Barristermum - so lovely to hear from you. You havent been far from me in Portsmouth. So glad you had a good scan, little beanie moving and heart beating I hadnt thought about my naughty language.. my mum thinks I am a good girl Does your dp go away often? My dp is off to Japan next month for 2 weeks (over my birthday & graduation too ) Did ask if his work included family travel obv they dont, meanies.

Beller - I had stabby pains tonight, following playing with ds, he squished me. Pretty sure it was ligaments but did take my breath away.

11 Weeks tomorrw , the hospital called today and have me booked in for nuchal scan on 26th.. JUst over a weeks time. Is first thing in the morning and dp and ds are coming.

Too many shoes - glad you had a lovely time in the big apple, not at all jealous..

Naethea - fab news about your scan, are you uploading pics on your profile? Cant wait for mine as I will be 12+3.

MamaMaiasaura · 15/06/2007 21:29

Naetha read your profile, we have a bit in common (especially the geek bit ) I am currently into final fantasy at the moment. Used to be a biker but since pregnant with ds given it up. Still like the rock, indie music tho. The films, most of them on dvd shelf also got the book for princess bride . Dont have jilly cooper books tho

plummymummy · 15/06/2007 22:13

He he he your funny plummymummy. It starts again soon doesnt it? My hands gone right down today but still feels a bit stiff.
Feel pretty sick again too. Had breakfast and promptly bought it all back up again. Doesnt realy help when youve got a 3 year old knocking on the bathroom door asking 'what you doing Mummy?'.fruitful not sure where you live but if your kids are real Bob fans you realy should take them to the science museum to see his show. Its fantastic.
Have a good day all xx

beller · 16/06/2007 11:17

toomanyshoes- yes i do come into liverpool street, as we get bigger, if we are both around can grab cookies together and not feel guilty!! Hope you enjoyed dirty dancing!

barristermum- must have abeen a tiring week, hope you can put your feet up this weekend!

Pains this morning were not too bad, im trying to remember to fall to one side before getting up!
xx

Naetha · 16/06/2007 11:34

Best of luck for today goingfor3, I'm sure it will all go fine

Funny how much people have in common isn't it Awen! I was suprised how many rockers there were in the "should I go to gigs when pregnant" thread, but good on us all!

As for the biking, I've only really just got into it (such timing!) and passed my DAS test when I was 6 weeks gone! DH passed his test yesterday (in the pouring rain bless him!) so we're going to buy a big bike together that I can ride when I want

Thankfully only having cats and no children yet, the mysteries of cBeebies are lost on me at the moment! Give it a couple of years and I'm sure I'll be addicted!

Right, enjoying a breakfast of champions - hobnobs, peanut MnMs and a banana!

lisa111 · 16/06/2007 11:53

Hi Ladies,
I still like keeping tabs on you all, its been 3 weeks since my m/c, sex is now back on the menu with seconds . My heart goes out to skibump.

Toomanyshoes
This is so freaky, i was reading through only yesturday (is that spelt right?) checking how every1 was doing, and i thought were is that little jinx (remember someone one here is bound to have twins). Well as you know its not me but i cannot wait until JENSWISH has her scan, remember she is our hot favorite.

Jenswish after your scan let us know asap.

Good Luck Girls, i will be watchin xx

plummymummy · 16/06/2007 12:16

Hi lisa. Glad you are feeling ok and resuming normal duties iyswim Statistically I have a good chance of twins as I am tall, over 35, it is my 4th pregnancy and there are fraternal twins in my mums family (her siblings are twins). However, I don't feel sick enough so it can't be me. If it's Jenswish she will have her work cut out what with it being her first pregnancy, would be lovely too. As the saying goes - double the joy, double the trouble Gingeme - glad your hand is getting better. Naetha and Awen - Rock On

Jenswish · 16/06/2007 14:16

well, if I am having twins then i'm not sick enough but my belly is bigger than I would have thought it to be by now. (have out on 3 inches round my belly) some of which I'm sure is food but i'd have thought only about an inch of it cos i've been off my food a bit.

Have just come back from shopping for some more clothes as bigger boobs means all my tops have been lifted a bit too much plus bigger belly, work are going to figure it out soon.

Anyway as soon as I finally get a scan i'll let you all know. I'm still so of you all that have already seen the little 'uns.

Speak to ya all later.

HellKat · 16/06/2007 14:18

Sorry all, gatecrashing here.
Jenswish- just saw this. Wow CONGRATS!!!!!!! Well done.
Have wonderful pg's all.
xxxx

MamaMaiasaura · 16/06/2007 15:17

Midwife came round today and properly booked me in. She was lovely. SHe says I am 11+2 today, doesnt make that uch difference except closer to the 12 week milestone.

Have nuchal fold scan booked for 26th so looking forward to that. been feeling sck most of the day today. Am watching shark boy and lava girl with ds and dp right now so will pootle off.

Lots of love to you all, have lovely weekends. xx

LilyLoo · 16/06/2007 16:37

It's good to see everyone having scans it feels like the clocks ticking albeit very slowly will be so glad to have mine although a week and a half to go yet.
It's so weird despite all the sickness etc you just need to see everything is ok don't you ?
Welcome to all new ones.
I see theres a Feb thread now already , i know it will fly after this first scan.

nicky6 · 16/06/2007 19:13

well i am new to all this. I am 8 weeks pregnant due 28/1/08 am 35 and this is my first.

I did the first test and thought great , i have then felt so ill and disgusting thati convinced myslef that i had in fact contracted some terrible disease much to the amusement of my husband particularly when i did another test at 6 weeks just to check!

Anyway having read a few of your messages it would seem that feeling like death is par for the course.

Am usually so busy running around like a nutcase and now am struggling to get up without being sick to get to work ha ha - cant wait to hit 12 weeks and the scan. Am going to tell my mum next weekend - cant wait - no- one else knows and its killing me

plummymummy · 16/06/2007 19:26

Welcome Nicky. I'm same age as you and expecting my second around same date as you.

fruitful · 16/06/2007 19:33

Congrats Nicky! I'm also 35 and due then (although had a scan and they said the 30th). Its my third though. I feel like death most of the time as well, didn't feel this bad with the previous two and wasn't expecting it at all! Ooh I'm looking forward to August.

LilyLoo · 16/06/2007 19:59

Welcome Nicky it doesn't last (fingers crossed) hopefully the exhaustion and sickness wears away ! The only consolation is that it's here to reassure us when there aren't many visible signs.
We only told everyone this week as hit 11 weeks so had to let work know to get time off for scan. We had all the 'oh my god are you mad' comments but hey ho was prepared for it!

mummyto2littleprincess · 16/06/2007 20:21

god iv been so sick the past week cant wait until the sickness stops
im 10wks tommorrow

katyt1 · 16/06/2007 20:28

hi all

welcome nicky

i've been feeling pretty cr*p esp today. really lethargic, off food, no energy, tired, etc.
have let dh look after ds most of the day, lucky him! i get it all week so the weekend is such a relief at the mo.

sending non-sickness & high energy vibes to you all (and myself!) :'~~~~~~~':

spud01 · 16/06/2007 21:54

hello everyone, hope everyone ok. I have not been posting much lately but ive kept on reading though. I just want to add to a coversation about ms, im afraid that ms sickness doesnot always go at three months. With my first ms lasted all day everyday for 9 months, my ms lasted 7 1/2 months (he was prem). I think thats why im not getting much ms this time. Hope everyone is more luckier than i was when it comes to ms

LilyLoo · 17/06/2007 07:42

Morning all , am i mad ?
We have been up since 6.00 am and daddy is having a lie in for fathers day! Just been sick so trying to stomach some toast in between refereeing ds and dd who want to go wake daddy up and give him his presents, oh well this time next year it will probably be on a few hours sleep too
Hope everyone else feeling ok today x

LilyLoo · 17/06/2007 07:47

Anyone thought of any names yet ?
We really struggling for a girls one.

MamaMaiasaura · 17/06/2007 09:29

Not mad at all, very nice to you dp by the sounds of it

My dp was woken by ds at 7.30 this morning. Ds had jammed a bead up his nose. He is 7 and his description of how it happened was that it 'flew' up his nose. He tried to get it out with a pencil, but pushed it further up. Dp got it out, bless.

xx
