Yeah hubby is coming with me then he's away till Sunday evening depending what result we get. I really believed it was guna be 3rd time lucky. X

Jessabean · 27/09/2018 13:12

@xJune88 so sorry you're having to go through this. Keeping everything crossed for you for your scan & that it's a false alarm. Let us know how you get on.

All went well my end this morning. Can't quite believe it! Measuring still bang on dates at 12+3 and everything was looking healthy. In disbelief that we've made it this far & May actually be happening this time. Still think it will be a while before I relax fully though feel I can start now getting excited a bit without feeling guilty/like I'm jinxing things. Thank you all for the well wishing- properly started crying silently in the waiting room before the scan- everyone was trying not to make eye contact with me! 🙈

frankiefumbles · 27/09/2018 14:14

@Jessabean well done - it's tough. That's great news for you and so pleased it went well

@xJune88 hopefully the two things are just coincidental rather than linked x

kisses4u · 27/09/2018 14:31

That's great news @Jessabean congrats! Here's to a happy and healthy 6 months ahead! Xx

@xJune88 I hope you are ok, when are they scanning you? Today? Fingers crossed it's a false alarm! This was me last Thursday! Thinking of you xx

xJune88 · 27/09/2018 18:32

@jessabean congratulations. All good here too. Very early but so far so good. In right place with heartbeat. She said heartbeat was good and yolk sak was very healthy and big. Fingers crossed for 3rd time lucky! Xx

xJune88 · 27/09/2018 18:33

They've booked me another scan for 2 weeks too to hopefully reassure me as I've had 2 losses they offered which I thought was lovely x

kisses4u · 27/09/2018 18:46

Yeah excellent news @xJune88 that's lovely they offered you a second scan. How far along do they think you are? Anything to explain the spotting?

Jessabean · 27/09/2018 18:54

Thanks everyone just keep looking over my scan pics in disbelief!

@xJune88 that is great news! So happy that was a false alarm. Fingers crossed that's the end of any more little scares!

Pancakes7 · 27/09/2018 20:30

@xJune88 So glad all is ok and a good scan x

Happysbno4 · 27/09/2018 21:46

Another trip to EPU today after more bleeding.... all looking ok good rise in much levels Just looks like I'm going to have unexplained bleeding. So stressful.
Back for another scan next week.

For everyone else big hugs we can get through this! X

Pancakes7 · 28/09/2018 07:01

@Happysbno4 Oh no awful to have this added stress. I'm glad all is ok though. I hope no more worries.

Happysbno4 · 28/09/2018 08:06

Its a nightmare. My mmc not one symptom. No bleeding no pain no headaches.
This time all of the above!

frankiefumbles · 28/09/2018 09:49

@Happysbno4 what a nightmare

I'm currently waiting for the results of the blood tests to check HCG is rising. If it's still in there this is officially my longest pregnancy. I've got no sign to say there is an issue but that isn't really making me feel more secure. Results by end of the day I believe....clocks ticking.

Pancakes7 · 28/09/2018 10:06

@frankiefumbles I hope the day goes quickly for you. Thinking of you x

xJune88 · 28/09/2018 12:36

Had alot of brown discharge today and I mean alot so back to going out of my mind! Yipee. X

frankiefumbles · 28/09/2018 13:11

Well that was disappointing. It's not clear cut.

He says they are lower than he would like but that they are rising. But I didn’t ever tell him my dates so I’m not sure what he’s going from to say that it's slow?

Bloods were taken on 6+1 and 6+3 and came back at 23,000 and 33,000. Personally I think I ovulated late and so it was more like three days before that.

He said he’s going to ring the hospital to see if they are concerned enough for me to go in for a scan or if it can be left. Tbh I don’t like the sound of this.

They sound like nice high numbers to me but I've got no comparison what so ever and now just feel like the figures aren't good enough. I don't really like the idea of being referred for the scan and he asked me all these questions about whether I had miscarriage symptoms.

PassTheAfterEights · 28/09/2018 13:27

Sorry you have this worry @frankiefumbles & thinking of you - when will you hear more? And is it worth ringing your local EPU yourself and explaining - when I had early worries mine (although depends on local policy) said they were happy to do early reassurance scans with history of loss. xx

Hope you're OK and hanging in there too @martydog, just a week to go to the next scan xx

frankiefumbles · 28/09/2018 13:46

@PassTheAfterEights he rang back and asked for my LMP and then said that the HCG places me as the LMP would have me - but that he's still not happy with the fact that it's a 40% rise not a 60% rise.

Tbh I've kind of had it with the early scans and I think I'm just going to wait it out. There's nothing else he can do and I'm away from Mon morning for almost three weeks on work and then holiday so...I just don't really have the time to do anything about it. What will be will be. But I hope it's okay. Technically it actually looks okay but he's kind of spooked me with his tone. I don't think it was intentional. I'm (kind of) sure it's fine. It's just not as clear cut as i had hoped.

Tbh he sounds like he's covering his a$$ cos he phoned the hospital about the results and they asked why he was running reassurance hcg tests if I had no symptoms! Eek...

frankiefumbles · 28/09/2018 14:01

Looking at this info my figures seem perfectly normal so I'm a bit bemused as to why he presented it as a result that needed further discussion...!

frankiefumbles · 28/09/2018 14:02

@xJune88 brown is usually good? Old blood so no new worries?

Pancakes7 · 28/09/2018 15:15

@frankiefumbles Sorry you have more worry. I hope all is ok. The levels seem good going by that list you posted. I'm not very clued up in hcg levels I've never had mine measured. I'm just waiting for my private scan. Couldn't be bothered to try and get an nhs one.

Happysbno4 · 28/09/2018 15:25

Anything between a 35% and 60% rise in levels is considered normal. Mine own levels taken 9 days apart were a mid 40's rise. Everyone is individual and those rises can vary between 48-72 hours from woman to woman.

Anyone else feeling bitter at the loss of enjoyment in being pregnant? Pardon my language but its a mind f*#k!

Pancakes7 · 28/09/2018 15:43

@Happybsno4 Yes I feel sad that our enjoyment has been taken away. Replaced by fear and caution. Hopefully all worth it though and we get our babies.
