before then! In 3 years a lot has changed with how I/most people I know use Facebook etc and I don't know how I feel about posting even about birth now...DP vetoes me posting pics of DD apart from very occasionally so I don't know where we will land on this.
Told our parents today though which was emotional! All by phone as we are in another country to DP's family, and though we saw my family yesterday we wanted to have the scan first. Will only tell nieces and nephews after getting test results back though.

Ok so I just got my pic back from the nub techs, they think it's a boy!

What is this nub tech business?

@Bigonesmallone3 yes I have a gender scan booked for Xmas eve! Dying to know.

@sk17 explains it more here www.thenubtechs.com but they basically analyse the angle of the 'nub' which is the beginning of the genitals, and line it up with the bladder in relation to the spine, and if it's over 30 degrees angle it's a boy and less it's a girl. They sent quite a detailed report with it too!

How exciting, il be looking out for the announcement.. I have my 12 week scan next week at 12+3. I won't be finding out the sex this time as I have a girl and a boy but il put the pic out there for any nub experts :)

I'm totally with everyone that wants to avoid a public announcement on social media - I only want to tell people I care about, and I only want to tell them in person which means some won't know for several months. I live in fear of some of my in laws (mainly dh aunts) announcing it on Facebook and ruining the surprise/making it public knowledge!

@fee1234 and @toomanyflatwhites congratulations on your scans.. you must be so relieved. Looking forward to mine on Thursday. Has anyone else got one this week?

Can't quite believe I said yes to finding out the sex today - so will know in 2 weeks thanks to the harmony test, eeek!! I always said I would never ever find out and DP thought I was mad, and now I have changed my mind. Don't want to tell people we know though...am wondering if that's going to work??

I'm actively bleeding watery red blood and tiny clots now. Off to A&E when DH and DM get here. Can't believe this is happening to me again.

Thinking of you @jacquejacque some people have some bleeding throughout their pregnancy and all is fine. Fingers crossed everything will be OK xx

That must be so scary @jacquejacque. But after everything else before, you had a good scan, so I’m really hoping for the best here. We are all waiting with you.

Thank you all for waiting with me. I'm home now, they saw me fairly quickly but couldn't do much as it's late and EPU is closed, they've referred me for an emergency scan so just have to wait until somebody calls me tomorrow with an appointment. I'm not in any pain, but I think my last mc started off quite mildly too so I'm not getting my hopes up. Feel totally numb to be honest.
