@xjune88 what a time you’re having at the moment. Glad everything is ok.

My sickness disappeared for a few days last week but is back and has brought proper room-spinning dizziness with it. Don’t know if the sickness is morning sickness or because of the dizziness. A quick google has suggested it could be low blood sugar or low blood pressure so I’m eating both sweet and salty food and snacks and waiting on a call back from the gp to see if they can squeeze me in for a check. I just feel like shit. Luckily the my teen dc are on half term this week so can entertain the toddler whilst I lie on the couch crying.

@newbie21 I keep going back and forth over whether to find out. I did with the 3 I have, and was going to wait with the baby I miscarried. I think it’ll be how I feel on the day which decides. Tbh I dont really want to let myself think that far ahead

Pancakes7 · 29/10/2018 11:25

@TheHalfBloodPrince I saw on baby centre i think that we have 30-50% more blood from 10wks which can cause dizziness. @Newbie We are finding out. It's our first and excited to know what we're having. Although I think if you're strong willed enough not finding out is exciting on the day. But like you say practically knowing is easier.

Pancakes7 · 29/10/2018 11:26

@Newbie21 Thanks, I might get one on my lunch. Good idea. I had one Saturday as my reward for having my flu jab. I hope all our hormones calm down soon.

Swisbest2 · 29/10/2018 19:34

Wow @june88 so pleased for you what a rollercoaster thanks all for your reassurance too i am on off losing my mind some days i feel numb and completely convinced everythimgs ended/ ending other days i just dont think anything.

Ive been thinking, babies are born in war zones, in famine and disease and yet were worried about the stress our worrying is doing. crazy isnt it!

Pancakes7 · 30/10/2018 08:47

@Swisbest2 That's a good point. I did also read that stress doesn't actually affect baby. So don't worry too much. Just eat healthily and stay hydrated. I'm the same I have times when for no reason I start thinking it's gone wrong. I was really positive after the 2 scans but this week I'm starting to get the fear back. I can't wait for my dating scan.

frankiefumbles · 30/10/2018 09:55

@Pancakes7 I'm absolutely petrified today. I went to the gym last night for the first time and I went easy but I still worry I've done the wrong thing and my parents and gran are coming to the NIPT on Friday and I'm worried I'm going to show my gran what a dead baby looks like cue hysterics gahhhh!!!! It seemed like a good idea at the time...

Swisbest2 · 30/10/2018 11:23

xJune88 · 30/10/2018 11:35

Aww @swisbest2 congrats. I haven't felt pregnant from day 1 haha xx

Pancakes7 · 30/10/2018 11:43

@Swisbest2 Aw lovely scan. I'm so glad all is ok! X

Pancakes7 · 30/10/2018 11:44

@frankiefumbles I'm sure all is fine! Nice your Nan is coming. Are you 20 weeks now then? Or you booked NIPT privately? Sorry if you've already told me. No memory lately.

Pancakes7 · 30/10/2018 11:45

Or is NIPT done at 12 weeks? I'm not with it lately lol

Newbie21 · 30/10/2018 11:48

@NIPT can be done between 10 and 14 I think.

frankiefumbles · 30/10/2018 12:29

@Swisbest2 seeing a wriggle is just wonderous isn't it!

I'm sure my bean is okay in there really. Our anaesthetist friend pretty much said now we've seen the HB at ten weeks we are over the hump.

I'm having my NIPT done at what should be 11+3 or 11+4. @Pancakes7 it's all baby brain! Totally legit

xJune88 · 30/10/2018 12:37

Had my anti d injection yesterday and they've moved my nuchal scan to this Thursday instead of next because they moved me forward 6 days. Exciting sure I'll pay for private scans after that though haha can't go till 20 weeks! X

Swisbest2 · 30/10/2018 14:24

@frankiefumbles it still doesnt stop the worry though does it! Just counting down the weeks but i dont think it will change lol

Swisbest2 · 30/10/2018 18:25

Weird isnt it @june88 last week my boobs were swollen and i was struggljng big time and over weekend much better til early hours this morning nurse said could be placenta taking over now but to me it was just worrying. All im cobstantly doing is comparing to my two losses as everybody is im sure

Newbie21 · 30/10/2018 18:47

I feel like the weeks are suddenly slowing right down. I know it's because I am desperate for my scan on the 11th. I have my booking in appointment on Sunday, are there any tests that they can do to put my mind at ease? I'm guessing other than a standard pregnancy test, probably not. I just want to know that the little heart is beating.

Swisbest2 · 30/10/2018 19:51

Ahh @newbie21 i know how you feel i was a mess jusf before my scan this morning i wrote myself a note on how i was gonna deal with the bad news i was so convinced i cried before the wand touched my stomach.

Newbie21 · 30/10/2018 23:40

I just went to the loo and when I wiped there was very light pink discharge on the tissue. No blood or anything in the toilet just the pink on the tissue. I didn't have this with DS or when I had my MMC. I'm really scared I'm about to lose my baby. I don't have any cramps or pains. Will try and contact midwife in the morning. :-(

Swisbest2 · 31/10/2018 06:56

@newbie21 hope youre ok. Im sure everything will be fine they might give you a scan to reassure you x

xJune88 · 31/10/2018 08:43

@newbie21 I'm sure all will be ok your cervix is probably just irritated from the growing but get checked out to settle your mind. Im currently a key example of when bleeding doesn't mean the end! Xx

SurfingOwl · 31/10/2018 10:32

Just catching up as it has been so long since I posted on this thread. I hope everyone is doing ok and so sorry to those of you who are worrying. It’s all such an anxious time.

Pancakes7 · 31/10/2018 11:39

I'm 11 weeks tomorrow which will mean I'm past when my mmc was discovered. So hopefully I'll start to worry less. 11 days till my dating scan! But will wait for blood results before I tell everyone.

Pancakes7 · 31/10/2018 11:40

@Newbie21 I hope all is ok. Get checked for reassurance.
