Thanks @Murphyrocks I hope so. I'd just started to relax a little passing the 12 week mark.

@Sophlou I had bleeding twice in this pregnancy, 6+4 then around 9 weeks and both times It turned out I had a UTI.

Eek I've thought boy since day one but not one person has said boy since I've shown this scan 😂 I cannot wait to find out!!! X

Thanks @MrsLCW I had scan at 10 weeks and everything was ok which is promising. If you don't mind me asking what colour was your blood because I've just wiped
and the blood was fresh with a tiny clot I'm so worried.

Mine ranged from dark brown, to light pink and watery, to more red. Sending you all the luck in the world lovely xx

@Sophlou I’ve just had a UTI and had some light pink spotting a couple of days so there does seem to be a link. I hope it clears up soon for you xx

@Sophlou did they mention any bleeding at your scan lovely? Xx

@puravida31 thanks I really hope that's what it is I've been reading online as you do and there does seem to be a link.

I was food shopping at the time had to run to the toilet to be sick and was so shocked to see the blood it's sent me into an absolute panic.
@MrsLCW I had my last scan at 10 weeks and everything was fine no mention of any bleeding.

Perhaps I should loan out DS to anyone who is feeling nervous for their scan!

@orangekitkat13 I can not wait to get one of those!! Will make life so much easier as my fellow commuters of SW London genuinely do seem to take note of them (although not so much the please offer me a seat ones which is annoying as will probs move onto that one post birth when I start chemo) but once you start wearing that you have to tell people at work.. so will probs be awhile for me yet!!

For the Londoners who already have them, how long do they take to come?

@cardboard33 I think mine took less than a week? I remember thinking it was quicker than I'd expected for TFL

@sophlou Please keep us updated. I’m sure it’s to do with the UTI but must be really worrying. Is there not an emergency pregnancy unit in any of your local hospitals for peace of mind?

@cardboard33 Oh i’m so sorry to hear you have to start chemo after giving birth Lots of love and luck to you.

Scan went okay yesterday and confirmed EDD as 06/03/19.

Seems we've got a naughty baby already.... likes to lay on their tummy and wiggle - which made the scan twice as long. Poor midwife did everything three times and had to keep sending me out for a wee or a walk!

I've managed to book a private scan for today at 1pm so at least I'll know either way. I'm meant to be going to a family wedding tomorrow and as I'm over 13 weeks I've announced the pregnancy. I'd struggle to with people asking how I am if I don't know that things are ok. I'll keep you posted.

@sophlou Please do update us when you can. My friend bled all the way through both of her pregnancies (red blood) All was absolutely fine. I am sure it will be fine for you, too

@wordsmithereens quite quick then!! Will hold off getting one for another week or so as don't want to be tempted to go around wearing it before my scan!!

@villagefete don't be sorry, this is plan A!! I've got a brain tumour so had surgery a few years ago and then as it's still not growing they want to do radiotherapy/chemo combo as a preventive thing before it gets worse. We've always known this so have been planning our baby making around it, and we had a 6 month window to get pregnant which was stressful to say the least. However we've managed it so fingers crossed I'll have the baby and then do most of the therapy whilst on mat leave which is better as then I can multitask, haha. The treatment will last about 12-14 months in total, then you've gotta wait a year before trying... Then we will start on baby 2. They'll freeze my eggs and stuff as standard anyway but we are hopeful my fertility will remain in tact given I'm young (ish) at 30. But if it doesn't happen then we've got one child, hopefully, and then when I die I'll leave a piece of me behind! :)

I feel totally not pregnant again now. I'm just under 10 weeks and thought this would be the most symptomatic time but I feel so much better than I did in weeks 5-8. Should I be worried about it??
