Cervix was posteria and not open enough to make it worthwhile. She had a good poke around though. Not pleasant, but worth a try!
Although she did say my cervix is thinning, so I suppose that's something.

Do you think I could ask someone to do one after my CTG scan on Friday at the hospital?

Well, night all..I say all..all of the 4 of us left and one of those at least is in hosp!

Will get Mr Scoot to post if there is any news..typically I feel quite twingey so probably will get not much sleep..oh well..

Congrats ITS what a fab name! Fergus is my sisters boyfriends name and i love it. WOW he was huge, hope you are ok.

Yup, still here..have to go in at 2.30..bit worried as woman on phone said 'Bring your notes', not 'bring all your stuff'..just assumed they would keep me in until I had had the baby!Dont think I can take another night of this!

nice to see you BTW..Was wondering if you were alright as hadnt seen you on in a bit..but then sure you are a trifle busy!How is lovely Beau?

Hello all I've been told to call myself Mr Scoot!

Just to let you know that Mae Elizabeth was born this morning at 2.19am, weighing 8lbs exactly. Both mother and baby are doing really well.

Scoot herself may well be coming home at some point today so she will be able to tell yuo all about it then.

Also, just to say a big thanks to you all as I know that you have all been a big support to my wife since she began talking to you all, and I think its a great thing to be able to share both the ups and downs of pregnancy with others in the same boat.

Good morning ladies!

Congrats everyone!

Eventually went into spontaneous labour 1am on the day of the induction!

After a rather traumatic birth (more to follow!), Leila Sofia was born, 7lb 14oz, at 1.30 pm on the 5/6/07

I have to say I was very impressed with the staff at QC and Chelsea throughout. The way the media portray the NHS you would think we really are living in a 3rd world country! Although the birth was difficult to say the least, I had top quality care and everything was explained fully to me at all stages.

To say I am exhausted is an understatement! 5 hrs slep in 2 nights - better get used to it!

Minipop you're my inspiration - there's still hope I will go into labour before induction then.

Having acupuncture this afternoon. Let's hope that does the trick.

Um kinda..feel a bit battered...and currently sitting with one tiny baby crying on knees and a very weepy 17 month old clinging to my ankles...so am wondering what have let self in for!
