@unicornxo I got mine at booking appointment and it was for 3 and a half weeks after my appointment at 12w6d

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 18/09/2018 17:43

@unicornxo I had my booking appointment last week on Monday and still don’t have my scan date but the midwife said it will be between the 6th & 20th October as they have to do it before 13&6 if I don’t get by the end of the week I will check though

Shk38 · 18/09/2018 22:09

@Annie264 I'm also 12+1 and have my scan on Thursday too. I'm so nervous. Good luck.

Annie264 · 19/09/2018 07:51

@Shk38 good luck to you too! Let me know how it goes!

OhFlipMama · 19/09/2018 08:15

Hello! I've found you all!

I did a test three weeks ago which indicated I was 2-3 weeks pregnant (clearblue) am I right that I'd be about 9 weeks now?

My periods were a muddle so I'm confused! Not feeling as queasy as I was a week/two weeks ago, but eating little and often!

This is my 3rd baby and was a bit of a surprise!

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 19/09/2018 13:14

@OhFlipMama welcome & Congratulations.

Do you have a scan booked in? That should help with dates. 3rd baby for me too although 1&2 are twins :)

Ohnonotanotherusername · 19/09/2018 15:33

12 week scan done and all ok! Phew, such a week. Measurements had me at 12+5, which is bang on what I thought.

No scan yet, actually I haven't even seen a midwife yet! I'm going to at the end of next week. They're so busy. I didn't phone early enough either as my husband and I were actually in two minds about this pregnancy, as awful as it sounds. I think I'm finally accepting it and feeling quite happy about it all. I had wondered if I'd be able to accept the pregnancy it was that much of a shock. So it's a relief to feel a little tinge of excitement now and again!

OhFlipMama · 19/09/2018 16:06

@Annie264 I get the nervousness too - as I did one clearblue and that was it! My first sign was ligaments pulling in my stomach, with tender breasts. I feel like my symptoms are easing which is good as I no longer feel as queasy and sick, but I feel like I need further confirmation.

BeeKeeping · 19/09/2018 16:09

Lovely scan @Ohnonotanotherusername! Proper wee baby! ☺️ Xx

Ohnonotanotherusername · 19/09/2018 16:28

@BeeKeeping thanks! It's so weird! We could see it's little fingers on the screen. Absolutely nuts.

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 19/09/2018 16:38

Loving the scan pics! Still haven’t even got mine scheduled in!

Annie264 · 19/09/2018 16:39

@Ohnonotanotherusername lovely picture, very pleased for you! Do you mind me asking if you drank the obligatory pint of water before? I'm worried about my bladder holding for mine tomorrow!

@OhFlipMama it's so weird isn't it!! Just need someone to say "yes you're definitely pregnant and have in no way imagined all the home tests and symptoms and lack of period"!!!

Rapunzel91 · 19/09/2018 16:41

Those scan pics look amazing!

I told my sisters today at 10+5 and they were so excited! It was so sweet and felt so good to tell someone. I’m telling my parents tomorrow, going to give them a mug each that says grandmother and grandfather and see their reaction 😊

Ohnonotanotherusername · 19/09/2018 16:41

@Annie264 I did and my bladder was too full, so I had to empty it quite a bit. The sonographer said to me that your bladder only needs to be about half full. Good luck tomorrow!

Ohnonotanotherusername · 19/09/2018 16:42

@Rapunzel91 that's such a cute idea! Good luck!

purplestar9 · 19/09/2018 19:36

Hello everyone, I was on the last thread but I've been a bit AWOL the last couple of weeks. Hope you don't mind me joining you again :)

I'm 27, 8+1 today, expecting our first baby 30th April :)
I have been feeling sick if I get hungry, but also struggling to eat so it's been feeling like a vicious circle. And I have anxiety about being/feeling sick so of course that makes it worse. But I feel I am dealing with it a little better now and hopefully I'll start to feel a little more normal soon :) also, knackered!
How is everyone?

39Suzy · 19/09/2018 22:20

@paperlanterns i am 9+6 and have had a bit of browny bloody mucus twice in the last few weeks (literally one wipe then it was gone although once after sex 😉). I had a stillbirth in April so think my cervix is pretty soft still as never had any spotting last time. I had a second scan two days ago and all was fine. I think unless it turns heavy or is bright red it is pretty normal.

Hi ladies can i chime in here. I was in the may thread but sounds like you ladies are more in line with me!
@purplestar9 we are due date buddies ive been dying to find somebody close to my dd. I'm 27 and 8+2 Due also April 30th also!
Bar niggles in my tummy and not much appetite im pretty much symptom free!

purplestar9 · 20/09/2018 13:48

@Lorrie3 hello! You're the first I've found with the same due date too! I've been dealing with feeling sick whenever I'm hungry (all the time!) but loss of appetite also so bit of a vicious circle going on over here! Think it's getting better. I have to eat small amounts but often to get it at bay! Mornings are the worst though. Let's hope you keep with the no symptoms! I'm trying to count myself lucky that this is all I have because I know it could be so much worse!

Lorrie3 · 20/09/2018 15:14

@purplestar9 its great to have found this April group. It's my first baby too...still not over the shock!
Today was the first day I ate lunch in a while i usually get pretty hungry at dinner time and then get about half way through and feel sick and full but it goes away after a while.

OhFlipMama · 20/09/2018 16:57

Oh my goodness. Hello exhaustion! I seem to have a couple of okay days then a wiped out one. Trying to hide it at work!

PaperLanterns · 20/09/2018 17:20

Thanks! I think it might have been loo strain...😷

My only real symptoms are tiredness (can’t stay up after 9) and the constipation.

We’re going to tell our parents at the weekend and I feel really nervous because it’ll all get real and I’ll have to answer questions and stuff! I’m still coming to grips with it myself!

purplestar9 · 20/09/2018 17:35

@Lorrie3 have you got any kids in your family? It is our first also but I do have 7 nieces and nephew and another one due in the next couple of weeks! As you can probably tell I'm the last out of my siblings (and whole generation) to be having kids!

Lorrie3 · 20/09/2018 17:55

@purplestar9 no none on my side it will be the first! I'm the eldest and have brothers only. On himself side there are 3 nieces with the youngest being 14 so it's been a while! They won't suspect us i think as its a total surprise
