@jessabean what a lovely scan photo. Very pleased for you!

@junex88 So glad you had a good scan too but sorry you are feeling worried again. Has it eased up?

@frankiefumbles sounds like it should be fine and the doctor has just not chosen his words properly and concerned you.

I know what you all mean about the worry. I have an early scan this weekend, so scared it will all be over then but I just need to know xxx

frankiefumbles · 28/09/2018 17:29

I'm feeling calm now. The figures look fine. I think maybe he'd forgotten to have a coffee or something.

@Pancakes7 I know what you mean. There's almost zero chance I'm going to have time in my day to go to the appointment, especially if it's booked last minute, and hang around in an NHS queue 😂 I think it's better if you're employed because taking time off is more cut and dry. Self employed is more like...the more shit you don't do now, the more shit you have to do later!!

Maydot · 28/09/2018 17:43

Hey ladies, sorry I’ve been AWOL for a while.
Trying to get caught up today so apologies if I’ve missed something

Congrats on the positive scans @Jessabean and @junex88. So pleased you’ve made it past the dreaded 12 weeks @Jessabean!!
And @dreaminofholidays I’ll have everything crossed for you this weekend.

Anyone else got scans coming up?

So, I’ve had my 12 week scan today. I was dreading it, cried all the way there. But it went really well, everything is looking good and we’re measuring ahead of what we thought at 13+3 making my new due date 2nd April. Can’t actually believe it!!!

Pancakes7 · 28/09/2018 18:05

@Maydot I've got a scan a week tomorrow. Excited and nervous.

Maydot · 28/09/2018 19:18

Ahhhh how many weeks are you now @Pancakes7?
I know it’s impossible but try and stay calm and as positive as you can, how are your symptoms?

dreaminofholidays · 28/09/2018 19:49

@maydot yay! wonderful news on your scan.

@pancakes7 will be thinking of you tomorrow. how far along are you?

xxx

Pancakes7 · 28/09/2018 20:15

@Dreaminofholidays Oh my scan is a week tomorrow. So Saturday 6th October not tomorrow. Thank you though. @Maydot I'm 6 weeks +2 today. Will be 7 weeks +3 on my scan. Possibly more as I ovulated early. Off to Berlin Monday till Thursday though which will keep my mind busy.

Jessabean · 28/09/2018 22:11

Yay Congratulations @Maydot! 🎉
That's brilliant news! You must be so thrilled to move ahead a bit as well. Know how you feel- I'm still in disbelief too!

Pancakes7 · 28/09/2018 22:15

@Maydot I'm so glad all is good. 13 weeks plus is amazing.

PassTheAfterEights · 29/09/2018 18:34

Brilliant news @Maydot delighted for you!! We're 5 days apart now, I'm 28 March 🐣

So glad to hear about your 12 week scans @jessabean and @Maydot keeping my figures crossed for more good news for everyone else.

I’m going to whisper this quietly but today I’m feeling quite positive we’ve gone fully public today after having our gender scan. It was a well spent £50 as what I hadn’t realised is that they try to do as many of the checks they’d do at 20 weeks as they’re able to so we saw lots of little organs and they all look good! They couldn’t get a look at the heart but we heard a good heartbeat. I’m sure anxiety will return in a few days but today is a good day and the sonographer was as certain as she could be that we’re having a girl! We didn’t get great pics as she was turned away and standing on her head but the reassurance was worth it.

@Jessabean and @xJune88 I'm so pleased your scans went well this week and hope everything continues to go well.

@Happysbno4 I hope things continue to progress well despite the bleed. Our bodies can be bastards sometimes can't they?

@frankiefumbles I'm sorry you're having such a worrisome time. The hcg is nice and high and rising so that's tick box no.1 and without other symptoms I'm surprised he raised any flags. I hope you manage to get through the next few weeks without too much stress.

@Maydot yey for. Great scan. Really pleased for you!

@MisBit1 congratulations on your little girl! I've resisted a private scan so far and have my 20 weeks nhs scan on October 23rd so not too long to wait now. Nub theory points to a girl so fingers crossed I'll be joining you!

Pancakes7 · 30/09/2018 09:35

@MisBit1 Congratulations! Such wonderful news! A little baby girl. So happy for you. I hope I have some good news on my scan next week but I'm only 6 weeks +4.

dreaminofholidays · 30/09/2018 17:30

@misbit1 congratulations, a little girl, so exciting.

I had my early scan today, saw a little heartbeat flickering away and I am measuring 6+6 which is in line with where I thought. xxx

Pancakes7 · 30/09/2018 17:51

@Dreaminofholidays Aw great news! I am only a couple of days behind you. I'm 6 +4. But I think I ovulated early so who knows. I am so excited and anxious for my scan. Feeling so ill. I have been nauseous and been resting all weekend. Flying to Berlin early hours tomorrow. Fingers crossed I feel better tomorrow.

frankiefumbles · 30/09/2018 18:02

@MisBit1 congrats! Standing on head sounds terribly uncomfortable!! I hope she settles comfortably. She was obviously Australian in a past life and thinks the world is upside down!

@HidCat thanks. It's just a bit surreal because I've now convinced myself I'm "not pregnant" but it's just my mind playing tricks. I feel the same as before but maybe less tired.

@Pancakes7 feeling prepped for the flight? I'm packing to leave for a week in Chelt and London on Monday but also have to take the Hawaii flight on the Saturday so got to pack it all! In the London bag we've got two formal dinners with two suits and two proper dresses so I'm a bit beside myself I'm going to forget something in amongst all of this!

Pancakes7 · 30/09/2018 19:32

@frankiefumbles Wow you're going to have a very busy few weeks. I hope all goes well on your trip and holiday. Eugh my DH car has issues atm. Just checked mine and it's got a nail in the tyre! So had to book a taxi for airport now. Thank God we found one with availability. (We had airport parking booked) Not stress we need right now. Hopefully our holiday will be relaxing!

frankiefumbles · 30/09/2018 20:14

@Pancakes7 what a nightmare! Sounds like you are on your way now! Take it easy and make sure he spoils you ;)

MisBit1 · 30/09/2018 22:07

@HidCat ours was a girly nub too fingers crossed for you!

@dreaminofholidays that’s fab news, congratulations!

@frankiefumbles that did make me chuckle, I’ve never met an Australian I didn’t like so that’s a good sign right!

@pancakes7 what a nightmare at least everything else has gone your way, better you realised it now. Hopefully you can have a relaxing break now.

Pancakes7 · 01/10/2018 05:36

Thanks @MisBit1 and @frankiefumbles at the airport now.

frankiefumbles · 01/10/2018 07:40

@Pancakes7 I'm impressed you're up so early! Berlin awaits!

We are on the final pack. Have to leave at 10 and DH still not packed his stuff. He's really snookered me now because he's cooked fried eggs in coconut oil and that's just tipped me over the edge. The whole house stinks! Bleurgh!!!

xJune88 · 01/10/2018 19:27

Had another scan today baby is growing, bang on dates all really positive. But there is a bleed under the pregnancy sac which I now have to worry about :( I swear nothing with me is simple. Can't go through all the horror again really am praying baby stays put and sticky. Also mega worried about what a bleed means when I'm rhesus negative I don't have a midwife yet and doctor won't even speak to me so feel so lost!! :( x

dreaminofholidays · 01/10/2018 19:40

@junex88 did you go to the EPU? great news the baby is growing bang on dates.
Sorry you aren't getting answers. I'm sorry can't be much help as I don't really know anything about pregnancy but just wanted to send you thoughts xxx

xJune88 · 01/10/2018 19:43

Thankyou I had a scan at epu on Thursday, was a private one today but epu didn't mention bleed. Back at epu next Wednesday. Might ring them in the morning just for advice x

dreaminofholidays · 01/10/2018 21:17

@junex88 I think calling the EPU tomorrow morning is a good idea. xxx
