Thou shalt share all photographs and good news and celebrate raucously that of others

Thou shalt not apologise for TMI, or pearl-clutchy words and language

Thou shalt add your handle, age, number of DC and EDD when joining the thread to roll call so we know where everyone is (thanks!)

Sorry been quiet and not answering just can't face this forum some days strangely as it is what gets me through. 2 days of clear discharge after alot of brown. Last scan was at 8+5 baby was perfect and beating away I'm now 9+2 moved my booking appointment so it's now this Friday when I'll be 10 weeks I'm going to book another scan as I'd rather know sooner than later if anything has happened after lasttime seeing healthy baby then it died the following week and stayed inside me with no signs for 5 weeks! I'm going to request my 12 week scan as soon as possible as last time I was 13+6 And to find out baby had died at 9 was dreadful. Hope everyone is ok xxx

xJune88 · 16/10/2018 12:38

Oh I'm 9+4 didn't realise it was Tuesday 😂

Pancakes7 · 16/10/2018 13:20

@xJune88 Good idea to have the extra scan. Good your discharge is clear now. I've just booked another scan for this Saturday when I'll be 9 weeks +2. I need the reassurance as same as you it took 5 weeks till I found out I'd had an mmc last time. Hoping all is well as I've been very ill this time. More nausea than last time. But who knows.

dreaminofholidays · 16/10/2018 13:57

@kisses4u we are having our 12 week scans on the same date.
Already nervous for it even though I just had a scan yesterday.

@pancakes7 @junex88 My husband joked when I left the scan yesterday I should have said 'see you next week' I just think better to do what we can to get through it. Plus I don't feel bad as I'm sure I have saved loads of money not drinking 😉

xxxx

12 weeks scan on the 5th November here too! Hopefully it’s a lucky day

frankiefumbles · 16/10/2018 14:35

@Pancakes7 this is the return trip! I've almost survived. It's 3.30am here though and I can't sleep. Probably travel nerves. I left my GPs address for me at my parents because I've moved but can't really be bothered to change GP but they are snotty about it because I live 30 mins away now.

@kisses4u I'm in Hawaii and now heading back home to the U.K. it's been quite a challenge! Once back in the U.K. that's it aside from a short trip around new year. Phew!

@xJune88 very much agree with the finding out sooner than later. I've given up on "scans for positivity" and rather consider my scans to be more "eliminating the negative alternative".

HidCat · 16/10/2018 19:28

@Newbie21 congratulations on your bfp. I hope this is the one for you. I wasn't offered an early scan after 1 MC but if you ask they might let you so worth a try.

@frankiefumbles I hope your flight is ok and you don't suffer from too much sickness.

Newbie21 · 16/10/2018 19:35

@xJune88 totally agree with booking the scan otherwise you'll just have that niggling worry which causes stress in itself which isn't ideal. Best to put mind at ease.

I have booked a private scan for 11 Nov - I'll be over 8 weeks then so should hopefully reveal all is well. Bit of a weird date to have chosen as it would have been my due date for the one I lost. But it was the only weekend date I could find that worked. I guess hopefully bringing a ray of happiness that day will be a good thing.

Haven't been able to go to GP or arrange my booking in with midwife as neither picked up and I missed the appointment window at GP. Left a message for midwife dept to call me back. I know they probably won't see me until 8 weeks but was hoping GP could check my hormone levels are where they should be.

Martydog · 16/10/2018 20:38

Hi @newbie21 I think I recognise you from the other thread. I have had an early scan with all my pregnancy’s but that was because I was bleeding each time. I haven’t had a letter yet about my 12 week scan and going off my LMP I’m 9 +4 today as well.

Pancakes7 · 16/10/2018 20:50

@frankiefumbles It's good that it's your last flight for now. Have lots of rest when you get home. Hopefully you can sleep a bit on the flight. I'm finally feeling a bit less nauseous today. Managed to eat yesterday and today. What a relief! Although just makes me want the scan even more to make sure all is ok. They said it should be a normal ultrasound this time not an internal. Which is exciting.

Martydog · 17/10/2018 18:16

Is anyone using progesterone cream as I wondered how long I’m meant to carry on using it for?

xJune88 · 17/10/2018 19:26

I'm leaving ladies. Just felt a gush I'm pouring with blood and clots. Miscarriage number 3. Can't believe it. Goodluck to you all x

Newbie21 · 17/10/2018 19:35

xJune88 · 18/10/2018 12:07

Apparently miracles happen!! I had loads of red blood and I mean alot and then a big clot which looked similar to my last loss. Just had a scan.. I know I'm not safe yet but wow. It was jumping around and waving and kicking. I'm in love and very shocked!! Better rearrange a booking in appointment 😂

frankiefumbles · 18/10/2018 13:16

@xJune88 what amazing astounding news...I'm speechless.

What a bloody triumph! Is it too soon for poor jokes...

Wow!!!

HalfBloodPrincess · 18/10/2018 13:35

That’s awesome news @xjune88! Really pleased for you.

I had a scan today, measuring 8+6 which is spot on if I don’t include the 3 days of spotting before my lmp. Just realised though that my 12 week scan is booked for when i’m 11+3. Will this make any difference to if they can do the NT measurements correctly?
