@xJune88 so sorry you have all this worry. Everything crossed that your little baby is fine. I hope the professionals can give you an assurance to make you feel better.

Swisbest2 · 24/10/2018 13:52

@xjune88 hang on in there my sister had full on periods with her 5th and my mum did with me hence not knowing until 5 months. Its so hard though not being able to do anything

Maydot · 24/10/2018 13:59

@xJune88 That’s so rubbish, this little one really is causing a lot of worry!!
Have you called EPU? How long ago was your last scan?

xJune88 · 24/10/2018 16:11

Not guna call epu yet. I might aswell live there haha I've had 5 scans so far!! They did say they'd scan me every week though 🙈 aslong as baby is ok I can deal with it. No pain. Guna wait it out and book a private one for the weekend was only scanned on Friday. At weekend I'll be over 11 weeks then will have nuchal the following week if all is ok. Break up from work tomorrow so will be able to take it easy 🤞 also have rhesus negative to worry about but they've said they'll do nothing until 12 weeks which is stressing me out! Ahh! 🤞🤞

kisses4u · 24/10/2018 16:30

Oh no @xJune88 hope you are ok? Many women spot throughout pregnancy, I was told to expect to with the SCH I've got but I've been ok since my bleed at 6 weeks. Fingers crossed for you.

My booking in app was pretty good, did my bloods and urine. We were in there 40 minutes and DS was a little cherub! The midwife thought he was such a good boy (little does she know) haha! I'm still struggling to take on fluids, I'm only peeing once or twice a day atm. My urine sample was orange! Back to work tomorrow after missing another week, got to try to complete a shift. It's so hard though when you keep running to the loo 🤢

kisses4u · 24/10/2018 16:31

How was your booking app @frankiefumbles

Swisbest2 · 24/10/2018 18:54

Takr it back about the boobs hurting less. Just took my bra off and had to move wuickly to stop the kitten getting in the loo and swore really loud 😂

frankiefumbles · 25/10/2018 07:12

@Pancakes7 I'm convinced it's a girl and I will find out at NIPT...ooherrr!

@kisses4u my pee was like a good golden farmyard cider. Grim.

I'm so disappointed with life because yesterday I felt I was just a bit better and today I've woken up with a full cold, snot and sore throat. And a really surreal dream about not being able to find public toilets. Off to investigate Lemsip-replacements.

Re booking. Was a bit repetitive.

I scored “0” points on the booking in list so I’m nice and low risk and if I wanted I could have a home birth. Eek!

Most hilariously in all of this, I’ve been categorised as an “extreme” exerciser 😂 I’ve never been called such a thing in my life, so was highly amused. Apparently high levels of physical exercise (apparently the fact that I’ve spent the last 5 weeks on the sofa doesn’t change it) can sometimes reduce baby’s growth. Because (ha-ffffkking-ha) my abs might constrict it?! This is literally the most funny thing I’ve heard. I’m a sofa dweller and cake eater with what I consider to be occasional exercise 😂 but lols. I’ve never seen an ab and I don’t think I’ve got even one under all the Nutella padding 😂 I know if i deny baby oxygen it'll make it smaller but the idea that my abs might stop it...I think my midwife might believe in a few old wives tales...

Amusingly she told me I can ride my bike up to giving birth (she doesn't know how I ride my bike) and that if I feel up to it the marathon in a fortnight is "fine". Well. At the moment honestly going to Tesco is challenge enough never mind a marathon

frankiefumbles · 25/10/2018 07:14

@Swisbest2 that's funny. We have a really narrow door on the shower because only half slides and I keep catching my nipples on the door. It's killing me. At some point in the distant future I don't think the bump will fit through the shower door!

Pancakes7 · 25/10/2018 08:50

@frankiefumbles Have you booked a private NIPT? I'll find out at 20 weeks, unless I pay for a private scan earlier. It's still only £75 so not too bad. I sort of think it'd be nice to know before Christmas. Plus can get bits in sales.

Swisbest2 · 25/10/2018 08:50

@frankiefumbles hahaha ouch!! I had these weird like electric shock pains in them last night enough to make you gasp really strange sensation.

Stupidly mentioned to my mum i want another scan before 12 week yesterday (shes a nurse) ans she is now freaking out thinking that sometijngs wrong so i had to say i dont want one everythings fine to shut her up. She doesnt understand. I have got strong symptoms obviously first scan went well no bleeding or pain but after the mmc i cant trust that is enough. You guys understand im sure

Pancakes7 · 25/10/2018 13:18

@Swisbest2 I completely understand. I actually booked mine and didn't tell anyone. I told DH once booked and close friends. But only told family after with a surprise scan pic. Maybe do that?

Pancakes7 · 25/10/2018 13:23

I'm 10 weeks today. Last time things all came to a head at 10 weeks +5 . So will be glad when I'm at 11 weeks. Even happier when i get my scan.

HalfBloodPrincess · 25/10/2018 14:10

@pancakes7 my mmc was at 11+3. This time I have my dating scanning the 5/11 at 11+3 and I feel like I don’t want to go. Im a bit emotional at the moment as my due date for the mmc is 11/11 so the dates being near/the same is making me more nervous.

Swisbest2 · 25/10/2018 14:25

@pancakes7 yeah i will def be doing that tbh i deal with stuff better if i have a bit of time to myself so ill probably just go on my own altogether and then see how i feel after. No rush. I say that as im sat here already with my jeans undone and my little satsumas now look like these swollen grapefruit so maybe theyll guess lol

Swisbest2 · 25/10/2018 14:38

With my mmc brown discharge right from 5w3 where they said sac had reached but small blees 9w1 and 10w6 8w1 now so just gotta wait i guess. We all have these hurdles to mentally overcome its sad but its nice that others get it. Sometimes i feel so angry. My friends 16yr old daughter got pregnant same time as me first time smoked weed drank and was anorexic gave birth and when i saw the baby i felt sick and numb. Horrible isnt it. I couldnt stop myself though. Anhbody else get these kind of thoughts?

Newbie21 · 25/10/2018 17:42

@HalfBloodPrincess I have a scan booked for 11/11 and that is the due date for the one I lost from my MMC too. This is probably a very odd outlook but I know I'm going to be sad that day so if a little ray of sunshine can come to us that day with a scan of a healthy heart beating baby then it can only be a good thing. It doesn't replace what we have lost but it still brings joy and hope while I can separately still grieve. And whilst the "what if the baby is not ok?" thoughts keep circling my mind I keep telling myself that i will have to be strong to try and deal with it but I should be hopeful and not assume the worst.

Swisbest2 · 25/10/2018 18:53

@newbie21 its good to think of it that way. it does make you feel like you can now deal with anything and does make us stronger. Women are incredible at doing that and keeping their shit together. Whatever the outcome we got this.

Happysbno4 · 25/10/2018 20:37

@halfbloodprincess a good friend said after my Mmc that the little soul of the lost baby will wait to born at another time. I found this comforting.

As for me 12 +2 today booking in scan Friday but was back at epu today as i had another red fresh bleed on Saturday/Sunday. It was the worst yet tmi but running out of me. Little bean was doing somersults today!

So I've had intermitten red blood 4 times and brown old blood since 15th Sep! Its a mind fuck pardon my French my MMC at 9 weeks absolutely nothing!!!

Swisbest2 · 25/10/2018 20:59

Oh my god @happysbno4 i bet youre relieved your baby is a determined/feisty little one 😊 like that saying will try to remember that.

Newbie21 · 25/10/2018 21:59

@Happysbno4 gosh that must have been so scary for you. At least your little bubs is doing ok. Isn't it crazy? You think all is well and you have an MMC, you in constant worry through bleeds and all is well. This pregnancy stuff is a real rollercoaster!!

kisses4u · 26/10/2018 06:02

@Happysbno4 glad all is ok despite the bleeds! What a worrying time for you! You have a strong one in there! 💪

So I was admitted to gynae yesterday for rehydration fluids, turns out my booking in urine sample was a bit squiffy and with all the vomiting they felt it was best to get me filled up with some fluid. Work were amazing about it. Felt dreadful leaving half way through my shift. However gotta think of bean and what's best for her (I'm hoping girl too @frankiefumbles) got home late and bed and asleep by 8 (hence why I'm up so early I guess) trying to eat some rice crispies before DS wakes up! Yikes!

Happy Friday everyone! And got those who have Kids, let's hope our OH give us all a lie in tomorrow!!! Half term an all! It's been a full on week for most 🙏

HidCat · 26/10/2018 07:41

Hi ladies sorry I've been MIA! Had a great scan on Tuesday and they confirmed a baby girl! We decided we would post on Facebook now that we've had a good 20week scan and already had 2 offers of bags of clothes for her lol.

@xJune88 I'm so sorry things are difficult for you and so many others on here having bleeds. I hope everything continues to be ok for you all.

@Swisbest2 it's awful isn't it? My cousin got pg the same time as the baby I lost by accident from a casual fling, had planned on an abortion but went to the clinic at 20 weeks (no pre-natal care at all to this point) saw that she was having twin girls and couldn't go through with it. I'm proud of her for stepping up but I kept my distance whilst I dealt with my MC.

Swisbest2 · 26/10/2018 10:09

@hidcat ah congratulations 😊is it all feeling more real now?

Question to all my mum has panicked me cos i have felt literally so sick most of the day but havent actually been sick just close and she was like "oh" now im worried about that too

Jessabean · 26/10/2018 12:34

Congratulations @HidCat! That's great news!! 👧 💗
I've got my private 16 week gender this evening and and so excited yet petrified at the same time!

Sorry for not being on for a bit this week have just been trying to not think about stuff with scan coming up. Think by this point I could feel a bit more secure with things! Hopefully after today if all goes well!

@Maydot Sorry in particular for rubbish reply! Similar to you think I may have had some movements but really not sure if it's just gas or something! Had moments where it feels like a little internal fluttering but it's not like a clear kick of anything! Guess it's just early days though!

@Swisbest2 don't worry re: not actually being sick- I only really had the constant nausea throughout first 3 months too- had a couple of days towards the end where was physically sick and yesterday morning as well randomly but wasn't the norm for me! Think that's quite normal too!
