Hi mumof4!

TA, you are accruing a fan base!

Yes! The Girl Who Cried Contraction!! LOL

Mumof4 - it is all very exciting!!

They all are a bit gay! LOL!!!

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 21:19

God, my dp is very anal about things matching! He will only wear workshirts with cufflinks and the cufflinks have to co-ordinate with the shirt and tie and he has specific suits that he wears with brown and black shoes etc.! He is very clean and tidy (except when dossing at the weekends) and has to iron everything! Funny little man!

foxybrown · 17/06/2007 21:20

Mumof4 - a question if I may? Did your DH need any persuasion to get the snip, and if so how did you manage it?

trendaverter · 17/06/2007 21:21

bumper, Holly good lord are you sure they aren't poofs?
I can't get DH to buy a new pair of shoes unless the sole is worn through on the last pair.

JBM I don't mind people looking at my blog as long as it's kept a bit anon
Blog

(todays entry is a bit depressing, I wrote it this morning)

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 21:22

Just think Ta, the more false alarms you have, the more the contractions are helping you to dilate and soften and the shorter your labour will be!

daisyboo · 17/06/2007 21:25

JBM.......Natty's blog .....but she hasn't updated since Ellen was born.

I've sent her a couple of text messages recently and not had a reply...I hope she is OK.

doggus · 17/06/2007 21:26

When I first met dh, I was convinced he was gay. He has a slight lisp, is terribly softly spoken and a feminist (as far as men can be). He hates all sport except tennis. Women flock to him because he listens and empathises, so at a party he is always to be found in a corner with about 7 women bleating about how their husbands don't understand them. He asks women about themselves, which is quite rare.

On the flip side, he is rampantly hetrosexual, fancies Pamela Anderson, has a porn collection and is the most dreadful bitch.

And his farts are appalling.

foxybrown · 17/06/2007 21:26

TA - does he simply slip a beer-mat into his shoe and hey-presto, as new!!

What has happened to Natty?????!

trendaverter · 17/06/2007 21:26

Hi Mumof4! I am trying not to get excited

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 21:27

I'm going to bed now, I have terrible back ache and need to lie down! I have been working very hard today and need to rest!

Love you all, goodnight xxx

bumperlicious · 17/06/2007 21:28

TA, I think it's my influence and having been bought up around very strong women! I do tell him that I wouldn't be surprised if he was gay. He doesn't really have blokey friends either, but I am relieved that more recently he's been going off with some mates to watch footy and go climbing and stuff.

To be fair, when I met him he had the most gawdawful dress sense and two pairs of trainers that were identical! But then I introduced him to H&M and River Island and he's never looked balc!

OP posts:
foxybrown · 17/06/2007 21:28

Well, the second part is a ringer for my DP! But he loves sport, is a bit of a chauvanist, but goes out and drinks Cava with his mates!

trendaverter · 17/06/2007 21:28

goodnight Holly xx

foxybrown · 17/06/2007 21:29

I wish I could go to bed, but better wait up for my dear family.

Night Holly.

I'm signing off too. Got chronic HB. Night all xx

doggus · 17/06/2007 21:30

Foxy - CAVA?!

mumof4aceboys · 17/06/2007 21:30

Hi guys - my man is all man! He's still in the garden at the moment building a climbing frame for my 4! Only time he goes gay is when he's sat on the loo and he reads my woman magazine! I am lucky in that he sees it that Ive done my bit by carrying 4 so was quite willing to do the bits. Also, I would be daft enough to keep having kids endlessly and he knew that! We didn't plan on having 4 kids though and he was going to arrange the snip after our 3rd but then I discovered I was 12 weeks gone with a 4th! He could't get there fast enough! He claims it wasnt too bad.

doggus · 17/06/2007 21:31

God I think I should go to bed too - I have just read that Foxy is waiting for her deaf family.

Sleep well H&A, foxy...

bumperlicious · 17/06/2007 21:31

Doggus, my DH is pretty softly spoken too. People often think he is shy, but he just likes to sit back and soak up the atmosphere and only say stuff when he has something interesting to say! But he does get on better with women for the most part.

It was funny though when we first got our BFP he said his balls literally felt bigger! And he does have a very blokey habit of leaving pants and sock all over the house!

OP posts:
trendaverter · 17/06/2007 21:31

OOh I love the DH chat!

No beer coasters in the shoes, he just wears them with holes in. Seriously.

When I first got my hands on him he looked just like Igon from ghostbusters, but I did some manscaping and he looks a lot better now.

He's not in the slightest gay but nor is he rampantly hetero. He fancies Kirstie Allsop, more the thinking mans totty.

For our first date he took me to McDonalds.

Not gay.

doggus · 17/06/2007 21:32

Hi mumof4 - you are very lucky on the building/flat pack front - we have to call someone in for all that.

justbeme · 17/06/2007 21:33

Thanks for the blog stuff girls!! very interesting
TA - you have a good sense of humour!!

My DP? When I met him, he lived alone - his house was very tidy and had many "trinkets" - wooden flowers in vases and wooden ornaments!! After we moved in together, Im very proud of myself for becoming a magician and making most of them disappear!! (we've still got a few things but hey theres still time...)

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 21:33

Lol at our queer dp/dhs!! On a hot day my dp likes nothing better than a nice white wine spritzer! Fucking queen! I'm sat there with my pint of stella and he's there with his bird drink! It's very funny!

He does, however, love football more than is healthy and fancies loads of girlies, so I don't actually think he is gay (often)!!

doggus · 17/06/2007 21:34

Bumper - everyone thinks my dh is shy too, but like yours he listens a lot and then speaks.

TA - pissing myself having just looked up Egon of Ghostbusters! Did he have the slightly bouffant hair?

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 21:34

Right, I'm off, night all xx
