Welcome to all newbies and congrats. And good luck to those with scans tomorrow. Or today I should say. Just woke up for my middle of the night wee (Joy) and was ravenous. So have had to get up and eat some toast.

Those worrying about lack of symptoms I don't have any really. Apart from being tired and weeing more. I didn't have much nausea last time and I never had sore boobs.

I feel like I can feel the baby as well but was nearer 20 weeks for me last time and baby is so small now to be feeling anything.

So tired. Woke to pee and couldn’t get back off , sore back/hip, was up 2-4 I reckon . Then up at 0530 for work.

@hopefulbabydust123 those are my thoughts exactly!!! We can do this though! Good luck 

Apart from getting up a few times in the night to return the toddlers dummy to him, I've had a good sleep. Why do I feel as tired as I did when I went to bed last night!?

I’ve felt fluttering but definitely o early for me to feel anything, I put it down to wind

I've had a few little flutters too, which I didn't get until 15 weeks last time. Hopefully my insides getting the baby comfortable!

2 really sweary things this morning:
1 is I’ve got horrible diarrhoea.
2 is I’ve just remembered we’ve already bought festival tickets for the summer so I’m going on my own with a (will be by then) 9 year old, 4 year old and 6 week old baby, in a tent for a week. What the actual fuck.
Have a lovely day everyone-I’ll be mostly swearing on the toilet.

@curlypasta ohh which music festival? I'd love to go back to Boomtown next year but it's early August and baby would be about 8 weeks... don't know if I would manage. Unless it stays at grandparents for the weekend..

2. I have Antigua booked.. can't go. A ski trip booked.. I now can't ski and a family ski trip yet to book and I'll be staying home! BUT... I don't care because I'm still over the moon! would you consider cancelling it?

It's funny isn't it - we've spent the past couple of years booking nothing (missed a family trip to the Dominican Republic amongst other things), then we risked booking flights for June and a theatre trip for July, and I changed jobs in September and boom!
Sod's law but I'm so glad haha 😂

We had a family holiday with the in laws booked for June. We've changed it to September now so will be on hol for 2 weeks with a 2 yo and a 3.5 month old >eek

@curlypasta that sounds horrific! Any chance you can sell the ticket! I’d barely left the house when DS was 6 weeks old, let alone go to a festival!

Morning all! Just back from our scan, all is well and we saw a heartbeat! Baby measuring 5+4 which is frustrating as I had myself at 6+4 based on LMP but the nurse and consultant weren't concerned by that. Happy days!

Sympathies to those of you who have booked trips. We haven’t planned anything because I need to renew my visa. So I want to make sure I have my passport back and am still allowed to live in the country!

Morning all. Not the best night/morning here. Had the tiniest amount of spotting last night and have woken up with that awful period is coming sensation.

Due to previous miscarriage I have gone straight into meltdown mode and heading to the GP at 10, cannot self refer to the EPU here. Fingers crossed.

@tryingtoswallow thinking of you and FX everything is OK, so many ladies have pain and spotting.. try and stay positive xx

I'm 5+6 today and not feeling very pregnant! My boobs are only slightly sore and I have no nausea whatsoever!

I have a dr app at 11:30, hopefully they’ll refer me for a scan FX

@hexagon01 I’m actually thinking it’ll be easier with 2 bigger kids and a newborn, the big ones go off and be feral for a week and the newborn will just sleep and cry and feed. As long as I heal well afterwards it’ll be fine. But I’m worried about cosleeping on airbeds, gonna have to come up with a plan!

Yay @jacquejacque! I'm so glad it went well after such a stressful weekend. Do you have a new due date? It may be readjusted at 12 weeks again anyway I suppose. Seeing a heartbeat must be amazing!

I thought the TWW was difficult, but the time before the first scan is even worse. It's like Schrodinger's baby in there.
