*Capybaras sensible thinking really as MW will be seeing other pregnant people. Frustrating for you though! Maybe see if she could be about for just a phone chat?

TwittleBee · 06/11/2018 09:29

Frazzlerock hahah thats what I look like too!

Frazzlerock · 06/11/2018 09:31

I can't hold it in! It doesn't change shape if I try.

This is my 5th pregnancy though...

Beckanne90 · 06/11/2018 10:00

Sorry to hear about the bleeds; I had one Friday but then it stopped and the test I did day after was loads stronger so I think it may have just been settling in. It’s scary to see though.

Aww frazzlerock; that’s cute...I just feel like I’m holding retention everywhere. I don’t usually get an obvious bump, I kept my last pregnancy a secret until 29 weeks and then went into labour at 30. I’m intrigued to see if I get a bigger bump this time.

amanda2809 · 06/11/2018 10:58

@Beckanne90 that is impressive!!

I'm a fattybumbum so people couldn't tell I was pregnant really until the end. Although I did lose weight whilst pregnant. From bfp to the week before DS was born, I only gained 1lb! Hoping for the same this time, I rejoined slimming world last week!

StargazyDrifter · 06/11/2018 11:29

I'm with you on the bloat, ladies! Woke up at night because my pyjama bottoms were pressing into the bloat too much. I know what you mean about not beaning able to suck it in, Frazzle! Definitely my least favourite symptom.

Fingers crossed for you itsallgreek and hope you're nice and comfy at home today.

On apps, I've had them all but have got rid of all but one - Grow. The pregnancy+ one had far too much going on for me and I didn't love all the content on BabyCentre. I also noticed the differences in supposed size (lentil, blueberry etc) and slight difference in dates and that made me all confused. I've also now got rid of the BellyBump app for photos of your bump, too much faff and I'm just going to do them on my phone. Reading that back, maybe I'm just a little grumpy this week!

Today I'm less nauseous but quite a lot of pulling going on in my tummy. Also getting more thirsty. Still really tired despite a decent amount of sleep.

Brainfried1986 · 06/11/2018 12:19

Urgh, feeling properly rough today - knackered and stomach not happy. Not been sick but not getting any satisfaction from eating. Can’t wait until ds’s nap so I can collapse on the sofa. Every little thing is exhausting, particularly walking upstairs! Feels so pathetic! DH is away for work for 48 hours now so I’ve got to find the energy to look after ds by myself...praying for a couple of good nights 🙏

allthegoodnamesalreadytaken · 06/11/2018 12:23

That’s some impressing bloating ladies! I constantly look about 5 months pregnant anyway so no one will be able to tell for a while😁

@Laburna that made me laugh your DS sounds like quite a character

I really like the What to Expect app especially the little videos it does for each week of pregnancy

Had my first maternity related appointment today which was a booking appointment for bloods, all very straightforward at the local children’s centre. Have the midwife booking appt on saturday morning at home so that should be interesting with a toddler hanging about! Nausea has well and truly hit here bang on 6 weeks. Feeling rubbish and food only seems to help for 5 mins. Didn’t get this at all when I was pregnant with DD. I’ve also completely gone off any kind of sweet food. I’m usually a sweet fiend who has dessert with lunch and dinner but the thought of it now is enough to make me hurl. Getting very specific cravings today. Really really wanted a shepherds pie but couldn’t summon the energy to actually cook it so found myself a nice greasy spoon type cafe locally and ordered one there it’s totally hit the spot.

CollyWombles · 06/11/2018 12:56

Hi ladies, I'm on the June 2019 thread but due around 28th June so thought I should maybe be on here too or instead! Everyone seems miles ahead of me on the June thread. I was expecting identical twins but found out at my scan today that one hadn't made it, so now expecting a single baby and I am 6 weeks 4 days today with a strong heartbeat of 140!

This will be my fifth baby, I have 4 DC at the moment aged 13,12,9 and 8. This will be my husband's 1st baby.

I hope it's okay to join!

Beckanne90 · 06/11/2018 12:59

Hi collywombles, I currently have 5..this one is my 6th.

allthegoodnamesalreadytaken · 06/11/2018 12:59

welcome @CollyWombles that's so sad about your twins but really positive that the other twin survived and is doing well. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.x

CollyWombles · 06/11/2018 13:03

It's so nice to find other mums of multiples! It's been 9 years since I was last pregnant so it all seems new again.

I'm sad that twin 2 never made it, my DH is a twin and his mother so I think it made the pregnancy even more special, but I am just counting myself so lucky to be having one at all. We had a miscarriage 5 months ago.

Thanks for the welcome!

Onestep2 · 06/11/2018 14:05

Hello ladies!

Can I join? I'm currently 5+3 and due on 06/07/18!!

Already suffering from morning sickness, sore boobs, spotty face, constantly tired. Fun times ahead.

Have first docs appointment on thuraday. This is baby no1 so I'm not sure what to expect!

TwittleBee · 06/11/2018 14:36

Hey there Onestep2 and CollyWombles welcome!

So phoned 11 about my pain and spotting. They didn't sound concerned. Just said to see my GP as might be a stomach bug as I've been having odd bowel movements too and morning sickness.... err... okay? Anyway now been on hold to GP for 40 fricking minutes. Piss take!

Delilah7 · 06/11/2018 14:39

Hi. Wondering if I can join ladies! Found out last week I'm pregnant with my rainbow baby after miscarrying in August. I'm 5 weeks so still very early but nervous! Sore boobs and nausea! X

Onestep2 · 06/11/2018 14:47

@Deliah7 hi hun, I lurked in the background of a thread you were on back in Aug when you went through your bad time!! So happy to hear your good news!!! Hope all is well!!!

Delilah7 · 06/11/2018 14:59

@Onestep2 hi lovely!! aww thank you so much. was tough but hoping this one will go forward without problems if not many!! hope you're ok??!

amanda2809 · 06/11/2018 15:08

Hi @CollyWombles and @Onestep2! I'm 5+3 too @Onestep2 :) But this is my second. DS just turned 4 and as my husband pointed out this morning it's been almost 5 years since I was pregnant so we've both forgotten everything!

The heartburn is REAL this afternoon. I remember suffering bad from about 16 weeks last time, really hoping this is just a one off and not the start so early....!

Frazzlerock · 06/11/2018 15:15

Laburna · 06/11/2018 15:15

@allthegoodnamesalreadytaken he really is so funny. Just wish there would be less at silly o'clock!

Did you get through yet @twittlebee?

How did the appointment go @itsallgreek?

I have had a massive baby brain on today, managed to drive forward instead of back and therefore into a bollard 🤦🏻‍♀️ no damage as I wasn't going quick enough thankfully! I've actually managed to eat at lunchtime, although I've been cooking our tea in the slow cooker and the smell is getting to me again. I really want a nap but I know as soon as I fall asleep DS will wake up. 😟

Anyone want a dog? He's become a limpet today, he seems to need at least one limb touching me at all times, and if that's not enough he comes and sits on my lap! Or lays on me like a baby. He's not a massive dog, but 20kilos is still bloody heavy!

Laburna · 06/11/2018 15:16

Hello new people btw! Sorry about your twin @collywombles :(

Frazzlerock · 06/11/2018 15:17

Well I was called at work today by DS2's school as he bumped his head and said he felt sick and tired. So I had to do the 1.5hr trip home from my office in London back home again and pick hi up from school. He seems fine now (obviously)

also, my laptop bag got shat on by a bird at London Bridge Angry Currently, trying to psyche myself up to clean it off

Frazzlerock · 06/11/2018 15:19

@TwittleBee well that's frustrating!

@Laburna glad the car is okay

Onestep2 · 06/11/2018 15:20

@amanda2809 aww don't get me started on the heartburn :( then all the vomiting doesn't help the heartburn!

@delilah7 fab news! I'm sure everything will all go as planned this time!!

Finally managed to eat something today that settled my stomach... a crispy roll, corned beef and brown sauce. Not my usual cup of tea to be fair

@frazzlerock... I would take that bird shit as good luck? Lol

TwinkleDay · 06/11/2018 15:25
