Thank you. I am very worried it’s all too good to be true. Scan is Wednesday at 3pm.

So sorry unicorn Flowers

ashley992 · 07/10/2018 16:27

Anyone else 'popped'? I feel like I'm showing way too early with a first!

I’m a size 16 so too fat to tell really.

ChocolateChipMuffin2016 · 07/10/2018 17:21

Me too @NothingisForgotten Grin I just look fatter!

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 07/10/2018 17:30

Ha @Ashley992 I was thinking ‘that’s an interesting skirt’ until I opened properly and realized it was a towel! I think I need an eye test :)
Your bump looks great!
I’ve definitely popped, but I had twins last time so I imagine lots of space to move into. Weirdly I was convinced I was feeling flutters, I’m only 12 weeks. I’ve googled and apparently it is possible to feel butterfly like movement this early in pregnancy second time round, but lots of reports say this means a big personality. There are already a lot of big personalities in our house so not sure that’s a good thing....

39Suzy · 07/10/2018 17:51

@sheratheallpowerful i have sworn i have felt little flutters this last week despite only being 12w 4d. I googled it and apparently it is just wind but it feels exactly the same as last time did about 15 weeks when it started.

My belly has popped too, i feel enormous!

SPR1107 · 07/10/2018 18:05

@SheRaTheAllPowerful and @39Suzy I've been feeling flutters since 11 weeks, I filmed it and saw it outside the Tummy, at 12 weeks my husband felt it from outside too. Had my scan last week and said when I could feel them and the person doing the ultrasound confirmed that I could. So it's definitely possible. She said with it being my second it can be more likely. When I'm in the bath I can really feel it too

39Suzy · 07/10/2018 18:52

@spr1107 😁👍

Griffer · 07/10/2018 19:46

I've looked very pregnant for weeks! I'm now 14+5. I've put it down to extreme bloat, because it changes size throughout the day

italianwifey · 07/10/2018 21:07

@ashley992 I think I have too! I was worrying It seems a bit early but also very chuffed that I’m starting to look pregnant!
@spr @39suzy and @sheratheallpowerful that’s so exciting! I’ve lied in bed trying to tell if I can feel anything but nothing yet haha. It’s all so exciting!

ashley992 · 07/10/2018 21:32

@italianwifey is it your first baby?

italianwifey · 08/10/2018 09:08

@ashley992 yes it is!

ChocolateChipMuffin2016 · 08/10/2018 09:31

@italianwifey with my first I didn't feel any movements till 22-24 weeks! And even then it was very light, so don't be disheartened if you don't feel anything for a while. My placenta was at the front which did impact how much I could feel.
I'm hoping it won't be as long this time, but I'm not expecting to feel anything (except wind Blush) for a while yet!

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 08/10/2018 09:50

Yes it means you still have good stomach muscles!

WhereistheWit · 08/10/2018 10:21

Hello again everyone! So I’ve contacted the hospital and they’re going to try and get me in for a dating scan to do nuchal but the phone call was quite confusing so fingers crossed.

I had my private dating scan yesterday which pushed me forward to 13+2. Quite surprising as I was about 5 days out and usually I’m bang on but my cycles have been a bit funny since having DS2 so who knows when I might have ovulated! All is looking well and the baby was wriggling about loads. She couldn’t get a proper check of the brain due to the babies position and also ‘maternal habitus’ which is a medical term for I’m a fatty Blush but to be fair I expected it because I’ve really struggled with my weight since second baby.

Also I’m convinced I’ve been feeling movements as well! Little bubble pops all through my stomach. It’s amazing because i usually only feel movement really late on!

Also think i’ll be booking in for a gender scan at 16 weeks. I don’t have any feelings of what it might be but me and DP are thinking boy as we have two boys already. It’s always been my dream to have a little girl but my boys are the absolute loves of my life so I don’t mind being over run 3 - 1 on boys haha!

WhereistheWit · 08/10/2018 10:25

I was going to ask her to try get a good shot of the nub but I daren’t ask when she was struggling so much getting a decent picture!

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 08/10/2018 10:26

Great photo @WhereistheWit I would totally harass the hospital if I were you, they have to do the scan by 13&6 so I would call every couple of hours today, they’ll get so fed up they’ll just book you in. Don’t take no for an answer and ask them to escalate your call x

MigMog · 08/10/2018 10:32

It's nearly scan time. Wish me luck!

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 08/10/2018 10:35

Good luck @MigMog I ha e to wait until Sunday! At least it’s less than a week now :)

italianwifey · 08/10/2018 10:46

@shera and @migmog good luck hope they go really well! @whereisthewit that sounds really annoying, lovely scan pic u have there I hope the hospital get it sorted soon. @chocolatechipmuffin2016 thanks I’ll bear that in mind - something else to look forward to I guess! This is my (very small!) bump at the mo:

SPR1107 · 08/10/2018 10:56

Good luck to scans today! Lovely picture @WhereistheWit.
Can definitely see some bump definition there @italianwifey.

I've caved and called the doctors for some help with sickness. I was sick 5/6 times a day with DS1 and could handle it fine.
This time it's only really once or twice a day but it's causing migraines, dizzy spells, I've lost 5lbs (don't know if that's dangerous in pregnancy or not?) and I have a chest syndrome which it has caused a flare up with and I can't take my medication when pregnant. Hoping they don't just say it's tough luck!
Can't believe I got to like 10 weeks without feeling fine, and then the last 3 weeks has been a mare.. I shouldn't have counted my chickens!

SPR1107 · 08/10/2018 10:58

Just realised what a moaning Minnie I sound there!
