@Surprisedmom thank you!

Anyone else suffering with throat burn??

Camsie30 · 24/09/2018 19:08

@powkin not sure if it's too fast for you but Google Sonia Noy Pilates, she's an old friend of mine and does pregnancy Pilates one evening a week. I did the class last time and it was great.

Fredthespider · 24/09/2018 19:08

@AliceRR I also get SMP on top of the half pay when my policy reaches that point. Sadly mine isn't quite as good as yours. 6 weeks full, 12 weeks half plus SMP, then 21 weeks SMP, the last 13 weeks are unpaid. OH gets 6 months full pay so he's going to take over at the point I would drop to SMP.

emalady · 24/09/2018 19:24

@AliceRR My full pay is minus SMP then half pay plus SMP. I'm surprised it isn't more explicitly spelt out for you. Apparently if you have 2 jobs which both earn over the threshold you can claim SMP for both?? Unfortunately my second job pays significantly less than the threshold but it is only 4 hours per week!

AliceRR · 24/09/2018 19:26

I really don’t think it is clear in the policy. It just refers to enhanced pay and then ordinary pay or something

Lookingforadvice123 · 24/09/2018 19:30

AliceRR it's your employee enhanced package, whatever that is, then whenever that stops, you can claim statutory. So my employee package is 6 months full pay, so I will get that for 6 months - nothing on top - and then when that ends I'll claim the 12 week's statutory.

emalady · 24/09/2018 19:31

Actually I just realised my contract isn't where its clear, I got a letter from work confirming my planned maternity leave dates and pay, that's where it was written clearly. I don't know if that's usual practice or not.

Lookingforadvice123 · 24/09/2018 19:31

There might be t's and c's with your enhanced package, so for mine you have to be a permanent employee there for at least a year before going on maternity leave.

Lulabell1 · 24/09/2018 21:01

Every work place is different i get 90% for 6months then smp for 3months and 3 months unpaid going to take the whole year as this is last baby and im 24 so got a very long time till i will be work free again when I retire Grin 20weeks today and finally at that half way mark although im hoping he comes around 37weeks Hmm but tough chance with my luck in this pregnancy 2 A&E trips terrible back pain a UTI and full on sickness every day from 6weeks

lanalawr · 24/09/2018 21:37

@Lookingforadvice123 yes and that was just over two years ago! Only one person said it to me but it really worried me.

AutumnLee12 · 25/09/2018 08:31

Scan day today! Cannot wait to find out this little ones gender! Although I've suddenly become very nervous now the day is here! Good luck to everyone else with scans today!

Katinkak8 · 25/09/2018 08:36

@AutumnLee12 good luck with your scan. I hope baby is cooperative and you can find out the gender! We've got our scan today too. Also feeling nervous. Good luck to everyone else with scans today. Hope they all go well.

Lookingforadvice123 · 25/09/2018 10:03

Good luck AutumnLee12!

Alicejj8x · 25/09/2018 11:18

How is everyone today :)

19 weeks tomorrow and feeling lots of pokes and flutters :)

Apart from this horrible
Cold I've picked up & random morning sickness this morning I am feeling great :)

20 week scan next Friday nerves are starting to creep I

AutumnLee12 · 25/09/2018 12:44

It's a boy!! Very stubborn little man though as he refused to move his head out of my pelvis so they could look at his head! Got there in the end though Smile

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 25/09/2018 12:52

So many scans happening!! Good luck everyone!

I’ve got mine on Friday... feels like forever away 😂

Wames90 · 25/09/2018 13:14

That is exactly what mine was doing on my 20 week scan @AutumnLee! Glad you got there in the end though! My tummy did feel a little tender the next day from all the poking around but felt fine again after that!

Thesnobbymiddleclassone · 25/09/2018 13:20

Our scan is October 8 and it feels far too far away!

Baby160P · 25/09/2018 13:32

Congrats on the blue baby.

Our scan is 9th 😩 so far away!!!!

Just been for my first swim and first form of proper exercise yet. Felt Refreshing.

Just 20 casual lengths but happy now

Picklesandpies · 25/09/2018 14:04

Hi all,

Congratulations on all the scans. We've just had ours this morning and it was all fine but some measurements looked really big and I'm a bit worried now. I'd be so grateful if any of you are able to look at the post I've put in 'Pregnancy' under '20 week scan - measurements big. Hopefully I'm worrying about nothing!

X

Katinkak8 · 25/09/2018 14:18

@AutumnLee12 congratulations on your blue baby! All of our measurements were good too, although it sounds like our baby was as naughty as yours!
@Picklesandpies congratulations on the scan. Did anybody comment about the measurements? If they didn't, then I'm sure that they are absolutely fine. I'd be exactly the same as you though, worrying about everything! I hope all is ok.

Picklesandpies · 25/09/2018 14:28

@Katinkak8 She just said 'it isn't a small baby'... Confused

Katinkak8 · 25/09/2018 14:34

@Picklesandpies that's reassuring of her! Hmm Did she refer you to speak to anybody else about the measurements? It might just be a regular (albeit big!) baby!

maxiflump1 · 25/09/2018 14:38

Just had our scan and another little boy here! DS (3) will be happy as he's adamant he wanted a baby brother and not a sister! Think DH is relieved as if it was a girl I'd be spending a fortune on girls clothes!! So I'm destined to be surrounded by boys (even Ddog is a boy!!)

@Picklesandpies I think if there was anything concerning they would have referred you to a consultant. My cousin had an awful time throughout her pregnancy being told how big her baby was and had regular scans and hers came out as a normal 8lber at full term.

MrsY87 · 25/09/2018 14:42

@Picklesandpies I just commented on your post, try not to worry. My DS constantly measured off the charts & yes he was a big baby but not off the centiles big when he was born. A year on and he's still big, he was 1 3w age and is in 18-24m clothes!!
