@Jenfur I'm exactly the same - thought I'd got over the sickness and have felt terrible the last two days 🤢

Sickness been getting better over the past week (now 11+2) so feeling more normal, then this morning I woke up with headache, sore throat etc does not feel fair.

Good luck to those with scans today, I'm still waiting to find out when mine will be, had booking in with midwife last week and she wasn't concerned about getting it in time.

Lidl have maternity wear for sale next Thursday 6th September. I had some nursing tops from there last time and they fit better than some more expensive ones I had.

Have also taken a step back sickness-wise. After managing 4 days without meds I started feeling really awful and then promptly threw up just before bed.

Good luck to everyone with scans today. I've got mine at 10:30 and having the NIPT done. After feeling somewhat normal for the past week and not having been sick for that time despite previously being sick multiple times a day since 5 weeks, this morning my body decided that I was ready for some more and I promptly threw up just after waking.

Had my scan this week and it was amazing . Due date 8/3/2019 so excited now. Feel like I can properly join in now . Look forward to sharing this with you all

@Sophlou I'm glad things bags are looking good after all you've been through. The nub theory is that a boy scan will have a brighter white area in the nether region that points upwards about 30 degrees to the spine, a girl will have a nub that lies flat. It's not always visible so a lot of people think girl when it's just not on the pic but it's pretty accurate when you're looking at the right thing (umbilical cord can get mistaken for a nub too lol).

I have cracked out the maternity jeans today. They are way too big and I am having to wriggle them up every so often BUT they are far more comfy than my normal jeans. I have a visible bump now at nearly 11 weeks. Totally ridiculous!

I think I'm going to cave and order some maternity jeans today, I'm so bloated I look like I have a bump already and my usual jeans are now so tight I feel sick after wearing them for about 5 minutes!

I'm 14+1 today and still feel sick and exhausted everyday, really wish it would sod off already!

We have a wriggly baby! What a relief. Waiting for the 12 week scan has been torturous but what an amazing (slightly terrifying) experience.

Really hoping everyone else has a good, positive experience today.

Oh we have an updated due date of 11th of March :)

I just got my screening test results back:

1 in 11240 for DS
1 in 100000 for Edwards’/Patau’s

I’m happy with that.

@Marmite2018 great scan you're right it's such a long wait I've 5 days to go.

I'm just back from the GP with some antibiotics for a UTI. Hoping these will help me start to feel better soon! GP was great so I'm feeling a bit happier. Just nervous for next Friday now. I feel a bit happier that the pain and dizziness is likely to have been the UTI rather than anything more sinister though. Fingers crossed anyway. I did manage to make a complete tit of myself by saying "Oh, so are these antibiotics that are OK to drink on then or should I avoid alcohol?" Long silence whilst the GP eyed me puzzledly, followed by a moment of realisation from me whereupon I began stuttering "Obviously I'm not drinking at the moment. I don't even know why I asked that. Sorry. Anyway, yes. Right, I'll go and collect them now. Thank you." Fortunately he laughed!

I needed that this morning as I've been feeling irrationally emotional (damn you hormones!).
I had a UTI recently too, apparently they're really common in early pregnancy; get some probiotics for afterwards so you can get some good bacteria back in place ASAP.

Hi Ladies, scan went well. Very wriggly baby, we struggled to get a nuchal fold measurement but got one in the very end after me having to do half a week and jiggling twice! Lovely to see there is a baby in there (just one) and a heart beat. Snuck a blood test in which I wasn't expecting and weight and height measurements, co2, various forms all carried out by 3 midwives simultaneously-bombardment! Very relieved, now to tell a few people including my boss! We went for lunch after and DH has gone back to work now. We got 3 picture for free. Posting our fave. Hope everyone else is doing ok. She put me two 12+1 and new due date of March 13th!!

Defo getting down to Lidl-I love Lidl at the best of times and it's time for maternity jeans and bras!
