@NatashaRomanov good luck with your scan tomorrow, will keep everything crossed for you 🤞🏼I have mine Thursday morning and so nervous. As mentioned, just want to see evidence of my fatness/boobiness/various food aversions and know bud bud is doing okay. My OH is convinced it's twins. I said to him 'stop saying that. At least I'm laying down for the sonogram, if they say it's twins you'll keel over in shock' 😂

@Gronk27 Rest is more important than work. Hope your head is better soon.

My 'D'H keeps saying it's twins as well. Then he mentioned triplets. I know I already have a bit of a belly, but sheesh! Not sure which of us would be more in shock if it does turn out to be more than one. I will blame him for talking it up!

@NatashaRomanov we've had a bet 😂 £20 to me if he's wrong 😂 these men eh!

I wonder if we will have any twins?! My sister has them as does a cousin so definitely in my family. Is it wrong I’m only hoping for one?!

@Angelmiracle Glad to see you’re back! You are MAD to be hosting baby showers and going to Disney!! You must be shattered.

Just had a scan. I’m 9+1. Baby is so cute!! Saw it’s little arms and legs, and its heartbeat flickering.

@BadBadBeans I'm 11 + 5! Have my scan on Thursday 😬. Bizarrely my migraine and everything else cleared up by lunchtime. Feeling much better this evening. I think some of it was hay fever related - a lot of people are suffering with it around here at the moment and I took antihistamines and prevalin nasal spray this morning so must be connected.

@Wineandchoccy oh no! Poor thing, I hope she's ok. I haven't ever tried 4Head tbh, must get some to be on the safe side.

@ballanjmore discharge is normal - all part of the area keeping itself clean.

@Angelmiracle I'm glad the baby shower went well, your sister has a lot to live up to in returning the favour! Disneyland sounds awesome!

@ballanj @hidcat @nightmanagerfan @natashranov thanks ladies. I realised pretty quickly there was no way I could drive for an hour a hour and then talk about work! Went to bed instead. DH is here now looking after me. Not sure what's happened, we did a car boot yesterday so I might have over exerted myself. My back is tense/tender and wondered if it was a tension headache which can make me sicky but now normally violently sick!

Quick update as we have visitors - scan went well, measuring 1 day ahead, lovely little heartbeat and arms and legs. Brilliant to see it wriggling around. I had drunk WAY too much water beforehand - she showed me my huge bladder on the screen, haha! She sent me to empty the whole lot out (god the relief) and did the rest of the scan afterwards. It was pretty cool actually - she showed me the ovary the egg had come from and explained how she knew. I guess with a private scan you get a bit more time and detail.

Anyway lovely to know that there is definitely a baby inside me. First hurdle surmounted!

@BadBadBeans oh that's so wonderful so pleased for you!

@nightmanagerfan we already have 1 confirmed set of twins in the group! I think its meant to be 3% of births and we have over 80 on this group now so by the stats we should have at least 1 more!

Just posted my scan photo on a nub theory site and 3 admins have independently said it's a boy. Guess I might have to get my head around the idea of a 3rd DS!

@villagefete and @badbadbeans so so pleased you both had such lovely scans! Congratulations!

@Murphyrocks I'm quite tempted to solicit nub theory opinions. Looking at mine - not that I know a thing about it - I think it could be a girl. Quite interested to see if there's a consensus! We only have a boy's name sorted out (read: there is only one name we agree on), I know there's loads of time yet but it would be cool to know whether we had to keep thrashing that one out or not.

And 3 boys will be ace!

@ladycarlotta I don't know if it makes it better or worse tbh! If I didn't have a preference it'd just be a bit of fun but I was so hoping for a girl. But it's not 100% by any stretch so who knows. No idea on names, haven't even thought about it tbh!

Hello! Been lurking but not posting however - went for my 12 week scan last week thinking I was coming up to 13 weeks.

Turned out I was only 11+1 when they did the scan and I'm going back a week today (Tuesday 5th) for them to do the screening tests.

The sonographer kept apologising for the image being blurry but I feel like it's incredibly clear! It doesn't look like an alien or a blob, or looks like a baby! (Albeit a baby with a very big head!).

All feels very real now! Just hoping that the first trimester exhaustion ends soon because I'd love to spend a few months in a none zombie like state before I have a newborn!

Oh and new due date is March 12th!

Just wanted to join in the twin convo. My Nan is a twin and she had twins. I'm tall and older than my female cousins who have had children so everyone's money is on me! I am showing already at 11+3. Scan on Thu!

Meanwhile I'm nibbling on dry toast and sipping a chamomile tea.

Anyone fighting the massive bloat still? I swear I look 5 months pregnant not 3. Husband just argued that it may be baby, not bloat, I think that's wishful thinking...

@wordsmithereens the bloat is real for me too! Hence my OH being convinced there's more than 1 baby in there 😂

Can I join? I'm due 21 March. Starting to feel positive and excited now but the first ten weeks were very hard.

Unable to sleep again, so frustrating.
Could I ask what apps you are all using?
Is there anything really useful. Wether it's. Just keeping track or pregnancy health related?

Ps been loving all the scan pics.
With all the ups and downs hope your all doing ok.
