MrsFish · 24/06/2007 21:52

muppetgirl - that is so funny

I have done the same, along with cake and chocolate

alicet · 24/06/2007 21:53

Oohh I want chocolate mousse now too!! DOn't know whats wrong with me - normally I'm happy with savoury stuff and have loads of scrummy stuff in my fridge that I DON'T WANT!!

MrsFish · 24/06/2007 21:54

Right, am off to bed, night all

muppetgirl · 24/06/2007 21:56

Night all too, husband just come back from run and must go to bed (not via the fridge..) Catch up with you all tomorrow

alicet · 24/06/2007 21:57

OK have just had another rummage through my cupboards and have found a solitary sachet of cadburys hot choc drink. It expired in Aug 2004!!!!! Am I minging if I drink it anyway? I mean what is there in it that could be bad for you?

alicet · 24/06/2007 22:00

It tastes fine! Trying to ignore the fact it is a bit grim to have something so far out of date as I really need it!

Sleep well all - off to my pit too.

If you carry on at this rate inzi there will be so much chocolate in the way they won't be able to see lo on your scan tomorrow!!!!

Just jealous - ignore me!!!

alicet · 24/06/2007 22:05

Actually just as I pressed return I realised that was in very poor taste given how anxious you are at the mo. Really really sorry if I have offended you. Was totally meant as a joke xxx

ejt1764 · 24/06/2007 22:08

I need chocolate .... and it's all your fault!!!!!!!!

tinytotmummy · 24/06/2007 22:10

Starburst and jellytots, mmmmmmmmm. Dh refuses to hop over the back fence and go to the garage to get me some

Apparently being pregnant is not an excuse for him being slave to my every whim and fancy...

Comprimising with large bar of tesco milk choc. He is sharing with me

Muppetgirl, I used to eat the kids chocolate pots with the fridge door open so they wouldn't see me! In fact, I sneak loads of the kids food..so naughty but good!

nellieloula · 25/06/2007 08:10

morning everyone - inzi, good luck today. thinking of you and hope it all goes well and that you can enjoy it. very interesting cravings there last night! I still can't put my finger on what it is I want to eat (how annoying is that!) - mostly savoury though. so any sweet ideas appreciated! Also, how do you update the scan list - can't seem to be able to ever had my details on to it. Could someone let me know cause otherwise I'll just keep feeling left out!!

hope everyone has a good monday. take care

MrsFish · 25/06/2007 08:20

nellie - just copy and paste it into your posting window, add amend your part

Inzi - good luck for today.

Well I feel fine again now, had a really good nights sleep

Anyone else got really awful weather this morning, its really stormy here, the electric has gone off once already

muppetgirl · 25/06/2007 08:27

Hi all, can I add my details too?
Our weather is foul at the mo and I've got to take the car to the garage to have an estimate after i hit the gate at ds's nursery. Had to own up as he could be heard saying to anyone who'd listen 'mummy hit the gate'.
Am sooo tired, really feel like i've got a hangover (chance would be a fine thing!)
Back to cravings my friend's sister craved mustard powder all throughout and she even had to have a packet of it in her car...!
Just off now to brave the weather, good luck to inzi for your scan. Will be back later as intend on spending the rest of the day watching telly as to wet to do anything else!

FloriaTosca · 25/06/2007 08:29

Ohh! What a fab chat you lot had last night...catching up has made me crave angel delight, chocolate mousse and Thorntons for breakfast!
Tinytotmummmy, welcome! I know how you feel about DHs not undertanding the "fetch me carry me" rules of pregnacy; my Dh has gained quite a bit of weight recently and after 2 separate comments made by friends this weekend ("thought it was her that was pregnant!" & "you coming out in sympathy?")he wouldnt fetch me anything "bad" if I begged on my knees on the principle that he wouldnt be able to resist sharing it and with "Shrek and Fiona" for parents, the poor LO is genetically going to be inclined to tubbyness, so we need to develop better heating habits now!...See!...doesnt understand the craving thing at all!

On Saturday night I saw the friend who is due on July 15th....last week, with 4 weeks to go,they were measuring the baby as being 10-12 lb! This week she seems to have grown even bigger !!! As a singer, those lower tummy muscles are so very important to me I would avoid a C-section at almost all costs; but if this LO gets as big as hers I think I'll be begging for one!!!!! I can't believe she's still intending to deliver naturally!!!! This is the first time I have thought about delivery seriously (after 6 previous losses, just getting to term is the furthest my imagination could manage) and must admit to some considerable trepiadation if I got as big as that.

Off now for dog walk in the pouring rain followed by a hot shower and then off to St Marys for my scan and 25 week AN appointment. I'll check in tonight and give you an update.
Have a great day everyone...esp thinking of you Inzi, Alice and J20. Ooh and also hope your pain doesnt get any worse ejt.

alicet · 25/06/2007 09:09

Well i didn't die in the night after my horrendously out of date chocolate drink and feel fine! Here's hope I'm not speaking too soon....

Dh is back mid afternoon so we will do something nice as a family this pm - depends on weather I guess which is awful here too. He has been getting a crash course in night shifts with a tiny baby the last 2 nights so he will be shattered bless him. He was great last time but we shared it mostly rather than doing the whole lot.

Thinking of floria and inzi and your scans today with everything crossed...

Hope you manage to get some joy from your mw J20 and hope you're feeling better ejt.

Big waves to everyone else

tinytotmummy · 25/06/2007 10:04

Floria - lol, we are shrek and fiona here too!! Although DH failed his recent fitness test (Navy), so he is in the gym every lunchtime and also cycling an 8 mile round trip to work. So looks like I'm going to be porky on my own!!

Good luck for you scan today

Alice, glad your chocolate was ok!

j20baby · 25/06/2007 10:26

hi all,

what a crap day!

after being rudely got out of bed at 11.30 last night by my very drunk friend, who was crying because his grandma had died on sat night, bless him, he ended up sleeping on my couch, i finally got to bed about 1am and couldn't get comfortable, with back ache and such like, then was woke by dd this morning moaning because he was on her couch and she wanted to watch tv!

anyway, got in the car to take dd to school, (it is all flooded round me again) and my car wouldn't start, rung my mum to come and jump me off and it still wouldn't work, so my mum gave us a lift to school and i rung work to say i wouldn't be going in as i was soaking wet and feel crap anyway, got in the house and my toilet is gurgling and backing up, hope it doesn't flood!

anyway, i'll get to the point, rung day unit and they told me to take paracetemol and see how i go, if the pain doesn't wear off then i'll have to go in, started feeling a bit flu-y now as well, and also very constipated and can't find any laxatives and my piles are huge(sorry if tmi)

so i think i will sit here and feel sorry for myself, don't know what i'm going to do about the car.

inzi and FT - thinking about you, hope your scans are ok
