Ohnonotanotherusername · 14/09/2018 18:53

So sorry to hear this @cookielove I hope you're being well looked after xxx

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 14/09/2018 21:53

cookie I also hope you’re being well looked after. You must feel terrible.

monkerina that’s interesting intel on the anti-D! I have had it twice before but maybe won’t have to have it this time.

I know there’ve been a few bad scans in the group. I hope everyone is ok.

Footymum81 · 15/09/2018 13:40

Sorry to hear your sad news @cookielove, thinking of you

Footymum81 · 15/09/2018 13:45

Finally had my booking in appt today 11+0 and had bloods taken at the same time. Was at the hospital and could hear some very tiny baby cries while we were there. Also found where the ultrasound dept is for next week, and checked the price of scan photos (£15 for 5, £10 for 3 or £4 for one) as we wanted to make sure we had enough money with us!

Smafa · 15/09/2018 13:59

Good luck @Footymum81

We now have early scan next week, due to my age, & some spotting which Doc didn't think was UTI.

Excited & terrified in roughly equal measure...

monkerina · 15/09/2018 17:58

Hello all! I was just about to ask how you got on @smafa Smile

Good luck @footymum! And good luck on Monday @Suzy.

SO TIRED today I can barely keep my eyes open. DS is also overtired and acting up. DH is the only one actually snoozing on the sofa though!!

Treaclepie19 · 15/09/2018 18:29

Good luck with the scans ladies.

I've got back ache tonight just one one particular place. Hoping it's not a UTI but going to see how it goes. I had a request for another urine sample last week so it could be theoretically but that was from 2 weeks ago.
I'm getting all the early pregnancy aches, pains and heaving now. Which is a little reassuring I suppose.
Counting down to scan on Friday!

Stargirl7 · 16/09/2018 12:43

Hi all,

Late to the party here. This will be our second after our DD in 2014. We had a pretty stressful first pg so has taken us a while to try again. Due 12th April roughly.
We’ve had two scans so far. Had a ten week one yesterday, mainly because we had the panorama test alongside it. Had to have aminio etc in first one at 24 weeks (they didn’t catch a defect until that point) , so throwing every test at this one in advance 😂
Feeling sick as a dog this time too and pretty bunged up?! Didn’t have any symptoms apart from sore boobs with my DD, so thinking this is a boy or nature’s way of paying me back? Hope it passes soon.

Hope you’re all doing well so far x

BeeKeeping · 17/09/2018 16:01

12 week scan this morning! T’was very exciting... happy healthy little bean measuring 11+5 which fits with my dates. Due 3rd of April. It was like a proper wee baby, all curled up asleep... the sonographer asked me to shake my hips to wake it up. Amazing to see it stretching its wee legs and arms and jumping around like ‘hey!! I’m sleeping, stop with the shaking!’ ☺️

Hopefully it’ll come out and chill and sleepy in 6 months too

Wow! @BeeKeeping that's so exciting! I have mine on Wednesday and I am bricking it - haven't had any early scans so this will be my first.

Congratulations on the scan!

PaperLanterns · 17/09/2018 17:27

Hi. First baby at 36 - 9 weeks and due on Easter Sunday! 🐥

Have booked a private scan for Saturday as I just don’t feel like it’s real!

Been a bit crampy today with some blood tinged mucousy discharge (tmi😂) but everything I look up kind of applies to me but it doesn’t, if you get what I mean!

I basically just want my own private midwife reassuring me all the time! 😂

Braverthanweare · 17/09/2018 17:33

First scan tomorrow so excited and nervous!

TheMagicTorch · 17/09/2018 19:00

@BeeKeeping awww lovely pictures!

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 17/09/2018 20:01

Lovely picturesBee, good luck everyone for scans coming up :)

Treaclepie19 · 17/09/2018 21:51

Aww @Beekeeping how lovely! Hi baby :)

5tarlight · 17/09/2018 22:46

Ahh that's lovely @beekeeping 😊

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 18/09/2018 09:46

Good luck for today @Braverthanweare

I am feeling soooo tired, have come back to bed with a cup of tea. Just would like a bit more energy and a house elf to clean & cook.

How is everyone else feeling? Are those due early April feeling better yet?

unicornxo · 18/09/2018 11:32

Hi everyone.

How long did people's scan dates take to come through after they saw the midwife at their booking appointment?

I will be 10 weeks on Thursday and my midwife can't see me until next Wednesday due to her being on holiday. I'll be nearly 11 weeks, she didn't seem concerned but I just wondered how long they usually take. Smile

monkerina · 18/09/2018 11:53

Lovely pics @Beekeeping! Good luck @Braverthanweare x

11+5 and although still tired, not nauseous or vomming any more!! Although have probably cursed myself to more vomming now.

Scans- my experience is that they come through quickly, and the 12 week scan is any time up to 14 weeks so try not to worry!

MigMog · 18/09/2018 12:19

I'm 10.3 feeling OK. Still shattered. Not had any sickness so far (fingers crossed that stays). Had midwife a week ago and still awaiting my appointment date. Hope it doesn't take long.

Full of cold still after a week. So congested and gutted I can't take any decongestants. Any suggestions anyone how to ease this and help me breath again?

Annie264 · 18/09/2018 12:54

Hi everyone, I'm 12+1 today and have my scan on Thursday. Really nervous too as feel like no one has "officially" told me I'm pregnant, the GP and midwife just took my word for it! (Although I did do 4 home tests!)

Main symptoms have been severe bloating, nausea and fatigue, although was starting to ease over last week or so. Had no sickness until...BOOM yesterday at dead on 12 weeks!!! Thought it was supposed to be easing by now, not getting worse!!! Feel so rough!!
