Thanks! We are over the moon, although we didn't have a preference either way. It's nice to be able to call her our daughter now though :D

Baby160P · 22/09/2018 18:15

@Yakadee I did just think people may have announced early scan genders 🙈

Exciting. Girl clothes are sooooo lovely.

Yakadee · 22/09/2018 18:40

Yes, it's been nice saying 'she' x

KeepingTheFaith9 · 22/09/2018 20:35

Hello everyone. Mind if I join? I’m due Feb 9th (but doubt I’ll be allowed to g beyond 37 weeks) I’ve had a DD who came at 29 weeks in 2014 so anything past 30 will be a bonus to me tbh. I have my anomaly on Monday which I’m anxious about but hopefully all will be ok... I’ve had a lot of private scans already and know I’m having a boy 💙 .. x

KeepingTheFaith9 · 22/09/2018 20:39

Has anyone else been suffering with strange stretching? I’m hoping it’s round ligaments ... it’s been going on since Weds in and off.. feeling a bit anxious about them to be honest, rung the midwife who said unless I’m in bad pain and there’s blood then it’s prob just stretching as 20 weeks is when this kicks it big time 😯 x

Baby160P · 22/09/2018 21:26

@KeepingTheFaith9 I literally did another thread earlier as I was worried with some stretch pain like period pain kinda feeling and my tummy is sensitive like I've been to the gym all week. 😩

Baby160P · 22/09/2018 22:06

How many anterior placentas?

Have you felt movement yet?

KeepingTheFaith9 · 22/09/2018 22:28

Thanks Baby160 - it’s still worrying me as I had a placental abruption @ 29wks so anything that feels like a twinge freaks me out 😯 Regarding the Anterior P -I have one - I’m 20 weeks tomorrow - I’ve started to feel baby in last 10 days or so..🙏🏻

Thesnobbymiddleclassone · 22/09/2018 22:29

I'm anterior placenta and only just really get some movements now at 19 weeks with DC2.

I had quite a bit of trouble with it last pregnancy. It masked movements so much where I was being monitored and DD was jumping all over but I couldn't feel a thing!

KeepingTheFaith9 · 22/09/2018 22:30

PS: if you guys have a Facebook page, I’d love to join. Thanks. 😊

MrsY87 · 22/09/2018 22:38

Oh this thread moves so fast!

Reality is starting to sink in a bit now we know what they are and I'm in a sudden state of doubt about how I'm going to cope with twins & DD & DS! I've started getting some ideas of cost for some help but as I'm not working it's difficult to justify financially!

One of my placentas is anterior and the other posterior. I've felt movement on the posterior side for a good few weeks but only getting the odd movement now on the anterior side. No idea how I'm supposed to keep track of movement with twins either!

Anyone else planning on joining the fb page? It's so much easier to keep up with!

Baby160P · 22/09/2018 22:47

I've messaged to join twice in July and once in August and not had a invite. What's happening?

Since2016 · 22/09/2018 23:37

No real movement here yet which is freaking me out as I felt DD move early. But have had a scan and MW with Doppler so know all ok. Assume placenta is anterior but haven’t checked.

Not on FB anymore and not keen to join so hope this thread stays active!

lanalawr · 23/09/2018 00:31

Another anterior placenta here. I'm 20 weeks with number two and have only just started to feel this baby move. I had an anterior placenta last time too and didn't feel DD Monday until 22ish weeks. I also had issues a bit like @Thesnobbymiddleclassone where I couldn't feel her moving from the inside but could sometimes feel it with my hand.

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 23/09/2018 00:43

Anterior here too, been feeling baby for several weeks now, first visual kick today.

Most pregnancies are anterior placenta, so it’s actually rarer to not have that positioning.

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 23/09/2018 00:45

I won’t be joining any fb group either. I prefer the anonymity of this forum.

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 23/09/2018 00:46

Oh.. and I’m 19+2

MrsY87 · 23/09/2018 07:59

Oh that's strange @Baby160P maybe no one got your message or the invite has gone to your junk mail?. You can try pming me your email address your fb is registered with and then I'll send you an invite to the group which will go to your email, not A fb notification. You then click on the link to join the group. Let me know when you have sent me your email.

Fiep · 23/09/2018 08:51

I'm happy to add people to the Facebook group, you'd have to pm me your email address (the one you use for Facebook) and they'll email you an invitation - probably goes to spam or "promotions".

Also I've been reading this book and am finding it super interesting and definitely will inspire me and DH :)

Hi Ladies. Been a bit absent recently as been working away from home. Just turned 19 weeks with my first. Felt a little flutter in my tummy a few times this morning whilst I was relaxing in bed. Do you think that it is baby moving? Midwife said I might not feel anything until after 20 weeks but definitely thought I felt something this morning but I’ve got nothing to compare it to so a little unsure?

Baby160P · 23/09/2018 10:15

@MrsY87 thank you thy would be great. I've just messaged xx

Baby160P · 23/09/2018 10:17

Just found the invite in junk! I didn't realise it wasn't titled Facebook and the name of the person 🙈

Thank you anyway

Celebelly · 23/09/2018 10:19

I thought about joining the FB group but I actually like that FB is a pregnancy-free zone where I can just go and be 'me', if that makes sense. I worry that I'd become consumed by being pregnant if I saw it everywhere, so I hope this thread stays active as I like being able to check in and read/post when I feel I want to.

Koalatom1 · 23/09/2018 10:58

Yea if anyone wants to join the fb page then let me know.

@celebelly if I did that to my fb then I’d never go on - most of my stuff is baby/toddler/child related now!

sickmumma · 23/09/2018 10:59

Sorry sounds really silly but how do I private message from the app?
