keep distracted. and labour will announce itself !

trendaverter · 14/06/2007 16:59

Daisy, you are one of the lucky ones, bugger off and talk about things that people with babies do

Pah just kidding, hang around here all you like, we need your vibes!

trendaverter · 14/06/2007 17:00

Lulu, I think I will go in for monitoring on Sunday but if all is well I will go home. I don't see the point in hanging around unless there is a concern - plus the way they are talking to me, the longer I linger the more they are going to try and talk me into a pessary!

trendaverter · 14/06/2007 17:02

ooh the pains are back! If a little subdued. Top of bump sticks out a bit and goes very hard and feels a bit like period pain. Don't hold your breath though ladies as you know I am the queen of false alarms and non-activity.

I am going to go cook dinner, will keep you posted!

daisyboo · 14/06/2007 17:02

there's never anyone there....all off attending to their offspring, but i'm still confined to barracks after c-section so bugger all else to do as em is soooo good. post natal you justlog on leave a message and if you're lucky someone will read it two hours later and respond!

and as i said yesterday, i'm having my natural childbirth vicariously through you lot!!

lulumama · 14/06/2007 17:04

hang on in there..labour has to start at some point..why not now?

daisyboo · 14/06/2007 17:04

ta...if you are very ripe, the pessary will probably just kick things off, but i would hold out if i were you. sounds like you might just have your bub before sunday!

trendaverter · 14/06/2007 17:05

Yes it does seem very quiet, I poked my head in earlier.

Well we chat for england so by all means keep stopping by

BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT

I received this from Seansfatlass this afternoon...

Jake born at 4.40am thu 14th June. Mum and baby doing well. Mr SG. Mrs SG says hi and will fill you in soon..

Hurray and congratulations to SFL

bumperlicious · 14/06/2007 17:06

Hooray you found it!

TA I really hope something kicks off for you soon. You've still got a couple of days grace for things to start happening.

Just had a bath with tea tree and lavender, still smarting (both physically and metaphorically) over my brush with thrush. Just want it to go away before I go into labour! How long does this thing stick around? The cream says to keep using it for 2 weeks! S'bloody uncomfortable too!

fingers crossed it is now, or at least before sunday - or even sunday itself and give DH a lovely fathers day gift

hollyandalice · 14/06/2007 17:08

!! Congrats to you you wonderful lady!!!

I was wondering where all you cheeky biatches had gone! Chatting away without me, how rude!

trendaverter · 14/06/2007 17:08

Bumper
I have had thrush on and off for 9 months. It's shit.
But use the cream a few times a day (2-3) and it should be gone in about 3 days.

bumperlicious · 14/06/2007 17:09

Yay to SFL! Congratulations!

Don't worry Holly, it was poo, and it hurt like hell, but what can I say, I seem to have some action so I can't hate the fact I had it. Necessary evil maybe!

OOPS DH is home and I haven't put dinner on byeeeeeeeeeee

hollyandalice · 14/06/2007 17:15

I'm sat here starving hungry, but can't be arsed to do dinner! I'm so lazy!
