Anyone else?

I have quite long cycles but using OPKs, I have a rough idea of when I ovulated and have just got the faintest of lines. So 30 April or 1 May for me! Eek.

@firstbornunicorn, your symptoms sound like mine god I feel awful. Morning sickness at 6 weeks omg 😱 this horrible feeling of nausea is bad enough!!

mayago · 31/08/2018 09:07

I'm getting line progression, yay! Has anyone stopped POAS yet? Blush My cheapies from amazon still aren't registering anything!!

I didn't have any morning sickness last time, and have everything crossed for the same again this time. Current symptoms are bloating and cramps.

@eep1111 I would use a FRER in the morning. Fingers crossed for you!

@Firstbornunicorn vivid pregnancy dreams that are crossing over before you've fully woken up? I hope you're feeling better!

Congratulations @LaYC I wouldn't say your 'symptoms' are abnormal either. They do vary so much from one person to another, and even one pregnancy to the next!

@mayago congratulations!!! Xx

rosettesforjill · 31/08/2018 09:12

@mayago I have only done one test!

BoomKapow · 31/08/2018 09:12

mayago I have a 19 month old too. I think it will be a nice age gap.

I don’t have many symptoms really other than some really crazy dreams, but I didn’t have any with my little boy either. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks earlier in the year though and I’m trying hard not to feel anxious. Think I’ll feel better once I get to 8 weeks, I’m not planning on calling the doctor till then. For some reason I feel like I’ll jinx it if I do 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

positivepineapple · 31/08/2018 09:32

@Firstbornunicorn Sheep 😂

Crazy dreams were one of my first symptoms. I kept having dreams that my dogs legs were falling off. One day I dreamt my DH had played Tug with them too hard and the whole back part of their body fell off. So they only had their head, shoulders and their front legs. I had to prop them up on cushions!!! So weird.

@LaYC my earliest symptoms were hot flushes, crazy dreams (as above), major cramping and I just felt different.

@mayago I've done two tests, the day AF was officially late. Two days later I did a digital which said 2-3. I'm planning on doing another digital on Sunday in the hope of getting 3+

Plasticgiraffe · 31/08/2018 09:47

@LaYC I've had backache for a few days and seems to have eased off today.

@mayago congratulations 😀 I'm still testing each morning but only internet cheapies and Asda I'm going to wait a few more days and do a clearblue weeks one. Hoping to see the 2-3 weeks.

I'm booked in to get my hair highlighted or a balayage next Friday but Google is saying to ideally wait until second trimester. My hair is awful 😩 and it took ages to get this appointment as my husband's niece does it and she's always fully booked. I can't even ask her if it's OK as I haven't even told anyone yet! I'm thinking cancel and rearrange for the end of October - what would you do?

zoClueless · 31/08/2018 09:48

@mayago I've been testing a fair bit Blush I mean I do have a number of the one step cheapies to use up so figured why not and have been doing them every 2-3 days mostly every other day

I also ordered some cb digitals online so I could see the weeks progression, they arrived and I realised I ordered the wrong ones (just standard pregnant/not pregnant - doh) so now I have them to use and I've ordered one which tells the weeks so I'll use all them up too over the coming week or so I guess - hopefully ending with the 3+ on the weekly indicator
I'm just so paranoid that it's not going to stick but I know I have to stop soon before it gets more ridiculous!

mayago · 31/08/2018 09:52

Goodness, I admire your resolve @rosettesforjill and @positivepineapple I haven't broken out the digital yet, but that will be tomorrow or Sunday.

Thank you @minnierose3

@BoomKapow we wanted a small age gap, and I'm hoping this will be the right fit for us. We'll evict DD from the nursery for the newbie, and on paper it looks right!

Also I haven't told DP- I have a shirt ordered for DD with 'I'm going to be a big sister' printed on it, and will put her to bed in it tomorrow night as he's doing the Sunday morning wake up. Hopefully I'll have digital confirmation by then as he'd want to see it in black and white!!

Firstbornunicorn · 31/08/2018 10:03

@minnierose3 it's really horrible, isn't it? Hopefully you feel a lot better soon. Can't seem to keep cool either. Luckily we have a ceiling fan in the bedroom. I haven't actually puked yet.

@mayago, it probably is just that. My dreams have been crazy 😂

@positivepineapple - I know what you mean! I had a dream that my aunt wanted me to go scuba diving in a bog and sing "swing low, sweet chariot". She said she would phone the council if I got stuck!!!

Happysbno4 · 31/08/2018 10:53

Hello

Can I join you... so I've had a BFP and am currently 5 days late for AF.

Think my EED will be 7th May ish?

I've posted a photo of how I told my partner. Just left on his book!

We have been trying since January and had a MMC followed ERPC at end of May. 9 weeks by dates no heart beat and foetal pole stoped at 7 weeks.

So looks like we can catch those eggs but praying this time its a sticky one!

I'm sure it was my age I've just had my 39th birthday. My older children are 20, 14, 13.

My partner is thrilled bean will be his first...and I'm trying to be but I'm also worried. Its a lot of responsibility for us to be mummys. I never considered this when I had my older children.

Not telling anyone and my teenagers are feeling my wrath currently....

Love and Blessings to you all. Xx

LaYC · 31/08/2018 10:54

Thank you for all your reassurance!!

Made the major mistake today or testing with another digital to see if it progress to 2-3 weeks.......I got not pregnant! Second wee of the morning.

Mejse · 31/08/2018 10:57

@mayago and @BoomKapoow I have a 19 month old too. Some days I feel a bit overwhelmed and others I feel like it will be the perfect age gap.

I only tested at 9dpo and 11dpo. I'm trying to resist spending loads on tests.

@LaYC sounds pretty normal to me, I'm not nausious at all yet but have had lower back ache for a while now

Plasticgiraffe · 31/08/2018 11:01

@Happysbno4 congratulations! I'm also 39 and this will be my second - have a 16 month old. You'll have lots of help at home from your other DC. Will it be a surprise to them or do they know you were planning another baby?

Happysbno4 · 31/08/2018 11:14

@plasticgiraffe congratulations we can be the pregnant at 39 pair! Our body's are amazing and we need to remember that everyday....

They knew we were pregnant in May of this year due....they were happy for our family. Before our loss and ERPC.... I joked then that i was just a surrogate for their baby they were happy.

I'm sure they will be again but I want to wait and be sure thinks are ok? However the 12 week Mark feels miles away. Hoping you all will be able to help me get through the next 8 weeks Blush

SurfingOwl · 31/08/2018 11:15

I’d keep the hair appointment @Plasticgiraffe

I tested once and then I used ClearBlues to confirm 2-3 and 3+ but leaving the tests alone now.

I feel a bit yucky today but that could be down to the pregnancy multi vitamins rather than anything else. I think I’m going to keep worrying!!

Happysbno4 · 31/08/2018 12:05

@kiltedsheep I feel you my last pregnacy ended in mmc and ERPC late may.

Positive energy we have another chance.

minnierose3 · 31/08/2018 12:39

@layc ahh that's worrying for you but Try again TMW x

positivepineapple · 31/08/2018 13:20

@LaYC Try not to worry too much. I know that the digital aren't as sensitive as some other tests.

Like Minnie said, try again in the morning with first urine. X

minnierose3 · 31/08/2018 14:20

Does anyone else feel exhausted?!? 😴😴😴

rosettesforjill · 31/08/2018 14:22

@minnierose3 I haven't been too bad during the day, but last night I felt like I'd run a marathon!

zoClueless · 31/08/2018 14:31

@minnierose3 totally 😴

Today has been the first day I've felt sleepy all day and so I've cracked open my first Diet Coke of the week (I don't drink tea or coffee so haven't had any other caffeine intake - apart from a packet of malteasers....) Looking forward to not having a alarm for work tomorrow morning.

tinyradish · 31/08/2018 14:39

Yes, feel terrible today! & really emotional too... Plus had some spotting that scared me silly. Hoping it's nothing to worry about & calmed down now Blush

minnierose3 · 31/08/2018 14:45

Oh no @tinyradish, although I think spotting can be quite normal.

I do have 2 little ones running me ragged which isn't helping!! God knows how I'll cope towards the end!

Seems to be worse at this time and then again at 9/10 at night. Won't be a late night for me tonight!!!

minnierose3 · 31/08/2018 14:45

@rosettesforjill yes me too!!
