My scan is on a Sunday do you think it’s a bad idea to take my girls (aged 8)

I’m feeling quite grumpy and emotional, am so fed up of feeling & being sick, but obviously thrilled to be having another baby. I have quite a lot on my plate at the moment work wise with a deadline, and am tired.

SheRa you might want to check your instructions from the hospital. I'm pretty sure mine says I can only take one person to my scan, possibly even just one adult[?], with me. Although they probably do vary... (Also, chin up - hopefully the sickness should be gone soon. Mine's definitely improved in the last week or so I am still knackered though...)

SheRa I really hope it gets better for you soon! I’m also feeling a bit better so fingers crossed it happens for you soon!

My scan is at 3pm today and I am so nervous! Did everyone else feel nervous too?

Good luck @unicornxo I think it’s normal to feel nervous.
@newrubylane it just says no under 5’s I think I might go in on my own and let them do the measurements then let them come and see at the end. Hoping all is well :)

For the first time mums who are feeling anxious, when you hit around 16 weeks onwards and start feeling baby move it does make you feel a lot better as you are reassured much more frequently than having to wait for scans :)

@unicornxo I was really nervous for mine yesterday but all was fine! I got told off for having such high blood pressure by the nurse who told

I wasn't sure about joining, as I'm still nervous about everything. This is my first pregnancy. I'm 39, have been off birth control for 9 years, and had been referred for IVF (2 years ago) but unable to get my BMI down enough to be on the list. Complete surprise - lot of personal stress and even thought early menopause!

Currently 11wk5d and just crossing everything until I get a scan date. Currently have BMI of 35, but haven't really gained any weight since I found out as mostly want to eat veg - and not my usual chocolate and crisps!

@Nothingisforgotten welcome and congrats I think I’m eating all the chocolate for everyone, my last pregnancy I craved tomatoes and spinach! This one it’s just sugar. I lost a fair amount of weight last pregnancy. I’m sure your midwife will support if you are worried, when is your scan? I’ll be 39 when this one is born :)

Not good news for me again. My second MMC and it seems it stopped growing just after our last private scan. I wish you all healthy pregnancies xx

@Unicornxo I'm so sorry to hear that- have had 2 MMCs and they're horrendous, you feel so betrayed. Be kind to yourself xx
