My scan yesterday (thursday) had a heartbeat and was bang on dates!... still possibility of another bleed but unless it is with cramps and is a lot of blood then I am to not worry. Easier said than done!!!!. 9 weeks in a third of way through.

Exciting! Mine is slightly small on last period dates but right on when I believe I ovulated and DTD so I’m happy with that. She said it’s so close to the miscarriage that you can’t rely on the period dates or for ovulation to be on a set day.

So I am at 6+6 rather than 7+4, but a strong little heart beat at 149bpm, sac looking good. She was positive about it. Thankfully it was an external exam and she saw it easily.

Secretly I'm excited however! Waiting for the magic 12 weeks.

That's great news @frankiefumbles I bet you are feeling a little relieved now about your trip? I would be. That's a very reassuring scan! So you are only 3 days behind me! I was put back too. I also conceived straight after MC so dates are difficult. It means I did OV later than expected and we didn't DTD anywhere near that time when I look back, so must have been some swimmers lurking around waiting for that egg to arrive 😆 I'm feeling very lucky today, although I'm at the gp surgery now waiting to see about sickness medication. I'm really suffering and had dreadful hyperemesis with DS so just want to get it sorted early to avoid being off work too long. I think I was on cyclizine last time. Let see what the dr suggests. I don't like the idea of taking medication, however I had to with DS and he was fine.

@kisses4u it's a bit nerve wracking when you aren't quite sure about the dates because tbh no one really wants to measure small. However I feel quite chilled my dates fit with my guess of late ovulation and that kind of cross checks against the later DTD. I saw so little action that month I know exactly when it occurred (lols...as she sobs into a pillow at lack of action). Sounds like your swimmers were lined up ready to go and did a Michael Phelps to finish off their journey!

My GP has prescribed me three different lots of anti sickness to take on the fortnight hols with me just in case, but thankfully my nausea is manageable and doesn't result in actual puking.

You must be hugely relieved to have the feedback on the bleed and to know everything is settling down nicely. I treated myself to walking through the pram department in John Lewis. Getting carried away I know.

I'm not a Londoner, just passing through, but went to the Birth Company and highly recommend them. Their scanner very easily found my tiny bean externally.

@frankiefumbles and @Happysbno4 so glad you both had good scans. My s can is tomorrow at 10.40am. I'm terrified!! Feeling really sick with morning sickness anyway but now nerves too. I'm so scared if its the end. I can't bare the thought. Argh!!! I really hope I get good news too.

I just had a cry. So scared for tomorrow. I've never wanted something so much. I don't know how I'll sleep tonight.

I had my scan today as well unfortunately I couldn’t get a picture, but I saw a little heartbeat beating along. Measuring a little less than I thought but I don’t think the dates are accurate this early they put me dead on 6 weeks where I know I’m more like 7+2.

Pancakes7 I have been crying on and off all week even did in the scan room. 🤞it goes well

@Martydog I'm glad you're scan went well. I'm just so terrified. I can't imagine what I'll be like when I get there.

Hope you don't mind if I join you all! @Pancakes7 recommended you all. We have same due date (23rd May), and same experience of MC (in May at 10w).
I'm 35, this will be my first child. My hubby to be is 41 and we had been trying for over a year.
I've had nausea and sore boobs, but not that tired really.
Went for a scan today, which is the same time I had one in May, when they predetermined I would miscarry based on small size of the sac (despite heartbeat).
This time scan was awesome! Really strong heartbeat, measured bang on 7+3, and loads of room in the sac. Totally delighted!
Photo is rubbish, but makes it real!

Lovely to see some good news and scans. Hope tomorrow goes well @pancakes7 thinking of you. Counting down the days until Wednesday I should be 8+2/4 and then booking in on Friday. Praying bean is growing and the bleed has gone. X

Baby is measuring on track 7 weeks +2. Heart beating. Standing on its head. I can't believe it. We're so happy and relieved.

Yay @Pancakes7 that's brilliant!!! So funny that they are the size (and probably look like) gummy bears! That's what I think of now when I rub my tum! I think about it being a gummy bear 😂

@frankiefumbles I was crying as I laid down. I was so scared. She said quickly theres a baby and a heartbeat! So I cried more loll. It was amazing seeing the heart beating. I can't believe it. Such a relief.
