homemom · 01/07/2007 10:11

Hi.

I am due on the 22nd January and my birthday is 18th January. In my family there are 5 capricorns so far 4 of which are females! We are all stubborn as mules!

gingeme · 01/07/2007 10:47

my dh is a capricorn and oh yes he is srubborn oh yes he is Oh no another one on the way...........

MamaMaiasaura · 01/07/2007 11:45

I had a really freak dream last night. I dreamt that I was a jiggy with dp and performing a naughty act on him and then his mobile beeps ands it is a message from Beller off this thread and they have been testing eachother for ages. In my dream I dont know if I was preg but I was engaged to dp and Beller and dp were talking about really personal stuff to do with dp and my relationship.

gingeme · 01/07/2007 12:01

Do you know beller in RL awen?

MamaMaiasaura · 01/07/2007 12:05

no that is why it was such a silly freaky dream. DP thinks it is hilarious. I felt cross with him because of the dream, totally irrational so therefore not really cross but the dream was really realistic. LOL Never reckoned for this.

LilyLoo · 01/07/2007 14:42

Beller lookk out
Ok i will keep my fingers crossed behind my back and tell you that Capricorns are all very laid back , always willing to do as you ask and never want to boss and organise everyone else.

Housemum · 01/07/2007 18:13

Depending on whether you are early/late there might be some Sagittarius or Aquarius in our group? Sagittarius would be yet another fire sign in our house - the I and 2 DDs are all Aries!

ayrshirelolo · 01/07/2007 21:51

Hi all! hope you all had a good weekend, i'm sitting here yawning just about to chuck the towel in and go to bed, but just wanted to say i think my bean's gonna be an aquarius... what does that mean? Don't think we've got any others in the family anywhere, so anyone got any experience?

ayrshirelolo · 01/07/2007 21:55

Oh yeah sorry i forgot! Lilylou, just had a chance to catch up on the old "white dress" thread, and i think it's completely gorgeous and you should wear it for sure! Some of those guys on the style thread are totally judgmental headcases! You'd think you'd suggested farting at the Queen, not wearing a fab frock!

Naetha · 01/07/2007 22:59

Oooh just got back from a fab weekend - met up with a bunch of geeks for a friend's house warming party. He'd hired a bouncy castle, and it rained the whole time - it was still absolutely great fun though! I didn't bounce too energetically (I manage to pull muscles these days just by blinking it seems) but still had an awesome time!

I was a bit naughty as well...not only did I have a glass of red wine, I had some brie too . I know it was naughty, but there was nothing else I wanted on the menu at the place we went for lunch the next day, so I had a bacon and brie sandwich. I know there's a chance of getting listeria, but the risks are absolutely tiny and brie is so yum! For me it was an acceptable risk imo.

Everyone else have good weekends? Seems like it was rather quiet, but thats probably a good thing!

I have my gall bladder op on Wednesday this week. My mum is coming up to look after me, and although I'm grateful she's coming to some extent, it just means loads of work for me and DH - she's OCD obsessive about clenliness, and we're definitely NOT! It just means that she will have a go at me about the state of the house (we only moved in 2 months ago and have no furniture yet lol!) and then go around cleaning incessantly for the rest of her stay. I know she means well, but its hard work all the same!

Naetha · 01/07/2007 23:00

As for the whole star-signs stuff...I'm a bit skeptical about all that (wow apaprently you're going to have exactly the same day as 1/12th of the population - how unique!) although having said that both me and DH are Aries and do fit the bill rather!

Anyway, I am literally falling asleep at the keyboard!

Goodnight

BeckyAu · 02/07/2007 08:11

Good morning ladies - I hope you are all well?.
Sorry - I always seem to come here asking potentially daft questions but again I hope someone can tell me... I had my results of the combined test through this morning which states the chances of bean being Downs Syndrome is 1 in 720 which is technically low risk - and I am 38. Now I know the high risk starts at 1 in 250 but a friend had a risk come back of 1 in 4000 so in in 750 sounds high. Am I worrying over nothing? Sorry to start the week with a question rather than fab weekend story but I had to work all weekend so no such stories from me.

thanks for your help xxx

beller · 02/07/2007 08:46

Beckyau- i think that is low risk hun, that means out of 725 births, 1 could have downs? Have you talked it through with the nurse and dh?

Awen- what a weird dream!!! hahahaha you must have mumsnett on the brain, weird thing to dream about though ? I assure you ,IM not texting anyone apart from my ex, so even though i dont know your DP,we can rule the texting out xx Im a capricorn too!

Jenwish- great news re the scan!

Naetha- good luck for you op this week!

And best wishs for all scans this week xxxx

LilyLoo · 02/07/2007 08:54

Sorry Ayrshire no idea on Aquarians but this may help www.psychicguild.com/horoscopes_zodiac.php?sign=Aquarius

MamaMaiasaura · 02/07/2007 09:16

ayreshirelolo - ds is an aquirian. He is lovely, very kind, caring thoughtful, sensitive and generous. I would also say he is creative and a day dreamer (although very bright). Dont know if that is typical of the star sign tho .

Right am feeling a bit uncomfortable today and am in 2 minds as to wether to bother midwife cos I might be being silly am going to go start a thread about it. x

beller · 02/07/2007 10:47

awen- you ok? hope nothing is wrong xx

MamaMaiasaura · 02/07/2007 10:55

Am resting today. Think I over did it at weekend. Thanks x

p.s. looks like ms might be back too

BWMum · 02/07/2007 11:23

Hello everyone,

It has been busy on here with so many people having their scans! We had ours on Friday and it was amazing - baby was jumping around a lot, moving arms and legs and swallowing and at one point it even turned over. Fantastic to see! I was really nervous about the scan, now so relieved everything is ok. Sort of feels like we can relax a bit now .

Awen - I hope you're feeling ok, hope you can get some rest today if you feel your weekend was too busy.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

BWMum · 02/07/2007 11:25

They also changed our due date to 1 Jan so I've updated the list. Hope bean doesn't decide to be born then - imagine having a hangover on your birthday for most of your life!

gingeme · 02/07/2007 11:28

awen ms with avengance today been starving almost straight after though which is so weird.
Had a nice weekend . We went to a friends school fete yesterdayand had a fab time. Met my friends brand new baby boy (he has 2 older sistiers). He is lovely and has LOADS of hair.
Told another friend Im expecting again and she said 'wow your fertile!' which made a nice change from'another one??!!!' which is just slightly getting on my tits.
Speaking of which is anyone elses boobs still realy tender and sensative? Im 12 weeks today and from past experience that part has usualy all settled by now.
Thats pretty low risk numbers Beckyau. I had a similur count with my last baby and was suggested to have an amnio test but declined and hes fine. Dont beat yourself up anout it.

MamaMaiasaura · 02/07/2007 11:28

BWmum - what a lovely scan. Are you able to upload your pictures? It is a relief to see them jumping around .

Lying on sofa (feeling guilty cos should do ironing) with laptop and telly. Feel very lazy.

MamaMaiasaura · 02/07/2007 11:31

aww gingme - poor you, Luckily i have not been sick just feel a bit quezy today. Sounds like a lovely weekend.

Becky - meant to post that it sounds low risk to me. The risks to baby from cvs are considerbley higher than risk of down syndrome.

Naetha · 02/07/2007 11:37

You take it easy today Awen

My MS is also back with a vengeance today Gingeme - nearly threw up at my desk for no apparent reason other than I was a bit peckish. Had to stuff a rich tea biscuit down my throat while holding my nose. DH wants to go out for lunch today to the pub, but I don't want to eat anything

Except cucumber lol! I ate a whole cucumber last night and can't get enough! Found out as well, there's only 45 calories in a whole cucumber, yet its got 5% of your RDA of iron,, Vit c and calcium

goingfor3 · 02/07/2007 11:43

Hello all,

Can anyone feel the baby move yet. I've been feeling mine for just over a week now. At first I was a bit unsre if it really was the baby but now I'm certain. Must be due to my super week stomach muscles!
