Thanks, don’t remember the food aversion starting so early last time :( I’m not sure how much longer dh and dd will have hot meals as at some point it’ll be nothing but sandwiches with fillings that don’t smell!

Kay2705 · 17/10/2018 18:20

Hi All,

Can I join?! Just got my very first bfp after trying for almost a year. Was about to start ivf.

Due June 26th according to my apps. X

pollykins151 · 17/10/2018 18:34

@poppyseed2 @Skee @mindthechaos will be 20 months between mine. nervous about coping. ESP as DH works nights mon-fri so I essentially single parent until sat lunch 😩

SmallGeezer · 17/10/2018 18:44

Hi guys! Newbie here :) 5 weeks today with number 1 following a MC last month, so tying to chill out and enjoy it (failing!)

I’m so bloated, especially at the end of the day. Had a business dinner last night and thought was going to explode out of my trousers at the end! Other than being tired at 3pm every day, no real signs ..... congrats to everyone

Mummytomollyandbean · 17/10/2018 18:51

I've got an early scan in half an hour, I'm so nervous Confused

Stormwhale · 17/10/2018 18:58

Good luck @Mummytomollyandbean everything crossed for you that it all goes ok.

Reastie · 17/10/2018 19:12

Let us know how you go mummytomollyandbean

NatalieBee · 17/10/2018 19:17

Hi everyone, can I join in? I should probably be on the may board I'm technically due very end of May (naughty of me, I know) but they seem to be gone over to Facebook very quiet on their board! Funnily my daughter was a August born and I ended up on the September bus last time too Grin

I'm currently pregnant with baby number 2, I've a history of recurrent miscarrige so a bit uneasy about everything, I've been having weekly scans at EPU (who are amazing) I'm 8 weeks and baby is looking great with a strong heartbeat!

Symptom wise nausea (++++), heartburn, really vivid dreams, sore boobs and weeing like a champion!

NatalieBee · 17/10/2018 19:22

Oh my, just noticed I was reading the board wrong on May and people did comment today Blush too late now I'm committed ive commented lol!!

MadeInCornwallx3 · 17/10/2018 19:29

Great scan @Stormwhale ! You must be so relieved!

Good luck to @Mummytomollyandbean - fingers crossed for you!

Welcome newbies! Nearly a full bus! 😊

hexagon01 · 17/10/2018 19:36

@poppyseed2 @skee @mindthechaos @pollykins151 2 years 1 month here and I’m a bit terrified!!

poppyseed2 · 17/10/2018 19:44

@Skee @mindthechaos @pollykins151 @hexagon01 I'm so busy worrying about how to get through pregnancy with a toddler, I haven't even started to think about how I'll cope once the baby is here yet!

Skee · 17/10/2018 19:46

Welcome and congratulations @Kay2705 and @SmallGeezer! 🎉

Hi @pollykins151 👋

Well, at least we’re not alone! 😳😩 DH works away regularly, I can’t imagine a baby and a toddler 😱

Hope all goes well @mummytomolly x x

Skee · 17/10/2018 19:52

Welcome @NatalieBee! Congratulations 🎉 lol-ing at your being committed now 😂

Hi @hexagon01 👋 a few summer 17 babies here - I’m finding it reassuring! x x

Though you’ve made a good point @poppyseed2, there’s no point in worrying about a toddler and a baby when I’ve yet to make it through pregnancy 😂 x x

GreenDill · 17/10/2018 19:55

Hey all!

There’s going to be a 6 year age gap between DD and this DC, slightly nervous about “starting over” again ..if that makes sense Hmm ...especially a month before the kids break up for summer BlushConfused .

cheeky but would someone mind popping me on the list when it’s next updated? Tried doing it at work today and a colleague looked over my shoulder and asked what I was doing on mumsnet ..had to pretend I was looking for parenting advice and close the browser sharpish Confused

Symptom wise my boobs are sore when I take my bra off and nonstop peeing but otherwise symptomless. So jealous of those that have already had early scans, silly to wish the weeks away when we’ve tried for so long for this baby but this ONE WEEK I’ve known already feels like it’s been a month Blush.

hexagon01 · 17/10/2018 20:07

@GreenDill that’s so exciting that your daughter will be old enough to properly understand what’s going on though. I know it’s different but my niece was 6 when my son was born and she loves him, she’s absolutely adorable.

My lovely summer 17 baby currently ha suspected chicken pox Shock luckily I had it when I was a kid so I think I’m okay, but my boyfriend hasn’t had it. Fully expecting him to get horrible adult chicken pox just as my symptoms from this pregnancy start to kick in and I feel dreadful.

GreenDill · 17/10/2018 20:15

@hexagon01 that’s true! She’s been asking for a sibling for 2 years now and is very good with other babies, so fingers and toes crossed this pregnancy goes well, after the 20 week scan we will pay for a private scan to be done so she can come and see baby on the scan!

Also thank god you’re immune! Cannot imagine how stressful that would be otherwise!

Mummytomollyandbean · 17/10/2018 20:16

Finally been seen. All ok and saw the heartbeat. Been put back a few days but feel so relieved something was there!

Curlywurly3 · 17/10/2018 20:42

Congrats on your scans ladies! I don't feel nauseous. Is that normal for 5+1?!

curlypasta · 17/10/2018 20:46

Neither do I! But I’m also not very hungry- that is v unusual!

Curlywurly3 · 17/10/2018 20:48

@bigonesmallone happy 5+1 day ;) my boobs and nipples are tender. Last night the pain in my nipples was quite bad. Woke me up in the night but just tender again today. Not feeling sick as of yet, I guess that's good but you kinda want to feel it! This is my first time so have no idea x

Curlywurly3 · 17/10/2018 20:49

How far along are you fellow curly person! ;)

hexagon01 · 17/10/2018 20:50

@curlywurly3 I’m 4+6 and feel absolutely fine, in my first pregnancy it hit at about 7 weeks and I felt horrific til about 19 weeks so I’m enjoying the probably temporary reprieve.

Stormwhale · 17/10/2018 20:50

@GreenDill - my dd just turned five so will be heading towards six by the time baby is born. I'm counting it as a positive even though I'm nervous about starting the baby stage again. My dd is so sweet and caring, she is going to love this baby and she is old enough to help if she wants to.

@Mummytomollyandbean - fab news that your scan went well!

@Curlywurly3 - I had no nausea at that stage, it has only kicked in properly in the last few days at around 7 weeks (my dates are a bit iffy). I had sickness around the time of my bfp then it went and has just come back.

curlypasta · 17/10/2018 20:53

@curlywurly3 I’m 4+5 today. Already have an 8 and 3 year old. Due 20th of June ish!
