I'm so sorry @DartmoorDoughnut

I posted before reading, I really didn't mean to be insensitive.

Sending hugs ❤️

TheMagicTorch · 23/08/2018 19:02

@DartmoorDoughnut I'm so so sorry darling. All the best take care of yourself Flowers

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 23/08/2018 19:02

So sorry Dartmoor, this early bit is so tough I’m not counting my chickens I keep feeling like I’m imagining it. I hope you have family support and can neck a glass of wine and put your feet up x Flowers

TheMagicTorch · 23/08/2018 19:02

@AmyRhodes yup definitely! I just can't wait to see a little bean on the screen and confirm I'm not mental 😂

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 23/08/2018 19:04

Amy I told the dr today today and she said I should get an appointment letter within the next 2 weeks I’m not it will be real until I’ve had a scan.

Alohomora07 · 23/08/2018 19:07

I'm so sorry @DartmoorDoughnut hope you're taking good care of yourself Flowers

Treaclepie19 · 23/08/2018 19:11

Im so very sorry @DartmoorDoughnut Flowers
Thinking of you.

Treaclepie19 · 23/08/2018 19:12

@AmyRhodes I've seen the tiny flickering heartbeat and still worried there's nothing there 😂
Today is one of those days when I just want it to be scan day. I reckon that won't be until end of Sept or start of Oct.

DartmoorDoughnut · 23/08/2018 19:21

@AmyRhodes honestly don’t worry about it Flowers

Thank you so much for all the good thoughts, I’m ‘lucky’ really, this is my first miscarriage (38) and I already have two gorgeous boys so I know how happy and excited you all are Grin

Wishing you all happy healthy pregnancies. Take bump shots, you’ll miss the bump bizarrely when is gone even if you don’t like it when you’re big (I always look like a ball as I’m so short!) Oh and when your milk comes in take a photo of the baby next to your ginormous boobs trust me it’s hilarious!! Oh and on breastfeeding the first time around it HURTS to get established, lanisoh and air your boobs!

Good luck you lovely ladies Flowers Wine

AmyRhodes · 23/08/2018 19:25

Thank you for your lovely post @DartmoorDoughnut ❤️

Give your little ones a big squidge and order a take-away ❤️❤️❤️

AmyRhodes · 23/08/2018 19:27

@Treaclepie19 @TheMagicTorch

I have my early scan next Sunday. I'll be 8 weeks exactly. I can't wait.

I left it til 8 weeks because that will give me a pretty definitive prognosis for the rest of the pregnancy.

italianwifey · 23/08/2018 19:36

So so sorry to hear @dartmoordoughnut. Hope OH is looking after you.
@amyrhodes yep, it felt real for a day or two after the last scan I had but now just feels strange again!

Treaclepie19 · 23/08/2018 19:39

I'm wishing I'd waited tbh. I needed it at 6 weeks though as I was sure everything was lost after the bleeding.
Ah well. I keep joking about booking another scan. I won't :p

TheMagicTorch · 23/08/2018 19:46

@AmyRhodes Oh yay my scan is next Sunday too! I'll be 7 weeks, or 7+1. I couldn't wait another week 🙊hope we both get a good scan x

Braverthanweare · 23/08/2018 20:02

I wish I could do a private scan! I'm 8 weeks 4 days and the scan feels forever away!

AmyRhodes · 23/08/2018 20:12

@Treaclepie19 I'm sure the next scan will be fine 🌺

@TheMagicTorch 🤞🤞🤞 Seriously cannot wait.

@Braverthanweare Is it a cost thing stopping you? Most cities have a private scan place x

Braverthanweare · 23/08/2018 20:14

@amyrhodes yeah I can't find one for cheaper than £80 here! Annoyingly gender scans are a lot cheaper Hmm

sachabloom · 23/08/2018 20:17

So sorry @DartmoorDoughnut thank you for sharing your tips. Best wishes going forward xxxxxx

AmyRhodes · 23/08/2018 20:23

It is a bit steep 🙈 @Braverthanweare

When's your 12 week? I'm sure it will be worth the wait!

Braverthanweare · 23/08/2018 20:26

@AmyRhodes no idea! Midwives won't see you till 9 weeks ish and than you get a letter after that for the scan :(

AmyRhodes · 23/08/2018 20:29

@Braverthanweare It feels mad when you've not seen anyone and everyone is just taking your word for it that you're pregnant!

Fluffy475 · 23/08/2018 21:04

@DartmoorDoughnut sorry to hear your sad news, hope you're ok xx

ashley992 · 23/08/2018 21:07

Has anyone been tracking their temperatures? Mine's only 36.8 ish and I've read somewhere in early pregnancy it should be about 37.8?!

donna474 · 23/08/2018 21:31

@Braverthanweare, where abouts are you? Maybe worth looking a bit further afield for a cheaper scan and spend a little on petrol? It's £55 by me and then £45 if you have another scan after.

Footymum81 · 23/08/2018 22:25

Had my first appointment today. Doctor gave me my medical exemption form, urine sample form and Emma's Diary, took blood pressure and weight and checked my medication was all ok. Now I have to contact the local midwife service to get an appointment with them.
I applied online for my dating scan appointment and got it through fairly quickly. I'll be 12+3 then.
