Hi I thought I’d start one
This will be dc3 and I have dd6 and ds2 Edd 6 July 2019. Wish I was 12 weeks already!

Lots of twins in my family too. Both my parents are twins and i have a couple of sets of twin cousins too. It was the first question we asked with ds 'is there just one?'

Hi all. I haven't posted for 2 days and so much as happened! I just introduced myself before. I had my HCG 48 test today and it has almost doubled from 433 to 799 so very happy about that. I also got my progesterone test back and it is low so I have suppositories and tablets to take along with Baby Aspirin.

I would actually love to have twins. I don't think I will as no history in the family on either side and my HCG is pretty normal so multiples is unlikely.

@Holly5663 people are all so different. My husband is being very cautious too this time as I had a mc before - he gave me a hug and hasn't really mentioned it since! I haven't told anyone else yet, but I will probably tell a friend next weekend.

I actually live in Dubai, although I am British and my parents live in Edinburgh. They are coming to visit at the end of November and I am not going home for Christmas this year so I might have to tell them then.

I have bronchitis today - "sudden onset" according to my doctor and I am at home feeling really sorry for myself. I thought I had low energy this week anyway, but now it is super low energy.

@Capybaras You can call the gp right away and they’ll tell you where to go from there - some refer to midwives, some want to see you etc, easiest to just give them a call. They will usually request your 12 week scan too, so it’s not a bad thing to get in there early.

@Capybaras I found out on a Saturday and booked an emergency appointment with GP on the Monday. Although I've heard nothing since and that was ten days ago (I'm impatient)

Climbing aboard! Period was due today, but got a very strong positive last Saturday and another on Sunday.

It feels like I'm in a bubble at the moment x

Congratulations ladies!

I'm due 14th June 2019 with my first after TTC for 10 months.

7 weeks 6 days are boobs have increased, exhaustion has kicked in and so has the nausea!
I have to eat something all the time to take the nausea away (salt and vinegar crisps) are my go to!

My DH is a twin but non-identical so I don't think that increases the probability of twins for me 🤞

I'm really struggling with the lack of symptoms, with DS I had really bad morning sickness by this point. I'm grateful not to be suffering with that yet but it keeps giving me doubts. As horrid as it was, I wish I felt at least slightly ill.

@silverrose56 I'm the same, no nausea, at least not anything worth noting. Only major symptoms are thirst and tiredness. I wish I had more to put my mind at rest

@frazzlerock I'm 1980 😳 we're so old. Geriatric in terms of parenthood!

@frazzlerock - I am 36, almost 37 so whilst not quite a 79 birth year, also not a youngster! Being a geriatric mother as the guidelines say will come with it's own issues......
I always wonder how people get around to having children when they are young, but I really admire it - so many less issues as a whole. And more energy!

I know! I don't feel like an older mother!? It's a ridiculous medical term. I feel like I'm in my prime and a lot of my friends haven't even started a family yet

I had my first at 26, then second at 30. This little one I will be just 40 (the perfect 40th birthday present!) so all my children will be very well spaced out. Not that it was my choice, I have PCOS so it was up to my dumb hormones. I wanted my first two very close together but it wasn't meant to be apparently.

In my area they release a fact sheet about the previous month's births. For the last few months the youngest mothers have been 29!

I'm 24, had DS when 23. Had so many rude comments about how young I was when pregnant with DS and already had a DR tell me I'm too young to want another one! Bloody rude. I am the youngest by 6 years in our NCT group

I have non-identical twins in the family (my grandpa) and it’s always been joked that one of the grandkids will have twins! I’m actually worried it may be me as I had a strong line today very early on!

@Seriously79 copy and paste the list into the message box, add yourself (you should see it is in order of due date) and send If you are using a mobile app it is slightly harder as (for some reason) you can't copy and paste into the message box. You will need to paste it into a notes app (or something) and then copy and paste from there into the message box. Far easier on the web version!

Hope it's ok that I updated it, had headaches this week every day! Is it ok to take paracetamol?

Urgh, more spotting just now - I hate this stage, it feels so fragile and even tho this pregnancy is so new it makes me realise just how invested I am already 🙁 Crossing my fingers a little bit harder now... (had spotting on and off through early stages with ds so at least I know it can be ok)
