Ladies that mentioned Facebook pages, I've come off them too.
I've just come out of what was meant to be a super quick reassurance scan... Ended up being a diff consultant today, who gave me a really thorough scan... this little pudding was pretty chilled at first then thoroughly enjoyed showing off their acrobatic skills 😍 all looking good, and now measuring another day ahead of our original dates ... so 12+1 by measurements 😍 I’m absolutely head over heals in love. They had a big stretch and their legs looked sooo long, just like their Daddy 😍 can't wait for next weeks official dating scan now!

Any gender guesses (just for fun... I know it's a long shot at this point 😂) I've thought team blue since day dot with this little bean 😍😍😍

Model of a vagina Hilarious!!

Hoping you can all help me with a question? I saw my community Midwife today (She was amazing and got all teary and huggy with me after I told her my story/history) But because I want to give birth at a different hospital than the one that’s in my City, she couldn’t really do much with me. The hospital I want to give birth at is only a 20 minute drive from my house, but isn’t classed as being where i’m from. Anyway, i’ve rang the hospital and arranged my booking in appointment. It’s on the day I turn 11 weeks (I know my exact dates due to my previous 3 internals) Isn’t this a bit late? Will it delay my 12 week scan? I assume they will take bloods etc for screening at this point?

@Villagefete I'm the same as you. My hospital is classed as out of area even though it's not that far away. So my booking in isn't until this Tuesday and I'll be either 11+2 according to LMP or 11+4 according to private scan last Sunday and I'm really panicking about the scan. I rang the midwives office in the area I'm having the scan and they couldn't help much because I'm out of their area but did say that they may even do the scan on the day if they have space (which I kind of hope not because my partner is away all next week so will miss it) but should definitely make the scan before 12+6. I'm sure if you mention that you definitely want the screening then surely they should make sure you get in? That's what I'm thinking but might be worth a call to the local midwives office in the area you're having the appointment? Or ringing the hospital itself? I'm sorry I'm not more help, this is my first so not really sure how it all works and who you can contact or nor

@MrsLCW What a gorgeous scan!! I bet your are so relieved. I know absolutely nothing about nubs so not guess from me, but what a perfect little baby!

@melissa112 It’s a bit of a nightmare isn’t it? I am just worrying it’s a bit close to 12 weeks and they won’t be able to fit me in for a scan until about 14?! 10th September was the earliest booking in appt which seems so far away? May need to give them another call as I definitely do want to be screened.

@VillageFete I do think it's worth giving them a call just to ease your mind. I know it's probably not the same hospital but I'll let you know what they say at my appointment on Tuesday about turnaround times knowing we want screening. Did you get a letter for the appointment? They may do the scan at the same time? I know some places do but worth a check

@VillageFete I only ask about the letter because on mine they made it clear they weren't doing a scan at the same time

@melissa112 Yes, please let me know what they say. They said they are sending me a letter out, so maybe that will explain a little more. I’ll only be 11 weeeks so not sure that’s far along enough to check the fluid behind the neck and take accurate measurements?

Just got back from the scan. They've pushed my dates back 3 weeks so I'm now
9 weeks. Little bean had a a strong heart beat so very pleased!

Are people starting to announce pregnancy now? I've stopped short of a Facebook announcement but the word is spreading in the family/friend circles now! Feels nice to relax a bit on that front. Also I'm starting to feel a bit better, I think?! Touch wood!

@orangekitkat13 I’m in London too! South East - haven’t cracked the badge out yet but will do once we’ve had the scan.

Feeling much better yesterday and today - it’s so dependent on the day. I’ve gone from horrendous to amazing and back again so many times!

Ace to see lovely scan pix too. I wonder if we will have any twins on the group?

I think a really good sleep last night has alleviated some of my scanxiety. But it kinda makes sense now because I also had something else on my mind. I got my exam results today (studying law) and passed my final lot of exams so I'm really chuffed and feel a little weight lifted! Had a fair amount of what felt like ligament stretching yesterday so just keep thinking that hopefully room is being made for baby because they are growing happy and healthy!

@VillageFete I had my scan appointment come through two days after booking in appointment. Mine was a few weeks after the appointment though but he hospital were quick to turn it around!

@orangekitkat13 They are so blimmin' useful! Wouldn't have made it to the doctor's without them when the sickness was most awful.

@orangekitkat13 I've had my badge for ages but haven't had need to wear it yet. I almost never get the tube at rush hour though as I walk to work

I'm 13 weeks +2 days and I've just had some pinky brown spotting I phoned the doctor who has said it's normal which I know but my rational thinking has gone. I have also got a urine infection I was started on antibiotics for it 2 days ago. Has anyone got any experience of this? Do you think the UTI could be the cause of the spotting?
I've got my dating scan on tues a day before I'm 14 weeks so I guess I won't know before then. My GP has just said I won't get a scan any sooner than that and that I need to rest. I'm meant to be at a wedding on Sunday. It's going to be a long weekend.

@Sophlou I'm sorry to hear that - as your Dr said only a small amount is unlikely to mean anything bad but completely understand that's hard to believe. Noone wants to see any blood when pg! Really hope you can put it out of your mind and try to enjoy your weekend, and try to remember the odds are with you.
