Can't wait to have mine . Anyone feeling really itchy? I can't stop itching my legs and feet . So strange .

What a busy day yesterday was ! Told my boss and it actually went really well, he was very supportive. The exchanged contracts so ready to move on Friday eeeeek. On my way to the early scan threw up all over the car dash/foot well and me ! So had to squeeze into the tiniest jeans I found in my boot that I could not do up. But all good in the end

@Gronk27 a Big Mac has lettuce in doesn't it? And onions? That's 2/5...

Hi all, I’m a little late to the game but can I join? EDD 20/03/19 with our first. Very nervous and have been struggling with fatigue massively but first scan should be in a few weeks

One week until mine. Dreading it much more than with my first. Even though I have more early symptoms than last time, I am finding it harder to believe I am actually pregnant.
And, due to PCOS and the fact I was on Metformin when I got pregnant, they want me to have an early GTT It should be booked in for the same day as my scan, but I am really grumpy about it! I feel sick when I get hungry, so not being able to eat that morning, plus worrying about the scan, means I will be a short-tempered mess! Thank goodness I have a wonderful friend who has offered to have my DD overnight, and all day of my scan until we are ready to collect her.

I'm struggling to keep up with you guys. Congrats to everyone on the lovely scans! Mine is still 3 weeks away and feels like forever.
I've come down with a crappy cold this week so feeling even worse than I have been. I'm with people on not sleeping well - I'm in bed so early because my eyes can't stay open anymore then can't get comfortable and takes forever to fall asleep and its even worse if (when) I wake up in the night. I had nothing like this with my son - I think it might have put me off of having a second!

@Newbie2703 congrats on the scan! I'm well impressed you had a pair of jeans in the boot at all. If it had been me, I'd have been attending the scan in my knickers...

@Jenfur ugh yes I don't remember having issues sleeping with DS either. I fall asleep okay but then wake up in the middle of the night and am WIDE AWAKE for ages!

Guys, I know I've said this about fifty times already, but I can't believe how much my belly has popped out already. My mind keeps going TWINS?! but I remember a friend of mine who is a similar body shape to me was enormous with her second. She was five weeks behind my pregnancy with DS and looked about two months ahead! So I guess maybe it's just the old wrecked tummy muscles situation. Although I had thought they were back in good nick. Obviously not!

@NatashaRomanov I wish I could give you advice to calm your nerves but I'm exactly the same. Also struggling with the fact I started bleeding at 11 weeks last time, I know it's not very likely I'll have a repeat situation but it's scary nonetheless. We'll get there!

@BadBadBeans my cousin looked full term at 10 weeks with her third bless her. Her fourth was much smaller. I don't know what it's different every time but it is quite crazy how differently our bodies handle it!

@BadBadBeans I feel exactly the same! Around 10 weeks here now but I genuinely feel that I have a proper pregnancy bump this time around. I was still in bikinis with everybody none the wiser at the same point last time and didn’t need the hair band trick on my jeans until 14-16 weeks. I feel sick after wearing mine for more than about 4 hours at a time currently without undoing the button.

Got the second one of my BOGOF scans tonight. Actually excited rather than scared this time as I appear to have had no problems since the last one 2 weeks ago and lower tummy has definitely increased in size so hoping all is good. It’s keeping me going as my last scan pushed my EDD back over a week (I knew it would) and I already feel like I’ve been pregnant FOREVER waiting for my official dating scan. If all goes well tonight then we will tell our close friends and family. Thank god because I could tell my Mum was dying to say to me this weekend that I’d put weight on around my middle but probably thought better of it just in case!

Just checking in. So lovely to see all the amazing scan pictures!! I can't wait for mine but still don't have a date! I'm 11 weeks on Friday and my booking in isn't until the 28th.

Been signed off work due to the horrible morning sickness so just taking it easy in bed and googling prams etc even though it's too early!

I know there's no 'normal, but when do people usually start buying the big stuff? Obviously I don't want to jinx anything so we said we'd probably hold off until after the 20 week scan but just wondering what everyone else's thoughts were?

@melissa112 I might have accidentally picked up a few sleepsuits. And my mum has bought it a little toy monkey. I actually bought a few metres of a particular fleece fabric quite a few years ago, thinking that it would be really nice for a baby - it's sat in the stash ever since but I might make a blanket or two out of it quite soon!

Trying not to acquire too much stuff before 20 weeks at least. And I'll be using Christmas as an opportunity to ask for stuff/contributions. But to be honest until we're out of our flat and into the new house, we don't have room to store much anyway, so all the big stuff like buggy, cot, carseat will be waiting til at least the January sales.

@melissa112 last time I got a few bits after 12 week scan but nothing major until after 20 weeks. Not got as much to get this time but will probably use a similar approach.

Booking in appointment this morn and need to ring on Friday to book scan date - it seems to be going so slowly! 9+4 today so come Saturday I'll be a quarter of way thru - how scary is that!

I was also surprised I had jeans in my boot ! I have now packed a bag to keep in my boot of lovely comfy clothes I suggest you all do the same

Last time I bought a few sleepsuits etc after the 12 week scan but waited until the 20 week scan before buying pram, cot etc

Can congrats on all the gorgeous scans 😍 mine isn't til the 31st but seeing my consultant this Friday (when I should be bang on 12 weeks) and he's said he'll pop the scanner on to give me a peak ❤️
@thefirsttimer yes I think you're earliest due date 😍😍 but I may be able to take a little of the pressure as I've been told I'll be induced at least 3 weeks early so probably around 15th Feb?

My sickness has come back with a vengeance this past few days and it seems to be drinking that's kicking it off! I feel soooo thirsty but as soon as I drink more than a sip I'm on the verge of throwing up again (and have done quite a few times!) urgh! With my last pregnancy it last up til 16 weeks, but knowing now that our little girl passed away around 17/18 weeks I'm wondering if this was the reason why rather than hormones dying down! Time will tell I suppose!

@NatashaRomanov I am also having an early GTT due to PCOS and Metformin. Mine is booked for when I'll be 16 weeks. I've heard they can be pretty awful, so I'm not looking forward to it to say the least! Fingers crossed for the both of us for good results though 🤞🏼.
