Night Daisy - speak tomorrow, tomorrow is a new day xx

bumperlicious · 17/06/2007 20:38

So TA - do you have any plans for this week? (Apart from having a baby!)

OP posts:
trendaverter · 17/06/2007 20:46

hmmm not really, kept my diary free because I expected to be a bit busy

Mum is (probably) coming over tomorrow, we usually have fun, probably grab a pub lunch and do a bit of shopping...

hmmm daily monitoring at hospital...

Walking the dog, need to cut DH's hair, obsessively tidying the house (this is normal), writing my blog (which I have been told is like losing 10 minutes of your life that you can never get back), watching tv, and being induced friday if nothing happens before!
Same old shit, different week.

Yourself?

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 20:46

Evening everyone! I have just been a complete spanner and smashed a plate on my foot! One of my dp's special plates (he is a complete bird about his kitchen ware) and now my foot is bleeding! I have just spent half an hour sweeping and cleaning blood off the kitchen floor! Nice!

Daisy, so sorry you are feeling really shitty. The lack of sleep really does it to you doesn't it?! I'm sure we will all be in the same position together in a couple of weeks! (((HUGS)))

TA glad you are feeling better about the whole induction thing. Even if you are induced on fri it will be so much more likely to work and you will have a birth much more like the one you want!

justbeme · 17/06/2007 20:46

Hi Bumper and TA!

Glad youre feeling positive TA - by friday - wont you be over by 19 days or am i just crap at maths??

God, Ive been so down again today...Im fed up with this and this baby is SOOOOO active and it hurts sometimeswhen it kicks. I dont know if I do have thrush or a urine infection - ive had thrush and cystitus b4 and it seems to be abit between the two - sort of dull ache in my fanjo.

Is Ria the only one that gets a home visit from a MW - and on a sunday?? Never heard of that b4.

Am watching Connie on itv - she's very sweet - only 6. Imagine being her parents!!

bumperlicious · 17/06/2007 20:51

Justbeme - I have the same thing. Dr said thrush, not UTI but that was Thursday and been using all kinds of stuff and still feels achy and sore. Not had either before so not sure what the problem is. Wish it would go away though!

OP posts:
trendaverter · 17/06/2007 20:51

JBM - have you seen a GP? You'll want it sorted so it doesn't get passed on.
Sometimes my little one hurts when it kicks, esp on the inside of my belly button, I think it's pretty normal (unfortunately)

Holly, DOH!
It could only happen to you
I also think you are right, if I went in today to be induced all anxious I daresay it would not have been a good experience.

trendaverter · 17/06/2007 20:53

JBM, bumper, this is going to sound gross but not long ago I had thrush SO BAD it actually ulcerated and I thought I had herpes!

GP said it was just really nasty thrush.
Don't underextimate how nasty it is!

She prescribed me something called Gyno-daktarin (or something) which sorted me out in 3 days. Canesten cream on its own is pants.

bumperlicious · 17/06/2007 20:54

Ouch Holly, hope your foot is ok. Did you have to clear up yourself ?

TA, I've got yoga on tuesday, I'm having some girls over tuesday night, midwife wednesday. Spending a lot of time on MN, that's mostly my plan!

OP posts:
justbeme · 17/06/2007 20:54

No havent seen gp - may call tomorrow - but to get an appointment same day is almost impossible - have MW on wednesday though.

Oh dear Holly - your going to be in the dog house!! Hope your foots ok. Blame it on the bump getting in the way!!

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 20:55

Yes it was a bit DOH! I was just stood in the same spot in the kitchen for about 5 mins thinking "shit, shit, shit"!! There was shattered china everywhere and my foot was bleeding all over the floor. I wasn't sure what to do. It is all sorted now though, but my foot hurts!

So glad you are feeling good about your choice TA. How is your doggy btw?

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 20:56

I cleared it up myself coz I was scared of getting told off by dp!! It was ok though he didn't mind! He is ever so precious about his china, maybe he is gay !

trendaverter · 17/06/2007 20:58

Must be hard cleaning up feet and blood so heavily PG!!
Are you ok now?

Bumper that sounds good, wish I had some RL girlfriends that I could have a girly night with. Some nice things to look forward to anyway

My pooch is back to his usual rambunctious bastard self but I wouldn't have him any other way

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 21:01

Glad your dog is ok TA and back to being crazy! Crazy dogs are the best!

I think my foot is ok, it has stopped bleeding, but I can't really see the cut and dp won't look at it!

trendaverter · 17/06/2007 21:02

ummmm

I'm contracting every 6 ish minutes again.

It usually means nothing as we all know so don't hold your breath.

trendaverter · 17/06/2007 21:03

Holly you need to sort him out, give him a smart slap and tell him to attend your wound

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 21:06

He is a pussy!!

Ok TA I won't get excited, but I really, really hope this is something kicking off! Fingers, but not legs, crossed xxx

bumperlicious · 17/06/2007 21:07

Right TA, have you tried everything you can to help it along?

Sex? (If you can't face it apparently even just an orgasm will help - can DH oblige?) Nipple stimulation? RLT? Bouncing on a ball?

Fingers crossed!

foxybrown · 17/06/2007 21:07

LOL - everyone's husband does something a bit 'gay' - we regularly have 'whose husband is the most gay' conversation!

shhhh, TA! stop it! I can't stand it any longer!!!

Does anyone else wake up in the morning thinking "I wonder if TA has had her baby in the night?"!!

justbeme · 17/06/2007 21:09

Me!! Im her text buddy - so i go to my phone 1st thing!! LOL

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 21:11

Mine is ever so gay! It's very funny! I listen to some of the conversations he has with his mates, it's hilarious! They call each other treacle and sweetheart and tell each other they love them! These are all family men with children and wives/girlfriends and very straight! I do worry about the little gay boy sometimes!

justbeme · 17/06/2007 21:12

TA, would you rather keep your blog "private" or will you tell us where we can read it??
I like reading peoples blogs...
What was the address of oh.... was it natalies? no.. cant remember - pg brain has hit again..

mumof4aceboys · 17/06/2007 21:14

Ive only just joined in on another thread 2day but cant wait to find out how she goes on ive stopped having babies now - my oldest is 6, then a 5 year ols, then a 20 month old and then an 8 month old. Hubby went 4 snip during last pregnancy but I still find it all very exciting!

bumperlicious · 17/06/2007 21:15

Reasons why my DH may be gay:

  1. He reads celebrity trashy magazines and comes home saying "did you see that picture of Charlotte Church?"

  2. He genuinely doesn't appear to fancy celebrities, whereas I need two hands to count all the men I fancy!

  3. He is very clean (not that I am complaining)

  4. He said to me a while ago "you know if we had lots of money I could really see myself being a shoe man"

  5. He is very good at helping me decide what to wear/what shoes go with my outfit.

  6. He likes Will & Grace, and the House of Elliott

Though he does refuse pint blank to wear moisturiser!

trendaverter · 17/06/2007 21:15

You guys do make me laugh!

I can still talk through them so don't get excited, I probably shouldn't have said anything, I am known as the girl that cries contraction

My DH is not gay in the slightest, he is a nerd and has godawful dress sense and has no clue about anything.
