Haha that video @pancakes22

Onestep2 · 08/11/2018 20:03

@stargazydrifter ohhh that is so horrible!! No wonder you were upset! There is a big difference between the two. You would think they would know not to be so insensitive

Twistering · 08/11/2018 20:05

@StargazyDrifter WTAF!!!! That is absolutely awful! It’s bad enough they’d think it’s ok to comment that someone had had an abortion, let alone what you went through!

kayakingmum · 08/11/2018 20:08

I'll tentatively join the club :)
He or she will be no. 2

SnailorSwift · 08/11/2018 20:16

Hi @kayakingmum 👋🏻 when are you due?

itsallgreek · 08/11/2018 20:24

Oh god these nurses Iand receptionist have given me the rage Angry

I also started progesterone today and iron supplements with my folic acid was given a bloody huge sack of things to take and thought that would be for like half of my pregnancy but no just a months worth 😲

I went for my blood test and got the results back HTC levels at 18000 so in general very good, I count that I'm 40 days and a site I found said that heartbeat doesn't start until 42 43 days so am much more optimistic about waiting until next Wednesday to get another scan....

StargazyDrifter · 08/11/2018 21:18

That's great itsallgreek! Nice hCG result. Have you got to go back to the doctor who likes hurty boobies, or have you switched? 👨🏻‍⚕️

I got my booking appointment and 12 week scan dates today. Suddenly feeling a lot more positive somehow.

StargazyDrifter · 08/11/2018 21:28

Btw how do you count the days - from day 1 of cycle or from ovulation day? My app says I'm 38 days... confused me a bit!

Laburna · 08/11/2018 21:45

My app says 6w3d and 45 days, so from LMP I'm guessing?

pancakes22 · 08/11/2018 22:09

Yes agree LMP.

(Although I do have a weekly argument with DH when I tell him how many weeks I am as he cannot get his head around the fact it is not done from conception date and believes he is completely right! Highly frustrating!)

Softkitty28 · 08/11/2018 22:10

Hi everyone! Can I join? I am currently 5+1 and estimated due date is 10th July. It’s my first and I still can’t quite believe it! Feeling a bit anxious as I haven’t really had any symptoms (I know I shouldn’t complain!). Seeing GP next week, I have to go via GP to get referred to midwife. We’re considering an early private scan...I’m currently peeing on sticks at every opportunity!! Blush

DianaBlythe · 08/11/2018 22:30

I’m shocked at that giving blood experience. How rude and awful.

Looks like we might fill before I wake up in the morning. Not sure what the etiquette is but took the liberty of giving us a new thread:

DianaBlythe · 08/11/2018 22:34

Welcome @softkitty28. I’m still intermittently peeing on sticks too. 6+0 today and booked an early scan at the fertility clinic next week.

SnailorSwift · 08/11/2018 22:43

Hi @Softkitty28 welcome!

Was just thinking the same @DianaBlythe thanks for sorting a new thread 🤗

I'm feeling miserable, full of the cold, starving but struggling to eat. Have basically been living off meal replacement shakes and toast 😫

Brainfried1986 · 09/11/2018 06:46

Need some advice ladies - yesterday I started getting a sore shoulder. It feels like it’s slightly out of place, as if I jarred it at some point (which I don’t remember doing, but I do have a toddler so I might have) and doesn’t hurt unless I move it. My instinct is that it is more to do with relaxin & ligament stretching than a sign of ectopic, but I don’t want to ignore it if it could be an indicator of something more sinister... What would you do? Call the gp to be on the safe side? Anyone with any history of this?

TwittleBee · 09/11/2018 06:49

Call 111 if getting GP apps are hard to get where you live, if not then yeah book in to see GP. 111 told me to see my GP via an emergency app. Hope it's all okay Brainfried1986

I've moved to the new thread set up by DianaBlythe

This thread only has a couple messages left in it

LouiseD2018 · 09/11/2018 09:22

Sad to say I'm out for July.

I was so optimistic I can't quite believe it happened. I started bleeding Wednesday night, very heavy it felt twice as heavy as period. Retested last night & negative.

Hospital said it appears to be chemical pregnancy & as long as test is negative no cause for concern - I was relieved at that I just kept having flashbacks of being rushed into surgery in June, I couldn't have faced that again.

I'm disappointed of course, but for me given the experience if the pregnancy had to end because something wasn't right this is the way I prefer it to be.

I'm not going to actively try for a little while, need to give my heart a break.

Wish you all luck for the rest of your pregnancies xx

TwittleBee · 09/11/2018 09:39

LouiseD2018 oh i am so sorry lovely Flowers i really hope you are able to take it easy during this horrid time and that you get lucky again straight away and see a lovely sticky bean and a healthy pregnancy and birth

itsallgreek · 09/11/2018 10:32

@StargazyDrifter after getting my test results and speaking to a midwife she tells me it's normal and I should go back for my already booked scan at my doctor who's thrilled with hurty boobies (seems that's the best symptom to have that proves I'm still pregnant) in Wednesday the 14th to see heart activity and get the final OK that I have a successful pregnancy...

I feel much better having taking things into my own hands and getting tested and speaking to other doctors to make sure mine was doing things right

@LouiseD2018 oh darling I'm so sorry... I wish you all the rest and wellbeing you can get at this time and hope everything works out for you in the end

Frazzlerock · 09/11/2018 10:38

@LouiseD2018 I am so very sorry xxx

ohmybaby · 09/11/2018 10:52

Welcome @kayakingmum and @Softkitty28! Will also move over to new thread now.

@louised2018 sending you hugs and healing thoughts Flowers take time for you. Wishing you all the best.

CLSMammy · 09/11/2018 18:13

I'm now 4+2 and due 18th July! Very excited but don't believe it yet and still expecting blood when I go to the toilet! Does anyone else feel like this? Really nice to see a post like this for support. I think because it is so early I still feel like a fraud and that I can't talk about it even to my (very supportive) husband. I'm not sure when I'll accept it and stop wanting to pee on sticks to double check!

HSapr · 09/11/2018 18:16

Hey @CLSMammy welcome! I am feeling exactly the same!! And we have similar due dates. I thought mine was 20/07 but just looked at a calculator in the pack from the doctors which says 18/07 so snap! I've POAS twice already today!

We have actually moved onto a second thread as this was too long. Head over to thread 2 and there's plenty of updates and support I'm already finding invaluable x
