hello

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
foxybrown · 31/05/2007 17:17

oh I'm so bored I have the Baby Channel on! Lordy it is poor!

S'pose I'd better go and muster up some dinner.

annobal · 31/05/2007 17:34

Hurrah - dinner done and now on homeward stretch (wait for DH to get home for bath, story, bed )

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 31/05/2007 17:41

My DS went swimming today....so no need for a bath tonight....

bumperlicious · 31/05/2007 17:41

Good news about the LOA, never heard of it before but this one definitely is, feel a bit better about having feet sticking into my ribs on the right now!

foxybrown · 31/05/2007 17:42

annobel!

annobal · 31/05/2007 17:49

Did I mention he's cooking tonight as well?

Don't LOs just make your heart melt sometimes? Tom has just told me that he thinks I'm the prettiest princess in the world

hollyandalice · 31/05/2007 18:11

I know annobal, my dd is so sweet! I had a little cry just now and she came up to me and practically snogged me and wiped my tears and told me not to cry! I feel really guilty for being cross with her earlier!

My dp is coming home! I think he felt a bit guilty for leaving me again.

Foxy what is the horniman museum? I haven't caught up with the posts from yesterday yet, so am a bit behind! Sounds interesting though !

annobal · 31/05/2007 18:19

Holly, that is so sweet. BTW, did you get your wallpaper? Horniman Museum is in Dulwich - it has great kids stuff, including a music room, aquarium, beehive behind perspex (to name a few), set in huge grounds (for Dulwich) with a small (tiny) zoo in it as well.

hollyandalice · 31/05/2007 18:22

No wallpaper yet. At the rate that dp is spending money atm we won't be able to afford any so it'll be bare plaster for us!

The horniman museum sounds great, I thought it was some sort of crazy porn exhibition!

lulumama · 31/05/2007 18:24

how's the prolapse, westcoaster ?

any babies yet ? full moon tonight, good night for birthing !

hollyandalice · 31/05/2007 18:27

No more babies yet lulu! We are all a bit slow on this thread, maybe we are just not having enough sex!

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 31/05/2007 18:30

No babies Lulu, but lots of hopeful ladies, me included

.......had lots of contractions going on last weekend, but then I had a bath and it all stopped. Intermittent through the week, but it seems to have stepped up a gear today again (but maybe I'm just de-hydrated), but I've had horrible backache all day too....

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 31/05/2007 18:33

I thought the full moon was tomorrow night?

hollyandalice · 31/05/2007 18:38

It best not be daisy! If my baby comes tomorrow I shall seriously hurt my dp (the boys are down, therefore won't get my home birth!). He will be held completely responsible and I will never forgive him! Am I harsh?!

lulumama · 31/05/2007 18:39

why won;t you get a homebirth?

don;t forget the nipple stim either !

annobal · 31/05/2007 18:57

Full moon is on June 1st - does that mean tonight or tomorrow night (sorry for being thick)? Better work - next full moon isn't until the 30th June!

hollyandalice · 31/05/2007 18:58

My dp has 3 sons lulu and they are with us this weekend. There is nowhere for them to go if things start and there is no way I am sitting naked in a pool with 3 teenaged boys in the house!! They live a 3 hour round trip away, so dp can't take them back if I am in labour. I am just crossing my fingers that bubs can wait til after the weekend. I should be ok, I'm only 37+2 and dd was 12 days late.

I shall be saving the sex and nipple stim for monday!

bumperlicious · 31/05/2007 18:58

Bless my DH, he has just brought me home In Style magazine coz it had some flip flops on it that I need for my hospital bag. He's a good boy! Check them out, they are just cheap and cheerful but I got zebra print ones!

lulumama · 31/05/2007 18:58

i seeeee !!

i;d wait too !

bumperlicious · 31/05/2007 18:59

Thanks for checking up on us Lulu!

DesperateDerlor · 31/05/2007 19:01

hello, knock knock can i come in??

foxybrown · 31/05/2007 19:03

Did consider coming on and yelling

MY WATERS HAVE BROKEN

but decided it would have been too cruel!!

Yes, Horniman museum is fab - perfect for lo's and very child friendly. Wish we'd thought of it sooner - BZ went today, but was too late for me as DP needed the car (not brave enough to do the bus with my 3 and 8 months pg!). Is it any good for you? For some reason I think you are on the train line which would go through East Croydon. Have I made that up???

foxybrown · 31/05/2007 19:03

only if you have some news for us Derlor.

You've been very quiet today. Not been off giving birth have you?

DesperateDerlor · 31/05/2007 19:05

well i've certainly had a productive day Foxy - shall i tell you???

hollyandalice · 31/05/2007 19:08

Foxy you are cruel! All I saw was MY WATERS HAVE BROKEN and I got all excited! Meany! I don't know about Croydon. Trains from me go to Waterloo or Victoria. I'll find out.
