I’m thinking about giving hypnobirthing a try this time around... Have heard good things about the positive birth company. I also need to start some kind of exercise class again - I used to do Zumba and Pilates a couple of times a week but I stopped exercising all together because I felt so grim for the first few months. Now I’m totally out of the habit! Might try to find a decent pregnancy yoga class...

Agghhh DSis water broke She's on monitor now just having cramp type contractions atm.

@Angelmiracle oh wow! Hope everything goes ok. Is she full term?

Is all OK @Angelmiracle? Not familiar with the DSis term - I presume this stands for your sister and not a mistype of DS's - i.e. yours?

Lol yeah my sister. She's due this Sunday just finished work yesterday! She done a 6km walk yesterday and had a lot of pressure. Not a lot happening yet but doctor said she could stay another while in case contractions get stronger.

We are hoping so too @Wineandchoccy as she's in Australia with no family! Her fiance is great though and they have nearby friends from home too.

@Angelmiracle Hope it all goes smoothly for her. My waters broke at 7am ish with DS and he arrived at half midnight, but know it can take much longer for some.

She's been sent home and going to bed. Any pains have stopped. Hope for her sake she doesn't need induced she's worried about that happening. They didnt do internal either so she doesnt know if she's dilated at all.

With DS my waters broke but I didn’t start contracting so they had to induce me - it really wasn’t what I wanted but actually when it happened it wasn’t so bad as I expected - it was intense but quick. So, hopefully either way you will have a beautiful new baby in the family soon!!

I had a dream last night that I felt the baby moving. Not sure if I actually did or not. I also dreamt that there was a shopping centre fire so we got evacuated and I cried into some fish and chips because I couldn't buy the dress I wanted. That definitely didn't happen so we're probably still quiet on the movement front. 😂😂

AssumeItWasSomethingClever pregnancy dreams are definitely weird. I struggled to sleep last night as I have my 20 week scan today, I think DH is more nervous than he is letting on as he was talking in his sleep last night which is very unusual.

I know what you mean about the dreams, some of mine have been so vivid. To the point I have woke up and thought did that happen! I reckon they are more frequent now that I wake so often each night to go to the toilet.

All fingers crossed for a smooth delivery @angelmiracle! How exciting for your family. :)

Sister was only home an hour and consultant rang wanting her back in a couple of hours to induce her - only because the hospital would be busy at the weekend?! She had been booked to go back Saturday. She rang me in tears not wanting to be induced. I told her she didn't have to go in plus she was so tired I told her to have a sleep. So she rang and told them she wanted to see if contractions would start on their own. She had another gush of waters and her contractions have now become regular so hopefully not long for her!

Hopefully she will not have to wait to long. I was induced with dd 24 hours after my waters went it was a long process but she is here safe and well so it wouldn’t put me off if I needed the same again

oooh @angelmiracle how exciting! Sending good thoughts to your sister, and that's great she hasn't had to be induced. How lovely to have babies so close together, even though you're a huge distance apart.

@Priscilla83 the nighttime toilet trips are becoming the bane of my life! I thought it was supposed to quieten down in the second trimester. Last night I got up 3 times!
