My mum keeps telling me I’m carrying low. All I know is that it’s not beach ball enough for me yet 😂

Baby is very low down still and keeps kicking me in my knickers 😂

applesauce1 · 17/08/2018 17:18

TMI... Anyone else horribly constipated? Only managing pebblepoos and I have horrendous stomach ache. Eating dates and drinking my coffee allowance. Anyone got any tips?

My husband joked that possibly, I'm not pregnant after all. Just have a baby shaped shit stuck in my bowels. Ho ho ho...

December2018 · 17/08/2018 17:31

Haha applesauce 😂😂💩

Yeah my sisters hamster seems to be passing bigger turds than me at the moment!
I'm actually quite jealous!
I just want to poo like a normal human again... that's not too much to ask... surely???😜

applesauce1 · 17/08/2018 17:38

@December2018 That bloody hamster. Doesn't even know how lucky it is...

This is bringing back memory from my childhood that I haven't thought about in years. I'm about 5 or 6. Sitting on the toilet in the family bathroom wearing a faded, much-worn Lion King nightie. I'm crying because I am so constipated and my tummy hurts so much. My mum is crouched in front of me, stroking my hair off my scrunched up face and feeding me prunes. God I love my mum. I hope I'll be half the mummy she was to me.

Trailbunny · 17/08/2018 17:48

@December2018, ahh thats cool. They are obviously gonna be late and come on Xmas day right? hehehe.

Trailbunny · 17/08/2018 17:50

@applesauce I have been constipated the whole time, Ive also been wondering if the baby bump is mostly poo. Hahahaha

Athers666 · 17/08/2018 19:36

Hi everyone! Wondering if it would be ok for me to join this group? I've already been posting on another thread over in the pregnancy forum. I'm expecting a baby boy on December 15th x

kaytees · 17/08/2018 20:13

Fellow low bump here - definitely a bump but it's mega low. Also hurts a lot when I walk for awhile now which is annoying..

Welcome @Athers666, I remember you from the pregnancy loss thread! How are things going for you?

Athers666 · 17/08/2018 20:17

Good thanks @kaytees ! I have a low bump as well...so hard to climb steep stairs!

balalalala · 17/08/2018 21:04

Another low bump here which hurts when walking too much!

MagicalCreatures · 17/08/2018 22:19

@applesauce1 and @December2018 hilarious. I love it when you girls make me laugh out loud. On my own on the sofa looking like a crazy woman.
Such a cute story though @applesauce1 She sounds just like my mum. So bloody perfect and maternal. That why I want her at the birth.
I had pneumonia a couple of years ago and she would lie in hospital next to me rubbing my back coz I was in so much pain.

Ahhh yes the low bump and stairs @Athers666 - so frustrating! Especially when our room is a loft conversion. Sensible house choice from me 😞

AGirlinLondon · 18/08/2018 18:03

We did our nursery today. Mainly because I can already foresee a day when I will be too big and grumpy to do anything, we are getting ready ahead of time!

Teej51 · 19/08/2018 16:39

Hi Everyone!
Just been looking for a December Baby group :)

I am due Christmas Day (bad planning - no planning).
Would love to get to know some of you.

Having a panic day today - 21+5 and keep thinking...not felt baby today but I haven't felt her consistently so I know this is 99% nothing to worry about...still doesn't stop it though grr!

I hope everyone is doing well :)

T xx

WhatAnAbsolutePenis · 19/08/2018 22:15

Hey Teej, I'm due Christmas Eve.

My baby moves a lot but I still have the sudden panic of "have I felt him in the last few hours?!" I'm not sure if he's quiet or I've been to busy to notice him moving.

Athers666 · 19/08/2018 22:42

Bought the carseat today! Lol, so early but we've decided to do it bit by bit rather than all in one huge hit. Have put it in the car already to see how it fits, and now can't be bothered to take it out, so, will be be driving around with an empty baby seat for a few months yet 😂

AGirlinLondon · 20/08/2018 11:58

We have bought our car seat too but I can’t bear to install it and drive round with an invisible baby - it’s freaking me out having an empty nursery already!! 😬

December2018 · 20/08/2018 15:57

Agirlinlondon
I bet your nursery looks fab!!! Ours is still only half done 🙀

I've got the 2nd half of my 20 week scan at 6 I'm so exited to see my little squishy potato 💙💙
Hopefully he's behaving today so I can get a few scan pictures of him (he was too wiggly last time)

December2018 · 20/08/2018 15:58

Hi teej
Welcome to our fab group!! XX

AGirlinLondon · 20/08/2018 17:10

Good luck @December!!! I’m just back from day assessment. 25 weeks tomorrow and have felt baby a lot less the past few days so I went in for a check. As you can imagine soon as I got there baby hugely embarrassed me, nearly kicked the Doppler off my tummy 🙄 having a dance party - but they were very kind and I felt very reassured so I would recommend it!

Athers666 · 20/08/2018 18:43

@december2018 Aww at little squishy potato! Cute description 😁

December2018 · 20/08/2018 19:30

Here's the little guy! Everything was fine much better behaved this time 😜 xxx

AGirlinLondon · 20/08/2018 19:51

Lovely!!!!

emwithme · 20/08/2018 20:27

You know when you keep meaning to update a thread, and then you don't, because non reasons ? That's me that is.

The last couple of weeks have been really busy, appointment-wise. Have been seen by cardiology, had my second cervical length scan, had a telephone consultation with the peri-natal mental health team and then saw the consultant again. All the scans and tests came back entirely normal, I don't need to have a stitch, and at this point I am having an almost textbook pregnancy for someone who is ridiculously complicated on paper, anyway Grin

I have my whooping cough jab tomorrow, and a midwife appointment...and dammit I've just realised I used my last pee sample bottle last week at the consultant! Damn.

DH is currently away in the Arse End Of Wales on Annual Camp with his Army Cadets and is currently out on exercise being rained on! I am loving being able to eat all the food he doesn't like and sleeping like a starfish!

Feeling the movements a lot more, even with an anterior placenta. DH managed to feel a couple of kicks the other night when she was dancing away to The Stone Roses, and then last night the GirlCat and The Bump were playing pat-a-cake with me in the middle! Was so sweet (especially as neither of our cats are really lap cats, and the GirlCat is particularly full of the Fuck Yous).
