This is the lotion and toner I’m using on my face for the past 10 days and it’s helping my awful breakout and blotchy dry skin patches from boots

@itsallgreek there seems to be a lot of bleeding going on on this thread so it seems it's very common. Keep an eye on it though and if you're at all worried try and get to your nearest EPU just for peace of mind

Frazzlerock · 05/11/2018 21:30

@StargazyDrifter oooh! Just what I need, thank you 😂

itsallgreek · 05/11/2018 21:32

I'm gonna see how much blood I'm spotting in the morning then I'll make the decision if I'll go in tomorrow or not. Its about a 30 min drive there plus traffic and I was gonna ask to leave early anyway to take the car to the mechanics for a tyre change before my gyno appointment....

I've still got locker back pain and I'm not cramping more than I was pre bleed so I'm trying to convince myself that everything is going to be OK

TwittleBee · 05/11/2018 21:43

Thank you all for your lovely and calming words and StargazyDrifter thank you for that very apt picture, did bring a smile to me.

Bless you itsallgreek does seem a few of us are in a similar boat. Really hope you are okay and do get yourself checked out. I think I might go tomorrow and just have to drag DS with me.

Laburna · 06/11/2018 02:48

One day I will sleep!

Though it's probably not helping that DS is in his cot repeatedly singing twinkle twinkle and giving himself a round of applause everytime he finishes!

Capybaras · 06/11/2018 06:40

Had a rough night and my OH has caught the bug too. Was concerned about bean but just done another test and it’s a nice strong line so hopefully all is ok!

How’s everyone else doing?

ratherbeshowjumping · 06/11/2018 07:08

Morning everyone,

Sorry to hear about the spotting @itsallgreek - looking around the group, it's seeming like a fairly common symptom at this stage, so hopefully it's just the little one getting comfy 🤞🏼

Feeling really nauseous today, vomiting as soon as I woke up ☹️ DH is still poorly too so absolutely no sympathy whatsoever from him!

TwittleBee · 06/11/2018 07:31

Morning all! Does anyone else have the pregnancy+ app? Downloaded it last night and there was actually a blog about spotting on there and how it's super common and there isn't any need to worry until a health professional tells you otherwise etc! Also the app shows you what your baby looks at each week, is kinds odd looking at 4-5 weeks haha, just a blog of cells really!

Sorry you didn't sleep well Laburna I ended up taking my anxiety pills as I knew I wouldn't sleep otherwise. Worried now what it might mean for baby but I was so wiped.

Oh no ratherbeshowjumping not good!

TwittleBee · 06/11/2018 07:32

Yay at the nice strong line!!! Capybaras

Frazzlerock · 06/11/2018 08:29

Morning all,

@TwittleBee yes I have that app, it's a really good one. I love the way it plays the heartbeat and you can see your baby in 'lifesize'.
I seem to have collected quite a few apps! I've got Flo (as was tracking cycles with that), Ovia, Babycentre, and Preg+. Not sure which one I like best but, despite them all having the exact same due date, two of them are a day out Hmm

TwittleBee · 06/11/2018 08:31

ah yeah i used Flo too Frazzlerock i couldnt get on with Ovia though as I couldnt work out how to adjust my luteal phase on there! I have got rid of FF though.

TheScaredyKat · 06/11/2018 08:32

Oh hello insomnia. Ugh I need to go back to bed.

Frazzlerock · 06/11/2018 08:34

oh and also some of them say the size of a grain of rice and others the size of a blueberry? That's quite a big difference so I wonder which it is

itsallgreek · 06/11/2018 08:55

Thank you all for your kind words... Seems that spotting has stopped and maybe you're all right and beans just really pushing themselves in there to get comfy 🤞. I'm using ovia I like it a lot but I'm always looking for something else

I didn't go into work today because of the spotting I decided to stay in bed in my pj's until its doctor time at 6:30 here so 4:30 UK time... I'm very excited to see that everything's OK and hear a heartbeat if possible 😬

Back pain hasn't gone away and my left boob aches like hell but it's always that one the right one doesn't seem to know I'm pregnant, but it was been a bit slow seeing as it's half the size of the other hahaha.

TwittleBee · 06/11/2018 08:55

Do the apps have you at different weeks? I think grain of rice is week 6 and blueberry is week 7 isn'tit?

TwittleBee · 06/11/2018 08:57

itsallgreek how many weeks are you again? Also my boobs are the same but its my right one! Had this with DS too!

Frazzlerock · 06/11/2018 09:04

@TwittleBee they all have me at the same due date (30th June). So two of the apps are telling me I am 6+3 and the other two are saying I am 6+2. Weirdly Ovia is saying 6+2 but says 'blueberry', Preg+ says 6+2 and 'grain of rice', Flo says 6+3 and doesn't give me a size, Babycentre says 6+3 and the size of a lentil...

Maybe I have too many apps Grin

TwittleBee · 06/11/2018 09:07

I just do not trust Ovia after my inability to use it haha Frazzlerock I would go with the rice / lentil size! Crazy to think your baby's heart is beating now btw!

Frazzlerock · 06/11/2018 09:13

Haha! Good point, yes I know! I hope it is still beating on Saturday when we see our little Popsy.

I'm mega bloated today. I'm wearing a dress but it isn't all that loose (not tight though) and my belly is properly poking out Shock I'll try and get a photo in the loos...

itsallgreek · 06/11/2018 09:16

@TwittleBee I'm 5+2 but they do thing differently over here I called my gynecologist 2 days after I got my positive test and they booked me today for a tranavaginal scan

TwittleBee · 06/11/2018 09:16

Frazzlerock I am sure the little heart will be beating, will be so lovely to see it too!

Oh no don't I am as well! I think it is because of all the carb I am eating to combat morning sickness. I actually made DH get down my stored Mat Clothes from the attic last night ready for me to sort through! I have a lot of lose fitting clothes in there so I plan to wear them to hide bump bloat!

Capybaras · 06/11/2018 09:17

@frazzlerock @twittlebee I’ve got all the apps too which annoyingly differ in what stage I’m at! Hoping my booking in appointment with the midwife will provide some clarity. Think I’m going to have to cancel today’s appointment unfortunately as I don’t want to spread this bug!

TwittleBee · 06/11/2018 09:17

itsallgreek Yeah I think they do, just remember not to be worried if you do not see a heart beat yet as it tends to be at 6 weeks! Also if baby is measuring smaller than dates do not worry either as you might have ovulated later etc or dates could be slightly out and early scans are so inaccurate! FX for you lovely

Frazzlerock · 06/11/2018 09:18
