@jeanzbeanz thanks for chicken soup tip. I did buy some cuppa soup but haven't braved them yet. I'm getting so tired of having to brace myself for what effect it will have (I like your term 'in reverse') I did, to my great shame, eat a chicken pot noodle in the car on the way to our scan (classy!)
@Notquiteagandt Sorry you have had such a rotten time of it. I had HG in first pregnancy when I was much younger and I didn't even know that's what it was - it was just foul and vomiting constantly day and night is not something I ever want to experience again. It was completely different with our second daughter though - only sick a couple of times. Don't feel great this time though so guess they are right when they say every pregnancy is different. Thanks for passing on your doctor's words of reassurance. I'm lying here wondering whether to just take one of the pills as it's been such a crap day with it today (only actually sick twice but have felt rotten.) I do hope you start to feel better soon. My HG disappeared practically overnight at 17 weeks with dc1 so this 16 week theory must be true.
@MrsY87 Thanks for advice re NCT. A refresher course would be so much more useful and time wise much less impactful. I don't have a bee in my bonnet about doing NCT in particular (we couldn't afford it years ago with dc1/2) but I think it would be a good way to meet other Mum's and Dad's - it always seems that people stay in touch. I like the fact that a reunion is organised by the leader.
@Koalatom1 I'll look up Lazy Daisy, thanks.
@Lookingforadvice123 Lovely scan photo
Right, must go to sleep. Have been asleep on sofa for hours but only just in bed. Spent no time with my husband which just seems par for the course at the moment - sleeping for hours each evening isn't exactly conducive to quality time!
