hollyandalice · 31/05/2007 19:10

News derlor?? Are you in labour??

bumperlicious · 31/05/2007 19:10

Foxy, is the horniman in East Croydon? My mum lives along that train line not far from there so could combine a visit with her with a meet up with you guys.

bumperlicious · 31/05/2007 19:11

Tell us derlor - I actually think it is dangerous to leave several heavily pg women in suspense!

annobal · 31/05/2007 19:11

BTW the full moon at the end of June is a Blue Moon - not sure of the significance of that in pregnancy/giving birth if any...

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 31/05/2007 19:12

DERLOR???????

TALLULAHBELLE · 31/05/2007 19:12

Spill Delor.

TALLULAHBELLE · 31/05/2007 19:13

Soz DERLOR

DesperateDerlor · 31/05/2007 19:13

nothing so exciting i'm afraid Holly - my sister came for the day with her 6 month old DD and we had a lovely lunch - then i went for my waxing then managed to WALK round to the school to pick up DD from playgroup - haven't been able to walk that far for weeks now so am very proud of myself!
getting prepared for my full moon dance tomorrow night - can't decide what sort of costume to wear

annobal · 31/05/2007 19:14

That'll teach me to leave a message not posted and walk away - total change of topic

Horniman Museum is in Dulwich

DesperateDerlor · 31/05/2007 19:15

sorry for the excitement there - maybe put Daisy into labour though????

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 31/05/2007 19:15

Ooooh you had us all excited for a few minutes......

....I'm going for a bit of wode and some feathers....think I'll look fetching as I weave in and out of the holly trees in out garden....

bumperlicious · 31/05/2007 19:15

Grrr! We were getting all excited then Derlor! Thought you might have just popped the baby out!

TALLULAHBELLE · 31/05/2007 19:16

Surely no costume needed

hollyandalice · 31/05/2007 19:17

Lol derlor! Sounds like you had a good day! Daisy did that excitement set you off??

annobal · 31/05/2007 19:18

LOL Derlor. Wonder how many naked pregnant ladies will be out dancing in the moonlight tomorrow...

hollyandalice · 31/05/2007 19:18

Surely the custom for full moon dances is to wear nothing but patchouli oil and hairy armpits!

foxybrown · 31/05/2007 19:20

Closest train to Horniman Museum is Forest Hill which is one stop from East Croydon.

How about we all meet up there at midnight tomorrow, and dance naked around the rose garden to get things moving? Anyone who can't make it to SE London could do so at any park local to them.

bumperlicious · 31/05/2007 19:20

Why was foxy asking about East Croydon then ? Hopefully I could still meet up with you guys anyway if I can manage the trip to me mum's, she is only half hour train ride from London. Although I did tell DH that I would NEVER get the train on my own with the baby (I have a fairly irrational train phobia! Can keep it under control now but not sure what I would be like with a little one!)

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 31/05/2007 19:20

No such luck....but I've been getting lots of backache today and the contractions are back...annoying but not regular or painful.

Although it could just be down to dehydration and sore kidneys.....my sample this morning for the midwife was like soup....nice!!

DesperateDerlor · 31/05/2007 19:20

Daisy - i feel comforted by your info re baby to the left - my LO is definately lying head down with it's back to my left so i'm well about that - thank you

bumperlicious · 31/05/2007 19:20

Gotcha Foxy, well, bear me in mind too when you are planning it!

Seansfatlass · 31/05/2007 19:20

Hi Girls,

Hope you are all well. Just checking in to let you know am ok, so is bean. Am still just being constantly monitored, which although the hospital is a 3 minute car drive from my house still manages to take 3 hours! TG my DM is around I am in debt big style after this week! Had a consultant appointment yesterday which didn't get me any further forward than they have now put me on a drug called 'urso' (that is the shortened version of a big name) in an attempt to reduce my bile acid level which is fairly consistently the same. I then have to go next wed to see consultant and depending on my results/monitoring they will give a date for induction. My MW at the hospital said be prepared that they may give you a sweep on wed and then go for a friday induction (this will be 37 weeks) or possibly early the following week.

Sorry not around just don't seem to have a lot of time to myself. But I do miss you lot and will be back when I can.

love to all xxx

hollyandalice · 31/05/2007 19:22

Trains and babies is hell bumper! My local station has no ramps or lifts. I had to get the train with dd last week. I had to lug the buggy up and down two flights of stairs each way. I was crying by the time I got home!

TALLULAHBELLE · 31/05/2007 19:22

Good to hear you're OK and getting good care, SFL

DesperateDerlor · 31/05/2007 19:23
