Can't think of anything inspirational for the thread title.....my head is full of post-natal titles though!

But, so as not to waste a precious post.....

...Due in June.....will TAs LO be here before the next full moon! (Sorry TA )

...Due in June....where some have been born, some are a work in progress and some are showing no signs of arriving at all

DH has another week on holiday, and then will be working from home for a week, so I've got him for another two weeks. He's going to try and sort out working from home on Mondays and Fridays as well so will only be away three nights. Think we may well be moving to Lincolnshire next spring, provided the job is still going well by then!

MysticRedRanger is great, he just wants to cuddle and kiss her all the time, but he gets a bit too giddy and tends to crowd us all the time, especially when I'm trying to feed her......he's not asked can she go back yet, so that's a good thing!

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 11:31

Bloody hell, I feel shit! Up and down all night and now HB from hell, but also really hungry at the same time! Not a good combo!

Hope everyone is having a good day! I haven't bought dp a father's day pressie, oops! Haven't really been anywhere to buy one, but he doesn't mind. He has told me he only wants one present...the baby! Yeah, fat chance! Will have to go and buy my dad a card and go and see him in a bit though, alas that means I will have to stop sitting around in my towel and go and get dressed! Arse!

Wonder if pingu's had her baby yet!

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 11:33

Bless red ranger daisy! I hope alice is the same, I have visions of her hating the baby and becoming a nightmare! He sounds like a great big brother!

daisyboo · 17/06/2007 11:36

IKWYM Holly....I'm beginning to love my pjs and can't imagine wearing normal clothes ever again!!

I keep trying on my size 16 combats but can't get the farking things buttoned......and I was a 12-14 before all of this

daisyboo · 17/06/2007 11:37

I need to get on my feet and mobile.....haven't left the house since Wednesday and I'm blardy bored!

daisyboo · 17/06/2007 11:38

DD is starting to wake up...off for a quick shower before she starts on full on hungry mode

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 11:42

I didn't leave the house very much at all when alice was born, it was too much effort to get dressed and get a bag packed and put the pushchair up etc. It used to take me an hour to get out of the house, she would always want feeding just as we were about to go out!!

I have got some size 16 trousers for after the birth as well! I am so joining weight watchers this time though, or slimming world! I can't bear to be a fatty any longer!

bumperlicious · 17/06/2007 11:43

I know you mean about waking up hungry, when I wake up early in the morning I'm always starving! I had two bowls of coco pops before 5am this morning!

Glad the mystic red ranger has taken to baby em daisy.

Sorry you've had a bad night holly. Guess I'd better get dressed to, going to pop out and get some papers.

I had 3 croissants with apricot jam at 5.30! They were yummy! I did get jam all over the laptop though!

Right, I am GOING to get dressed now! I have so much to do. The bedroom is finished, but we have so much tidying to do, putting stuff back in and rearranging. I can't face it. MUST DO STUFF!!!

trendaverter · 17/06/2007 12:42

Hello all

Hope you are all well - desperate for a pingu update though!

Well I have been trying to keep busy and take my mind off my obviously inefficient body by driving to a local forest and taking pooch for a long walk, then had a nice healthy KFC to cheer me up.

I must say it worked, I am moderately cheerful now!

I was as depressed as you like this morning, I really was, but I am trying to be more positive now. I think the mornings are the hardest.

daisyboo · 17/06/2007 13:00

Hi TA....glad you're feeling a bit more positive.

just remember your body isn't being ineffcient, it's just being efficient in a longer time frame. all theses contractions are stilll doing their thing!

did they do an interal last night? do you know whether there has been any movement down below?

daisyboo · 17/06/2007 13:01

who is pingu's text buddy?

trendaverter · 17/06/2007 13:04

Hi Daisy, no they wouldn't do an interanl as I wasn't in labour/distress. It is against their policy apparently!
The contractions stopped yesterday
I am back to nothing which is a bummer.

How are you today? Sorry to hear about your wound - if it's pongy it must be quite infected.

foxybrown · 17/06/2007 13:11

What did you go and mention KFC for? Just got back from the shopping centre, wish I'd thought of it sooner!

Actually, as per Bumpers Hypnotherapy CD, I am finding I am only "attracted to healthy foods". I can't actually go to sleep without it on now!

Just bought some jasmine oil, more RLT and took a caulphyllium this morning, as had an attack of the runs and a couple of big contractions. I'd quite like to have my baby today for some reason

Despite being up since 4. I think its being relaxed thats done it.

Chilli jacket potato for lunch followed by a mango!

daisyboo · 17/06/2007 13:17

Foxy...if you have your LO before TA, she'll be round your house with the heavy mob I reckon

I just wouldn't go there if I was you!

seriously, do you think its for real, or just a practice?

trendaverter · 17/06/2007 13:21

Daisy, I would love to be all graceful and honourable and be pleased for Foxy, but in reality you are right.

Foxy, I will hunt you down goddamnit, it's MY TURN!

daisyboo · 17/06/2007 13:22

LOL

hollyandalice · 17/06/2007 13:28

It's alright TA, I'll send the boys round if foxy has her baby today! It's my turn before her! Are you listening foxy, I know where you live !

Off to see my daddy now, speak later xxx

foxybrown · 17/06/2007 13:31

don't worry, this one won't be out for another 3 weeks at least!

After Wimbledon would be good.

Or maybe the following week as we won't all be able to go to school sports day as we haven't bought a new car yet.

And there's a school trip on the 13th July, so the 14th would be convenient.

Hmm, perhaps at the end of July when the school holidays start then

trendaverter · 17/06/2007 13:35

My DH is an arse

I am on the floor with my arse in the air and he is looking at me like I am a freak. I say 'apparently it's good for positioning etc'.
He sayd 'I think they just tell you that for a laugh'.

foxybrown · 17/06/2007 13:37

Tell him if he were a decent man he'd be on the floor doing it with you!!

bumperlicious · 17/06/2007 13:45

Does your DH like dicing with death - trying to be funny to a very heavily pregnant woman like that?!

OP posts:
trendaverter · 17/06/2007 13:46

Yes I KNOW!

Perhaps 2 massive cauliflowers next to each other aren't much on a turn on!!

bumperlicious · 17/06/2007 13:47

I posted this thread this morning. What do you girls think? HOnestly? I am a bit like katelyle in that I don't want to criticise other people's methods but this one does seem like a huge effort, and I'm not convinced of the long term benefits?
