Anyone else?

I have quite long cycles but using OPKs, I have a rough idea of when I ovulated and have just got the faintest of lines. So 30 April or 1 May for me! Eek.

Booked my midwife appointment today, still feel so nervous about people's reactions to baby number 3!!! Don't want anyone outside of mine and dhs bubble to know!!!! Haha

Firstbornunicorn · 07/09/2018 17:58

@kiltedsheep, my GP explained to me that it's about weighing up the risks Vs the benefits. I was really quite unwell at the end of last year, so sticking with the sertraline seemed the obvious choice. She did say that there was some research that suggested it could make your child more prone to behavioural issues, but nothing has been conclusively proven. I think we'll be fine!

LittleTipple · 07/09/2018 18:22

@UntilTheVeryEnd aah thank you. It's so lovely to be back in the same boat again. I'm thrilled it's happened so quickly, but very nervous. I seem to be having more pinching/twinges, so hoping it's burrowing in well! Having some non-alcoholic fizz for a mini, not counting our chickens celebration!

@minnierose3 ooh yes, baby number 3 Club. Why are you nervous of people's reactions? How old are your DCs? It's my Mum I'm nervous of telling - she thinks two is a nice neat number and three is too many Grin

fadgadget · 07/09/2018 18:34

Congrats to all the recent joiners :)

I've definitely been having some nausea in the last few days but mostly when I am getting hungry as several of you have been saying, just need to remember to snack. I'm predicting it will get much worse of course.

Wishing you all the best @excitingthingsahead and have a FUN weekend trying some more! xxx

minnierose3 · 07/09/2018 19:16

They are 4&2 but I have a boy and girl and sooo many people say "you've got enough now" etc etc. Yes my mum and dad will think I've lost the plot and have already said they won't babysit 3 children 😂 they will be mortified I think. Oh well. Ahh it's nice you're so excited @LittleTipple I,m still in the nervous/anxious/omg how the hell will we cope stages 😂😂

LittleTipple · 07/09/2018 19:34

@minnierose3 I have two boys, so I think the only thing that would sway my mum is if this one was a girl! She dotes on the boys, but I know she'd have loved a granddaughter. I defo have the panic phase, it took months to finally decide to try for a third. Mine are 3 and 1, but I'm late thirties so didn't want to hang around. It's going to be absolute chaos, but my long term vision is a full dining table, lots of chat and laughter and family traditions.

minnierose3 · 07/09/2018 19:45

Yeah I'm the same @littletipple, always wanted a big family! Let the chaos commence! Xx

SurfingOwl · 07/09/2018 19:49

@Lizzybeth123 of course but I need your Facebook email address as the group invite goes out via it.

SurfingOwl · 07/09/2018 19:50

I really haven’t felt pregnant today. I’m also not going to be able to have an early scan for over a week, which won’t help my anxiety.

How is everyone else doing?

SurfingOwl · 07/09/2018 19:51

We have the same long term vision @LittleTipple

seeingdots · 07/09/2018 20:14

Hi and welcome @BuntyII and @LittleTipple!

I feel wretched today. I'm home with DD on Thurs-Fri and today I didn't manage to get us out the house today at all. Strangely though my boobs aren't particularly sensitive at all despite the hormones going into overdrive.

Nulanoo · 07/09/2018 20:20

I feel the same About this being our third. I know it’s going to be crazy busy but I just want them to all have each other and to have a lovely busy house

ttcat32 · 07/09/2018 20:25

@SurfingOwl same, I don't feel any different other than sore boobs. It's worrying when everyone is talking about symptoms and I can't relate! It's my first so no idea what's normal and part of me doesn't feel like it's really happening if that makes sense

SurfingOwl · 07/09/2018 20:56

@ttcat32 same here about it not feeling like it is really happening. I just wish I could have a scan sooner so I know one way or the other.

MauisLeftNipple · 07/09/2018 20:59

Hi ladies.

Had a very faint bfp last night so did another cheapy test tonight...have sent my husband upstairs to see the surprise I left for him in the bathroom. Am 4+1.

Very tentatively dipping my toes in here as I believe I had a very early miscarriage last month (was on holiday so couldn't test, but I had brown spotting for a few days from the date my period was due, then a heavy period 3 days later). I'm 38 so know my risk of miscarriage is higher than if I were 5 years younger.

I have no symptoms apart from a weirdly high level of energy during the day, coupled with an urge to tidy. Then come 8.30 I am ready for bed Grin

MrsReader · 07/09/2018 21:03

@SurfingOwl and @ttcat32 I feel exactly the same! I want some morning sickness just to reassure me 😂

Starmist · 07/09/2018 21:03

Welcome to the newbies Smile

I’m feeling totally normal today. In fact a few times I even forgot I was pregnant. It’s hard not to get worried about it isn’t it.

I still haven’t seen the doctor... appointment for that is Wednesday so god knows when my midwife appointment will be! The doctor gave me the flu jab last time, has anyone been given it?

MrsReader · 07/09/2018 21:04

Hi @MauisLeftNipple I'm the same with the high energy levels in the daytime, so weird! I'm zipping around at work full of energy 😂

SurfingOwl · 07/09/2018 21:05

@Starmist I think my surgery only start giving out flu jabs from about October.

I’m glad others feel normal and not pregnant as well. Smile

ttcat32 · 07/09/2018 21:21

@SurfingOwl @MrsReader are you going to have an early scan? I've booked one for the 22nd, see the midwife for my booking appointment on the 26th but the other scan isn't till end of October and I just need some reassurance that everything is as it should be before then

SurfingOwl · 07/09/2018 21:24

Yes @ttcat32 although my DH is away next week so it will have to be the following week, which is annoying. I need to arrange it with my epu.

MrsReader · 07/09/2018 21:25

I don't know @ttcat32, I'm torn! I think my husband wouldn't be up for it, he's much more laid back than me. I have my 8 week appt on 24th so might ask the midwife what she thinks. Are you going to get one?

Pinky333777 · 07/09/2018 21:35

I had the flu jab when I was pregnant last year. I'll definitely have it again this year too.
I've always been one to just have everything that's offered though 😊

UntilTheVeryEnd · 07/09/2018 21:48

I’m sooooooo jealous of all those finding themselves full of energy! I can hardly keep my head above water at the moment Sad
Don’t wish the nausea on yourselves ladies it’s killer! Enjoy your symptom less time while it lasts.

Yay! Club 3 - we’ll be in this together! There’s another mum at DD nursery who is pregnant with dc 3... it’s going to be nice to have an other club 3 mum in RL

minnierose3 · 08/09/2018 08:54

@untiltheveryend I'm exactly the same! Been in bed at 9.30 for the past week and most nights I only stayed up that 'late' as any earlier seems a bit ridiculous!!
