hello

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Are we about to have another Daisybump, is she isn't she night?

I stopped taking the medication a week ago now and so far nada, apart from a few light BH's and a couple of pereiod-type pains that went away again. Baby sputnik is still on the launch pad. This could end up worse than one of those NASA jobs. Still, I don't reach term til monday, when I'm due to see the gynae. If she's true to form she will give me a sweep, as she's an understanding type. Still, apparently they don't work unless you're on the verge already.

Very intereesting about the calcium Annobal, I bought some supplements last week when you gave me the tip for restless legs, but didn't need them in the end as sardines and ice-cream seemed to do the trick. Perhaps I'll deploy them in a week or so.

annobal · 01/06/2007 15:00

Can you eat icecream while bouncing on your birthing ball?

Have just put a dvd on for dss - hopefully this will stop me shouting at them . Poor things have done nothing wrong today and I am just in a rotten mood.

sputnik · 01/06/2007 15:02

ooh that's exciting Brownsuga, let us know if there are further developments and if not then best of luck for tomorrow. It must be difficult sitting round waiting now.

annobal · 01/06/2007 15:04

Sounds as tho there might be a couple of births - so far!! Very exciting!

BrownSuga · 01/06/2007 15:14

i don't think i could have waited another week. 3rd week off work, and you can only do so much walking the dog, gardening and baking. well i could have done housework, but who can be bothered with that!

bumperlicious · 01/06/2007 15:20

Ooh, exciting, Brownsuga and daisy! Good luck!

Muffins are great by the way and dead quick to make so I would recommend them for alleviating guilt at DH/Ps, suffering DCs or just to cheer yourselves up! I'm sure you can eat ice cream on a ball, but a word of warning - I do feel a bit sick after eating two bowls of it and a muffin!

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 01/06/2007 15:20

Wow BrownSuga....big labour vibes coming your way...get on that ball and bounce, go up and down stairs, nipple stim....but no sex though!!

I'm feeling more and more like the boy who cried wolf.....if I do go into labour before Tuesday, no-one will believe me!

DesperateDerlor · 01/06/2007 15:24

i have nothing to say today just at you 2 - you know who you are

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 01/06/2007 15:25

Don't be at me Derlor....I'm sure this is something and nothing again.....but I will have my LO on Tuesday at the latest, so not long to wait now!!

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 01/06/2007 15:27

Why do always find out about useful things when its too bloody late.....I could have done with these months ago!

DesperateDerlor · 01/06/2007 15:28

tuesday smuesday - i'm convinced mine is going to still be in here at Christmas!!!
i've forgotted what it feels like NOT to be pregnant i'm off to the shops to buy LOTS of chocolate to console my miserable self (every cloud) x

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 01/06/2007 15:31

you could always try sacrificing chocolate to the moon spirits tonight???

nah...better off eating it yourself

BrownSuga · 01/06/2007 15:37

will have to try that ball business or not, could do with a good nights sleep tonight. last night was a write off with all the leaking and wondering. i'm sitting here eating cheese and crackers with branston, sharing with the dog. but chocolate sounds more up my alley, or toffee popcorn, mmm, must go rummaging.

twinkle5 · 01/06/2007 15:49

wow, good luck Brownsuga! I'm due on the 8th with my first and I was assuming I'd still be waiting in 3 weeks, but you have given me hope!

annobal · 01/06/2007 15:53

LOL Daisy - I saw them and thought they were fab - have often considered the braces as well

Am willing to bet on at least 2 births tonight - any takers

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 01/06/2007 15:56

Annobal - please let it be me!? I would like to have my baby now! Please Please.

Don't tell me it could be another 5 weeks yet!

riabutterflew · 01/06/2007 15:58

I'm allowed to go off any time after my friends party (but not before because she needs my support).

DH doesn't want to work this weekend.

annobal · 01/06/2007 15:58

Have you seen this thread. I figure if I'm not getting any it's okay to laugh at others??

annobal · 01/06/2007 15:59

Of course it can be you DKMA - all you have to do is dance naked...

riabutterflew · 01/06/2007 16:00

I've been back to bed again - I'm getting good at this. I am going to wrap the boys gifts from the LO while they are in the bath and then it's full-on get ready to go out time! (will do the fathers day ones while I'm on to make it into a proper job!!!)

Be back later - it won't be a late night as kids involved.

I mean this in the nicest possible way, but I hope some of us are absent with reason by then!

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 01/06/2007 16:08

PMSL at that thread annobal!

I will dance about naked with a megaphone shouting 'look at my big fat arse' and 'can anyone tell me what my fanjo looks like these days?' if I thought it would get this baby out!??

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 01/06/2007 16:11

Are we going to need a new thread title soon?

annobal · 01/06/2007 16:16

How about 'Due in June...try dancing naked under the full moon

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 01/06/2007 16:19

Yeh - thats good - surely no one will be offended by that title - unless they actually see a load of naked heavily pg women dancing naked! then that WOULD be offensive!

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 01/06/2007 16:52

OK kids....I've done the NEW THREAD since you've all disappeared.
