Anyone else?

I have quite long cycles but using OPKs, I have a rough idea of when I ovulated and have just got the faintest of lines. So 30 April or 1 May for me! Eek.

Hello @Becs1984! Congratulations!

MrsReader · 29/08/2018 22:41

@surfingowl i finally got round to sending you a message to add me to the facebook group! It wouldn't let me do it on the MN app.

Hi to all new members and congratulations!

MrsReader · 29/08/2018 22:45

I'm liking that people are saying the bloating calms down at 6 weeks. I'm 4 weeks today and I'm soooo bloated I'm paranoid people will know, cos my belly looks huge. My face and feet are bloated too.

Mejse · 30/08/2018 05:51

@MrsReader the bloating is unreal at the moment! A child in my class asked me if I have a baby in my belly yesterday. I need to wear baggy clothes for a while I think

mayago · 30/08/2018 08:01

Tentatively dropping by today after a BFP at 9dpo. I've had two chemicals in the 9 months we've been trying, but it feels different this time. I could tell before testing as I've gone off tea, and cramping differently than usual. Short cycles bring my EDD to around the 12th May. We have a 19 month DD who keeps me very much on my toes!

Congratulations ladies!

ttcat32 · 30/08/2018 08:54

Congratulations @mayago! Is this your first?

@SurfingOwl I've sent a pm about the Facebook also

Still super bloated and boobs appear to have went up a size in a week! Hoping they go back down a bit of will have to invest in new bras x

CrystalBlaze · 30/08/2018 09:06

Welcome @mayago Smile

Woke up knackered again this morning. Boobs massive and sore. Bloated again last night. 😴

SurfingOwl · 30/08/2018 09:09

Congratulations on passing @Firstbornunicorn

Welcome to everyone new who has joined.

I feel fine today Confused and now a bit of worry is starting to kick in. How is everyone?

rosettesforjill · 30/08/2018 09:12

Hello @mayago! Congratulations!

The hunger is here for me... ate breakfast (a decent sized one! Avocado and poached egg on toast) and was immediately starving to the point of feeling a bit dizzy I feel like it's probably basically morning sickness but presenting itself in a slightly different way?

@SurfingOwl I will also PM you about the Facebook group Smile

CrystalBlaze · 30/08/2018 09:12

Remind me how far along you are @SurfingOwl? I was worried about this the other day but keep telling myself symptoms come and go and to make the most of it Flowers

mayago · 30/08/2018 09:39

Thanks ladies! This is number two for us @ttcat32 - DD is 19 months.

I'll wait a few days before FB I think @SurfingOwl Just want to make sure this one is happy to stick first!

Firstbornunicorn · 30/08/2018 09:43

@surfingowl I'm worrying today too! Got bad stomach cramps, however think this might just be due to my normal IBS pains. Feels the same, anyway. Fingers crossed.

Firstbornunicorn · 30/08/2018 09:46

@cat I'm bursting out of my bra today! Thankfully am wearing a top which hides it

Buttons28 · 30/08/2018 09:50

I'm feeling completely rubbish this morning. Very tired and a little bit 🤢, really struggling to eat. People at work have commented on how tired I look and I just keep agreeing with them haha. It's so hard when you can't say why you look and feel so rubbish.

Have got my booking in appointment sorted. It managed to arrange it for a date when DH is away 🤦🏻‍♀️ will have to see about getting that changed. They called on a withheld number so couldn't call them back when I realised.

Hope everyone is keeping well x

tinyradish · 30/08/2018 10:04

Sorry some of you are feeling sick already! The dreaded nausea - hope it doesn't affect anyone too badly.

I'm just tired with sore boobs today (one is sorer than the other Confused) but when turning over in the night I felt quite dizzy. Not sure what all that is about.

rosettesforjill · 30/08/2018 11:20

I realised as I was cooking dinner last night that I had completely forgotten almost all the food guidelines! I am sad because I have a lovely unopened packet of pate in the fridge and now DH and DS will be eating it all Sad

Also, I really miss caffeine already

UntilTheVeryEnd · 30/08/2018 11:20

Morning all! Thanks for all the hugs and support yesterday- I am finding that if I eat very regularly I can minimise the yuckness - not good for my waistline but heyho!

For those suffering with sore boobs - I know it’s early early doors but please allow the first thing you buy to be a decent matty bra - I can’t tell you the difference it makes! They give so much comfort and will last throughout your pregnancy so defo would recommend getting them soon.

Also for those feeling worried about their lack of symptoms - my SIL is a pregnancy unicorn, despite her troubles getting pregnant she has had no nausea or sickness or back pain or acne or anything. Some people are just pregnancy unicorns 🦄 embrace it xx

UntilTheVeryEnd · 30/08/2018 11:22

@tinyradish I think dizzyness in early pregnancy is quite normal. I wouldn’t worry unless you start fainting or getting it loads x

UntilTheVeryEnd · 30/08/2018 11:28

@rosettesforjill the guidelines recommend no more than 200mg of caffeine a day. 1 or 2 regular cups of coffee or tea will be well within that limit so you can still enjoy it moderation. I prefer my caffeine intake in chocolate form Grin

rosettesforjill · 30/08/2018 11:46

The problem is that my treat coffee is a strong latte which I'm sure must wipe it out completely! Grin

minnierose3 · 30/08/2018 12:34

I have a horrible feeling of nausea ALL DAY peaking at about 10pm 😣 and starting to get spots on my face 😩 don't remember this from previous pregnancies!!!

tinyradish · 30/08/2018 13:33

Oh no @minnierose that sounds horrendous! You poor thing.

Thank you @untiltheveryend didn't think much of it but will keep a check on it. How are you doing today?

Who was it we needed to message about the fb group? Have tried to go back but must be missing the post Blush

zoClueless · 30/08/2018 15:04

Those of you that go to the gym. Do you just go to use the gym yourself or do classes? I do a lot of classes, was going every weekday lunch break at work but plan to build some more rest days in now, and fortnightly I do a joint PT session with a colleague.
Trying to work out when I should be letting the instructors for the various classes and the PT know so that they can bear that in mind during the class/adapt exercises as need be

CrystalBlaze · 30/08/2018 15:06

I usually do classes @zo but so far have only mentioned pregnancy to the pilates teacher. Think you're fine to do most things except sit ups after 12 weeks, according to NHS website

zoClueless · 30/08/2018 15:25

Thanks crystal. I also do Pilates and the next block starts next week so I'll try let her know. Other than that I do a boxing class and a few circuits/hiit based classes so perhaps I carry on as normal but just not push myself as hard. One of the circuit classes I do is all core based so maybe I should stop that one in the coming weeks.
My next PT session I'll only be 6+2 so perhaps I would be ok to do that without mentioning anything to him - obviously that one is particularly difficult as I go with a colleague!
