@Teej51 Hi Hun. Welcome. I didn’t plan well either. Baby should be due Xmas day going by LMP but I ovulate later so I’m due the 28th. Have a horrible feeling he’s going to be 3 days early though 😂

I’m anterior placenta too and 21+3 and finally starting to feel some more movements. Not enough for DH to feel on the outside yet though. I’m feeling very greedy getting all the love 😂

Well I’m on my way to hospital. Woke up this morning, went to the toilet and wiped red blood. Then it dropped out of me. Sorry TMI but I am so scared. Handhold please x

Thanks girls. Me and DH are still here. Waiting to see doctors etc. Still bleeding. It’s not pouring out onto a pad but it’s still dripping and it’s quite watery red blood. Have no idea what that means. X

Thankyou so much everyone. God why is this pregnancy malarkey so hard.
I’m going home in abit. Doctor said there’s no infection or fresh blood on the swab. It seems to have stopped. It’s just light brown and dry blood now.
He said it could have been a burst vessel on the placenta or something but my cervix is closed. Very relieved but still so so scared that something is gonna happen.
Going home to put my feet up now.
Just waiting for my anti-d injection because I’m a special 15% of the population. That’s what they tell me anyway.
I read somewhere that it means I’m an extraterrestrial being 😁

@MagicalCreatures glad everything is ok. Pregnancy is such a rollercoaster and such a constant worry.

@applesauce1 I've just been advised that a daily Actimel drink is amazing for constipation relief. I'm going to start tomorrow and see if it's true.

I can’t even begin to tell you how scared I was.
I’ve had the odd bits of light brown spotting every 5-6 weeks throughout this pregnancy but this was bright red and dripping out of me. Luckily my DH hadn’t quite left for the gym and I just called him Into the toilet and blood was dripping over the floor and into my knickers when I stood up.
It honestly just felt like a horrible nightmare. I can’t believe it even happened. I just thought ‘this is it. It’s over’ 😢
Baby was kicking abit at the hospital though and at the moment it feels like he’s doing somersaults x

Did they not give an indication of reason? Or just a one off?

All he said is it’s quite normal to have a burst blood vessel from the placenta.
And that obviously I’m still too early anyway for them to be able to do anything if I was to lose him.
So hopefully it’s just a one off. X

Ohhhh gosh MagicalCreatures, this sounds awful, I bet you were so scared. So glad to hear you were reassured. Ive my fingers crossed all is good for you. xxx

Any advice on pain relief for an ear infection? Im in so much pain. Ive taken a couple of paracetamol but really not keen on taking meds. Im gonna see the GP tomorrow I hope but it hurts like hell right now. Thanks guys. x

Just back from the gym. Starting to get funny looks now (25wks today and showing). Reckon someone would say something if I wasn’t permanently wearing my Fuck You face

Had my 25 week midwife appointment today, and my whooping cough jab. Bump is measuring precisely what it should but my blood pressure's a little high (138/76) so I'm seeing her again next week in the hope that it was a one-off (possibly due to having had the jab 45 minutes earlier) or whether it's something that needs an eye kept on it.

Also got my MATB1, which I promptly gave to myself in my payroll capacity and have decided that my last day of work will be Halloween. I've got a little bit of annual leave left to use after that but then it's a year off!

@magicalcreatures I'm really sorry you had to go through that, how terrifying. Hope it doesn't happen again. You poor thing. X
