Keeping everything crossed for you @xJune88 that all is well with your scan tomorrow. Sorry you've had to deal with all this extra anxiety! Xxx

Pancakes7 · 28/10/2018 07:38

@xJune88 Fingers crossed all is ok again. Try to think positive until you know any different. Which I know is hard. Bad timing with visitors too. Do they know you're pregnant? Let us know how your scan goes today. I'm glad you've booked a private scan, great you managed to get it on a Sunday.

Pancakes7 · 28/10/2018 07:39

@Jessabean Congratulations on finding out the gender! Beautiful scan pic!

Pancakes7 · 28/10/2018 08:01

My symptoms are disappearing which is making me worry. I'm 10 weeks + 3. My boobs don't hurt anymore. Still some nausea and fatigue. But I'm worried if it's gone wrong. Anyone else got less symptoms at this point?

frankiefumbles · 28/10/2018 09:51

@Pancakes7 I'm 10+5 and my symptoms totally went at 10+2. It was sheer luck I had a scan at 10+3, just to show mum socially. I didn't know when I booked it I would have no symptoms. Baby was fine. Aside from my cold, I've got no pregnancy symptoms aside from slightly fussy eating. I'm sure it's all okay in there!!!

@xJune88 thinking of you and hoping for the best x

Pancakes7 · 28/10/2018 10:22

Thanks @frankiefumbles that makes me feel a bit better. I just start worrying. I think also because I'm coming up to the time things went wrong last time. Although it being an mmc they think it actually ended around 6wks. So I know really I'm past that stage but I still get those fears creeping in. 2 weeks tomorrow till my dating scan. It can't come soon enough!

xJune88 · 28/10/2018 10:48

Baby is all good flouncing around like a mad bean 😂 no reason for bleeding and she's moved me to 12 weeks today

@xJune88 yippee!!!! That's wonderful. Sadly for you this must just be normal for you! Oh dear. Well it's GREAT news it's all okay in there but I don't suppose it's any less worrying!

frankiefumbles · 28/10/2018 12:01

@Pancakes7 are you in a position to take yourself for a reassurance scan? I did one and didn't tell DH and I don't think it has impacted on him at all. I feel a lot more reassured. I know it's a waste of money but tbh it's no worse than all the other ways you'd normally waste money on meals out or alcohol or etc etc!

toasterstrudle · 28/10/2018 12:44

Fantastic update @xJune88 !!

Jessabean · 28/10/2018 14:38

🤗so happy for you @xJune88. That's great news! They do say bleeding can be normal for some women in pregnancy. I hope it does settle down for you though as must still be worrying each time.

Pancakes7 · 28/10/2018 15:26

@frankiefumbles I've had 2 scans already. One only last Saturday. Only 2 weeks to go now so will try and wait. I really need to try and think positively and remember the healthy scans.

Pancakes7 · 28/10/2018 15:27

@xJune88 I'm so glad all is ok. Baby looks beautiful. 12 weeks wow. I hope you can feel calmer now.

xJune88 · 28/10/2018 16:02

Thankyou all ❤ xx

Newbie21 · 28/10/2018 16:21

Amazing news @xJune88. Goodness, pregnancy is stressful at the best of times but that little one is definitely putting you through. Glad all is well though. 12 weeks - huge milestone! Congratulations x

HidCat · 28/10/2018 16:37

@xJune88 omg so relieved for you! I hope the bleeding stops and you can enjoy pregnancy from now on.

Newbie21 · 28/10/2018 22:46

Hi ladies, I'm 7wks+2 today and last night when I went to bed I started getting terrible lower abdominal cramps and diarrhea. I got all clammy and thought I was going to be sick but wasn't. It passed after about an hour of real pain and diarrhea and then my stomach has been tender all day today and I've had very very slight cramps but no more diarrhea. Sorry for the detail but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this? I know diarrhea and constipation is common in pregnancy but i wasn't sure if the bad cramps were?. I haven't had a scan yet and the first one I have booked is in 2 weeks. As you can imagine, I'm worried the cramps might be a sign of an MC. I had an MMC previously and had a D&C so I don't know what an MC at this stage would feel like.

frankiefumbles · 29/10/2018 01:09

Hi @Newbie21

TMI girls! I have had something slightly similar in the very early days of this pregnancy before I really knew I was pregnant (around when period was due ish). I felt atrociously sick with a painfully bloated stomach which was only resolved (eventually) by a couple of toilet trips. This poorly/painful tummy is something that occurs to me irregularly anyway and I'm not sure the reason. I think it's triggered by something I've eaten. With my cold more recently I also had the clammy/sick/almost/faint sensation preceding a toilet trip. It's so very hard to tell what's right and what's not.

What I would do is ring the surgery and ask for a call back consultation because you are pregnant and concerned because of cramps. If you have cramps or bleeding they usually take it seriously and deal with you quickly. You should find yourself either reassured by the Dr or alternatively sent in to EPU for a scan to check all is okay.

frankiefumbles · 29/10/2018 01:14

Also TMI girls skip if you might find detail upsetting

personally for me, my strong cramps for a natural MC (7+3 but growth less the 7 weeks) started in the evening but I had already had some minor bleeding by that point. My cramps came in waves, I believe similar to mini contraction type waves (I was told it's a similar type of movement) and the whole situation resolved itself over the course of almost a full 2 days. To me it sounds like if yours have eased and not come back you are probably in the clear but I don't know if my mc is representative of every mc. Sending hugs either way. Not nice to have worry x

Newbie21 · 29/10/2018 06:06

@frankiefumbles thank you so much. I think I'll call GP and see what they say.

toasterstrudle · 29/10/2018 07:59

Oh my god the waiting game is driving me crazy!! Got my epu scan booked for next Friday (9th) when I'll be 8+3. Can't face a private scan before then as they're all an hour drive away and I'd have to go on my own. Also feel like if it's bad news I want to be in the epu. I'm driving myself mad symptom spotting too! I'm a bit nauseous but nothing like I was with DS or the mmc. But then, I guess I'm only 6+6. Need the time to pass quicker!!

toasterstrudle · 29/10/2018 08:02

I think it also doesn't help that the mmc would have been due on the 4th Nov. Two close friends from my antenatal group are pregnant with number 2 and I just really want this one to work out for us Sad

frankiefumbles · 29/10/2018 08:12

@Newbie21 also FYI.

I woke up at 1am and did quite a lot of reading about my own bloat that was keeping me up. This is of interest
www.babycentre.co.uk/a562886/wind-and-bloating-in-pregnancy
Good luck!

@toasterstrudle Time will pass! It's just over a week away and things probably are all fine - symptoms do naturally vary daily and fingers crossed you'll see a fat little bean soon!

Pancakes7 · 29/10/2018 08:44

Had a crying but I don't know why moment yesterday. My DH was really good though and just gave me a hug. Hormones are crazy. Feeling sick as usual this morning. Hopefully will ease as the day goes on. In work car park putting off going in early.

Newbie21 · 29/10/2018 09:09

Oh no @Pancakes7. Hope you are ok. The hormones do go crazy. I am so moody at the moment and I hate myself for it. So unnecessary - I think it's the hormones combined with the stress of early pregnancy. Maybe get yourself a hot chocolate - make you feel a bit more cosy. Even if you do have to work today hope the day goes quick for you.

I have a question - are any of you ladies NOT planning on finding out the sex until the arrival? Or anyone uncertain about whether to or not?

I think that I won't, I didn't for DS although I just felt like I was having a boy. I don't mind either way. I suppose practically it might be helpful to find out but I quite like the excitement of guessing and finding out at the time. I guess having had an MMC before I also see the benefit of no surprises.
